HP09 - Heat mode, fan setting and odd smell?

Hi all, I got a HP09 today and have 2 issues.Regardless of the fan speed setting on heat mode its just on full blast whether set at 1 or 10, is this normal? The fan changes speed on cool mode no problem. And the smell coming from it on heat mode i can only describe as a drill overheating, like a motor burning in hot plastic.It's only been powered on for less than an hour, does this smell go away after a certain amount of usage? (Edited by moderator – tags added)

Purifier Switching on by itself - Help?

My purifier is switching on by itself. It’s not on auto mode. Random times. Also it shows indoors temp as 0 degrees (I’m in Perth and it’s 35 degrees outside). Grateful for any feedback. (Moderator Edit - Tags Added)

Night Mode on HP09

When in heating mode, the night mode on my HP09 heater purifier only dims the display but it’s still very bright in a dark room. When in cooling mode & night mode is on, the display is off completely. Is there a way for night mode to turn machine display off completely when heating mode is on?

MyDyson App - Ukrainian App Store - Unavailable

Hello! I am from Ukraine and became a happy owner of PH04🥳 But I was very surprised that for Ukraine it is impossible to download MyDyson app😩 I had to register a new AppleID to install the app.  I don't understand why there are such restrictions?  You do not want people from Ukraine to use your equipment?) The application itself is not badly done, although it is a little crooked and sometimes stupid😕 Special thanks for the Russian language!  Albeit partial.  And it doesn't always fit on the screen.  But it's nice to have it) I would also like HomeKit support I hope the application will be available in the Ukrainian App Store in the next update. Thank you!🙏

Apple Watch Ultra 2 doesn't recognize registered air purifier

We have a Dyson Air Purifier (TP09). it was registered into the iPhone application, whih works like a champ.Just now I got a new Apple Watch Ultra 2, where MyDyson app is installed. But when activated, it just says ADD MACHINE and instructing doing it in the phone application). But As I write, the device is successfully registered in phone application.Is it is  bug in the watch applictaion not yet supporting Ultra 2? Or there is something I have to do to ceent it to the devie (both the phone, watch and the device are on the same wi-fi network of course)?Any suggestion?Thanks in advance.

Loud Buzzing Dyson Cool™ AM07 tower fan - Recommendations?

Hello, bought in May 2021 and only now it starts to buzz loudly which defeats the selling point of the machine for me, no obstructions and I fully cleaned the inside, still buzzing. Called Dyson and they told me to drive to another state to go to a service center and they would not replace since it’s out of warranty.I paid almost $400 for a fan and it does not function in about 2 years and no replacement?I thought Dyson was going to be better about this, any suggestions on how I can get it replaced let me know, much appreciated.Bruce (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/ Title Updated)

Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde™ PH04 Running on High fan when set to AUTO

Hi, my fan has been running on high all day when I’ve set it to AUTO. I bought it earlier this week and when I initially set it to AUTO the fan was at a low speed. The app is showing that the ‘Auto Target’ air quality is being met, but it’s still on a high setting when on AUTO. Does anyone have an answer for why this is happening?

Hi Dyson Community, I would like to know the Wattage and airflow numbers for your HP09 TP09 ans HP07 HP09: Watts ?, Airflow ? HP07: Watts 40W on Speed 10 (no Heat). 1800W on Speed 10 (Heat 27c), Airflow? TP09: Watts ?, Airflow ?

Dyson AM05 Display Error E8

Recently, my Dyson AM05 started displaying an "E8" error code on its screen after few minutes when heating mode is on. Cold mode is working normally without any issue. I’ve noticed there is only one side of heater is warming up and second one is always cold. Initially, I wasn't quite sure what this meant, and unfortunately, the user manual doesn't provide much information about specific error codes like E8. As a result, I'm a bit stuck as to what steps I should take to resolve this issue.

Heater Purifier - No WIFI symbol

Hi, I just bought Dyson HP04 yesterday and tried to connect it with MyDyson.  I kept failing to do that and it seems that the WIFI symbol never showed up in the HP04 screen.  I tried to press and hold on/off for more than 30 seconds, unplug and plug it, uninstall and install the purifier. PH04 Smell & Baby - Any recommendations?

The PH04 is in our baby’s room, hints the neurosis about it.We put the machine in baby’s room because of the new furniture etc., and since, the room always smells a little like sweet plastic. I thought it was a mix of new baby stuff and diapers (gross), but the other day I sniffed the air purifier, and it’s the air coming out that smells! Once I took the purifier out, smell gone. I took the machine to the local Dyson store and they said it’s likely from the plastics in the machine and smells that are tightly trapped in there from manufacturing overseas. Thoughts on this? The machine’s filter was replaced last month, so that’s not the issue. Is this a health concern? I want to make sure the air baby is getting is legitimately clean.  (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)

How do I reset the filter life indicator on my Dyson purifier heater HP00?

Can someone please explain the reset procedure for a HP00 fan as none of the instructions seem to be correct. I have just received my machine back from Dyson repair and the filter symbol has gone but I am still non the wiser and I am concerned than when it appears again I’ll have to return it again. Please any help is welcome(Moderation edit - title updated)

PH3A Purifier/Humidifier - Shutting Down

I have had my PH3A for four days now, and it’s great except for one problem. When I use both the humidifier and purifier on auto, after a while the unit will shut down completely and won’t power back on unless it sits for 15 or 20 minutes. The 24-hour logging resets, which would tell me it’s not an auto-shutoff feature. When switched to auto purify, the fan kicks up to max, and the only way I can have both the purifier and humidifier on (so far) is to have the purifier fan on a lower manual setting.

Wrongly bought TP04 filter for TP07. Combi vs Dual filters

Accidentally bought Dyson Glass HEPA Replacement Filter For Dyson Pure Cool™ Tower/ Desk (For TP04/DP04), but I have a TP07 unit.It fits a little bit weird but could probably work if i push it. Will this be okay? (Edited by moderator – Tags added/Title amended)

Should I buy this Hot+Cool Dyson purifier?SPOTLIGHTED POST

Hi there, I was wondering if I should buy the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Formaldehyde. The reason why I am asking this is because I heard these are energy efficient and have low running costs on the heating side.I live in London UK, and the normal central heating is around £450 a month. I was thinking to invest into one of these and possibly have the Dyson heat my home for less?Can an owner confirm how much the heating on one of these would cost, compared to Central Heating.I will only use this for around 1-2 hours a day on low/medium heat.Thank you!

US - UL 1278 heating solution - Suggestion

Now I know a lot of us people in the USA can’t control heating via app because of safety concerns, but what if Dyson created a bluetooth system so that if it detects that you’re at least in range of the device. That way we can atleast turn on the heater while we’re in the house. Won’t be a solution for those who want to warm up the room in advance though, just for convenience in house.

Maximum fan speed night mode auto

It's a shame that you can't set the maximum fan speed for auto when in night mode. Fan speed 4 is a little high/noisy so would be good to be able choose the limit ourselves for certain more noise sensitive areas to only get to a Max of 3 say.

My TP09 smells after 2 weeks - Suggestions?

Hi folks,I've got an issue with a new TP09 purchased directly. We've had it on maybe 6/7 hours a day, but yesterday night I noticed a smell in the room.Tonight I noticed the same thing, like a mix between butter that had gone off and mild cheese and onion crisps. I hunted around and finally sniffed the air coming from the fan and that was it. My partner thinks it smells like a plasticky smell, but I think it definitely has a more ‘organic' vibe..Nothing has been spilled on or near the fan. Has anybody else experienced this and is this a known issue with the fan? Can anything be done to fix it?

Dyson Humidifier - App showing drip tray overflow

On the app I getting Drip Tray overflow showing. Tried to do a deep clean but it wouldn’t respond, deleted the app and uploaded it and the message is still showing. Any ideas as to how I get rid of the message. It is dry and has only been in the house today and this warning came on at the first use.

Anyone else get tinnitus from their Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™? Or other Dyson fans?

So, I am wondering if there is anyone else out there who gets pretty acute tinnitus from their Dyson fan? Initially I couldn’t figure out what was causing mine but after a few experiments I am now 100% sure it is our Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link. Within a couple minutes the tinnitus starts up, and is glaringly obvious once the fan is switched off and no longer masking the ringing that it has provoked in my ears. A quick google finds I’m not the only one - and apparently some cats can’t stand to be in the same room as them (!?). Anyone else? Is it the same on newer models?

Dyson Purifier - Continuous monitoring issue

I have a Dp04 purifier. I can't get filter management or continuous monitoring to work, I've done all the resets several times it always says when I've reset it that it needs an update it is on auto-update but the software version hasn't changed. I saw a post about communication issues with the servers and updates with the machine. If you could please help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.
