Does Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde remove PFAS?

Does the Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde recognise and remove PFAS? (The airborne compounds are thought to break off of PFAS-treated products such as carpeting and clothing and attach to dust or freely float through the indoor environment.PFAS are dubbed “forever chemicals” because they do not naturally break down. They accumulate in animals, including humans, and are linked to cancer, birth defects, liver disease, thyroid disease, decreased immunity, hormone disruption and a range of other serious health problems.)

AM10 Humidfier Clicking / Water drippping noise

Hi Everyone, I recently bought a Dyson Am10 humidifier and put it into my son’s room to help his nose allergy / blood issue.The machine looks nice and it works well by improving the humidity level within the room.However, we noticed that it constantly has a water dripping / clicking noise when running. Sometimes the noise is so loud that it can wake the kid up during the night.Just wondering if this is normal. We even went to the Dyson store to check, and the demo machine does not seem to have this issue.Any insights will be appreciated.Thank you!!! (Moderation edit - link removed)

HP04 heater is blowing cool air.

I purchased an HP04 renewed about 3 weeks ago. This evening I turned on the heater but the room didn’t warm up. I checked the info panel and saw that it was 66 degrees and it was set at 74. The fan was on 4. I turned up the fan to 9 and after 10 minutes the room temperature was still 66 degrees. 20 minutes later it is 67 degrees. There are no error codes that I noticed. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in, no change. Any suggestions?

Resolving issues with my Dyson TP04 air cleaner

Hey everyone,I wanted to share my experience with my Dyson TP04 EU/CH Wh/Sv 310130-01 air cleaner, which I bought at Jul 2020. Unfortunately, the device stopped turning on about six months ago, even though I barely used it. I took it to an authorized service center, and they said they could replace it with a different model without wireless features for 4000 TL.I have a few issues with this whole situation that I want to bring up. First of all, my original device had wireless features, which I thought were pretty essential. Secondly, the authorized service center couldn't give me a specific diagnosis of what was wrong with the device, so I don't even know what I'm paying for.I also have asthma, so I really rely on my Dyson vacuum cleaner and air cleaner to keep my air clean and healthy. It's frustrating that my air cleaner broke down for seemingly no reason and that I couldn't get any help.Has anyone else had this experience? What did you do to resolve it? I'd love to hear your thought

latest software version for TP09

I have two TP09's and they show 2 different software versions. Software update is turned on and I did the power off and unplugged for 10 minutes and they both still show 2 different versions. Does that sound right?

Returns Page isn't working, impossible to reach customer service

Dyson’s return page isn’t loading, and I cannot get a hold on anyone to provide me with instructions to return my product. Trying here to get a hold on someone to help me. It is unacceptable that this company sells luxury electronics, yet their customer service seems to be non-existent.

Purifiers (DP04) - Why are all the filters out of stock?

This will be my last ever dyson purchase of anything, the customer service is appalling over waiting months to find out about getting a replacement hp04 filter . So the question is where are they all??? The answer to that is I don’t know and nor does dyson as todays WhatsApp message from dyson was this “Filters are currently out of stock direct but can be purchased through our third party retail partners - eSpares, PartMaster, 4Your Home, Appliance Spares Warehouse, Buyspares & PartCentre.”so we spend over £500 on a machine to then put in non dyson parts - is it covered by warranties who knows ? dyson please stick to hoovers im Done dealing with bad customer service and you having no filters for your Machines

Aroma Diffuser and/or lit candles

I have always enjoyed a light pleasant and attractive smell in my home. Partly because it helps in disguising unwanted pet odor. Also bcs I love an amazing smelling home that's pet safe, and contains no harsh chemicals. I guess this is both a question and Discussion. Will the scent of either a Aroma Diffuser (which has controls for the Density of the Aroma as well as the concentration percentage), and/or a lit scented Candle affect the performance of the Dyson purifier cool TP07. I noticed when I turned it on again, the readings went immediately to the red, saying bad air quality, etc. This was after moving it to where it's potential home may be, which was only 2 feet away from where I turned it on for the very first time. I did go ahead and turn off my aromadiffuser and lid the candle. Mind you, both were in use when I initially turned it on when I was getting to know my machine. It stated my air was good then. Will this be an issue with these machines moving forward? Any one else ha

Digits not showing on Dyson Air purifier screen

My Dyson sir purifier always used to have a number on the screen on the device that would show at a quick glance what the air quality was like. If we sprayed perfume or deodorant for example the number would go up. This has now disappeared and there is just a flat green line that never moves. How do I get the number back?

Replacement filter not available after 3 months

Hi there, I have been a long time user of the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Purifier. About 3 months ago, I got a message in my app stating that the filter should be replaced soon, so I attempted to purchase one from the online Australian store. It said there was none in stock, so I put my email address in to be notified when stock will arrive. This morning, it now says a replacement is required, however I still am yet to receive an email say stock has arrived. I have tried to purchase one again, but am getting the same message. While I love the product, the support in purchasing replacement filters I less than ordinary 😕. Could someone please advise when the replacement part 968101-05 will be available for purchasing again and whether stock replacement support will improve. While I love using this product, if filters can’t be purchased within a reasonable time, I would have no choice but to trash this and get a different brand.

HP09 fan heater - How to Use

Yesterday I received my HP09 fan heater direct from Dyson.I chose this model because the website advised it suitable for whole room heating.However, the safety information leaflet received with the heater advises”This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use”.I can’t see this statement on the website - did I miss it?Do owners of this machine use it constantly without issues ? please advise.

Dyson Exchange of Airwrap

I bought my Dyson airwrap a little over 2 years ago and began experiencing issues with it randomly turning off and then a random burning smell so I called Dyson. They were nice enough to allow me to exchange the airwrap however at this point it has been 1 month since the exchange process has started and over 3 weeks since Dyson has recieved the old airwrap. I have contacted their customer service via chat, email, and phone at minimum 20 times and am always just given the run around that they are “working on it”. I understand the holiday times makes things crazy but this just seems a little ridiculous. At this rate I’m not sure if I will ever get a new device. Is anyone else experiencing issues with exchanges?

Where to place the Dyson PH04 for 2 Rooms - Suggestions welcome.

Hey there,I would like to get the Dyson PH04 and use it for both our bedroom and our son's bedroom/nursery. Since we live in an old building, the air quality is often not like in a new building. The air is sometimes too dry (especially on warm days) and there is also an occasional smell of old wood/dust. The bedrooms are right next to each other and separated by a door as shown in my drawing. Where would you most likely place the PH04 so that it purifies/humidifies the air in both rooms? What I'm also a bit concerned about is that the soon to be 3 child will always play around with the ph04 if it gets in the way too much. maybe you have some nice tips?Thank you in advance for your opinions/answersKristofer

Dyson TP02 – Air quality sensor fault

I’m getting the “Air quality sensor fault” message for my TP02. The machine doesn’t get any temperature or humidity level reading. This doesn’t allow me to turn the machine into the ‘AUTO’ mode from the app. This is a new machine, I just activated the warranty. The problem is very similar to the one described in this post earlier. I tried all the recommended steps:Turning the machine on and off. Reinstalling the MyDyson app. Removing the machine from the app and adding it back. Returning the machine to it’s factory state.None of these steps helped. I brought my machine to the Certified Dyson Service Center and they weren’t able to help! According to them, they replaced the sensor but the problem didn’t go away “which means that the problem was with the software, not the hardware”. Dyson reference number: 9141096472.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I have received from your agency regarding a purifier device that I purchased on few months ago The serial number of the device is [Moderation edit - personal information removed] Since its purchase, the purifier device has consistently displayed error messages, requiring me to restart it frequently for it to function properly. However, despite my efforts to rectify the issue, the device eventually stopped working altogether. Dyson Air Purifier Emits Smell and Irritates My Throat And Nose

Hi, I have a Dyson air purifier for about 3 years...no issues. Recently, I noticed that it has a funky smell coming out of where it blows air. The filters have a lot if life left. The past few nights I woke up with sore throat and stuffed nose which disappears after few hours. I will be contacting support soon but I wanted to hear if anyone has any ideas here. Thank you. Part Number 971846-01

I have a PH02 Dyson Pure Humidity+Cool Cryptomic and the pump column has gone bad. It is Part Number 971846-01 but Dyson’s website says it is no longer available. Would the Pump Column for the PH04 and Ph03 Machines (Part No. 970753-02) work in a PH02 as the Part No. 970753-02 is available to purchase?

Big + Quiet Software Bug, the saga continues...

Dyson Big + Quiet Formaldehyde Software bug, the saga continues As the title suggests we are now on our second Big + Quiet air purifier, whilst the build quality and purification of the machine is without a doubt first class, the software is a completely different story.I've reached out to numerous outlets in Dyson, higher up the command chain via their emails, which go completely ignored to finally getting a sort of response with sending my findings to the software vulnerability email, which I was told someone from the product team "might be in touch" shocker, no one has been, and this issue whilst most might not be aware of is starting to become abit of a joke, the fact no one takes responsibility is concerning.The issue again relates to the ambient lighting sensor not adjusting the screen brightness at all, this was fine on the previous software but since the update to 0664PF.00.08.005.0002 the brightness is just stuck at full until the power is cut to the machine, again after powe

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde - No power/electrical short - Ideas?

I plugged in the purifier at my new flat, worked fine for hours, then I turned on its heating function and after a while there was a puff of spark/flame and it shut down. I circled the rough area it came from, I’m guessing it’ll be a fuse or something that I need to replace.Anyone know which part I should look at?The wall plug itself is probably dodgy I would guess so I’ll plug it in somewhere else once it’s fixed Cheers,Will
