service /repair query

I have a V10  absolute cordless vacuum cleaner, just out of warranty. It keeps cutting out every few seconds . It has a new battery after the troubleshooting app suggested this was the fault I read  on line that they have a repair service where the unit is picked up by courier , repaired and returned for £99 but when I tried to book this I was told what part was probably faulty and the cost for that at £105 plus then the pick up etc for £99 . I feel this is a con. How can they possibly know what part is failing and why this tremendous cost for a repair . I,m guessing they don,t want to repair it but want me to purchase new but with a two year life span I feel I will be better going for a different brand . Has anybody else had this sort of problem ?

Round and round with customer service

My wife dropped her hair dryer. it did no turn on. i brought it to the service center in fairfax, va. they could not fix it and it was still under warranty so they promised to ship us a new one. the replacement came in the mail two days later and was damaged with no cover even on the filter. i brought the replacement damaged hair dryer back to the service center in fairfax, va and they promised to send me a brand new one to replace the damaged one. that was one month ago and we still have not received anything. when i went back to the fairfax va store, the tech gave me a faulty replacement i.d. that was associated with another customer. I chatted with Dyson customer service yesterday for one hour and Dyson promised to emal me with a resolution - so far nothing!!!

Floor dok for V15?

Will the floor dok be available in stock, or should I wait indefinitely?My replacement order for this floor dock was initially placed on August 30th but was automatically canceled after three weeks due to stock unavailability. I contacted Dyson to reorder it, and their response was that it would be in stock in 1-2 weeks, with instructions to wait for an email notification. However, after two weeks, I reached out to Dyson multiple times because no email had been received, and I received the same answer repeatedly for three months now.When I inquired about the last time Dyson actually had this floor dok in stock, the response was three months ago. I feel frustrated due to their untruthful answers. While I appreciate Dyson's generosity in offering me this replacement order free of charge, I hope they can provide me with details on when it will be in stock. I really want to stop worrying about it and start enjoying using my V15.

Can Dyson Gen 5 shred carpet fibers?

Hi, I’ve recently bought a Dyson Gen 5 detect. I’ve had it for days now and I have done a deep vacuum clean for almost 5 days now on our carpet. I noticed that it seems to be pulling the carpet fibers? I’m not really sure why it still keeps pulling these dirt/carpet fibers since I have basically been vacuuming everyday. Is it the motorhead brush being too stiff that it shreds the carpet fibers?

Having trouble registering a warranty for my customer

Require assistance registering warranty online for a Nickel Copper Dyson Airwrap standard barrel bought from the UAE.The serial keeps coming as incorrect and sometimes it goes through but asks for a different date of purchase and then gives the same error again.Need assistance on this please, thank you.

Red line across Dyson V15 display

Hi,I just bought my new Dyson V15 and I have a question about strange red line that showed up on the second use across whole display. It’s a thin red line on the left side of screen, what does it mean? it wasn’t there when I first used the vacuum but appeared during second use. I can’t find anywhere the explanation of it ?

terrible customer service

I have received awful customer service from Dyson regarding broken straighteners. I was told they would be collected to be repaired, waited in all day nobody came to collect, called them- not working today for collections???? Even though we were told it would be today. went on chat and was told they weren’t fixable and they were sorry for the mix up, then I was told to wait for the collections as it could be up until 8pm. called Dyson and asked if they weren’t fixable would I get the product back? The lady couldn’t tell me if I would? The whole process makes no sense at all. Terrible service for high end products and I still have no answer.

Dyson V12 filter needs cleaning after every use, even if with new original filter

Hello. DysonV12 sends message filter needs cleaning after every use for the last weeks. I have it for 1,5 years and this issue started few weeks ago. Today i replaced filter with new original one and i get same message. Does anyone know how to solve this and what is the issue?I keep the vacuum clean, it has no blockages, i cleaned it in the past every time i got this message.i saw other people had same issue but could not find a clarification. I tried also with digital assistant as suggested in a message but could not get answerThank you

Poor Customer Support

Hi All, I must admit I am shocked at the standard of customer service and having investigated more it looks like I am not on my own! How can such a reputable company stand over such bad CS practices? The product I have ordered is very expensive in my opinion and for premium products and the claims made on your website I would expect a much higher standard. I have had a Dyson machine for over 10 years now and I am very happy with the product itself and decided to upgrade as the one I have is not lasting the time needed to a full house clean. I ordered the new Dyson online and as stated on the website expected a 2 day delivery - why make these claims if you cannot stand over them!!I have contacted CS twice to be told the same thing please wait 24 hours having read through other complaints I am fearful now having invested this money in a new Dyson with the level of support being offered.What are Dyson doing to remedy this? Thanks,Sinead

Customer Service is a huge dyson-pointment

When I receive email from Dyson it says “Contacting us is easy!”   Yes, but getting them to do anything is hard.I have never received what I ordered and have tried numerous times to get Customer Support to respond to me.   Nothing ever happens.I ordered a Dyson Airwrap in Prussian Blue/Rich Copper together with a detangling comb and a brush set in Rose on November 23, 2023.  A few days later I received notification that it would arrive on December 4, 2023.   However, what actually arrived was a vacuum cleaner.   This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my teenage daughter, since she was so happy with the Dyson hair straightener that she received a few months prior for her birthday.I’ve purchased a half dozen Dyson products in my life.  I’ve never had a reason to contact Customer Support before, so I never realized what the company was really like.  Yes, they make great products.  What they don’t do is great customer support.As a single mom I’m a very busy person.  I eagerly beli

How do I order a replacement part under guarantee

Why do I keep getting fobbed off by customer services? I thought Dyson were supposed to be a company of excellence but all I get is the run around. Christian in CS said a part was out of stock and to phone back in 2 weeks if I hadn't received the replacement. So I did and got a one week deadline from Adrian in CS. MY DYSON V12 is still in warranty and the "elbow" joint has broken. It may not seem much but at 186cm tall it means I don't need to stoop to vacuum. Regardless of that, the part broke within warranty. I guess Dyson just don't care like they used to and are the same as Hoover now. Money grabbing conglomerates with no interest in customers(Moderation edit - title updated)

I made a return on March 16th, it was delivered to Dyson on March 29th, few weeks went by and I noticed that I haven’t received a refund yet so I contacted customer service and they told me that I amstill in the window of 7-14 business days , days went by nothing changed, I called customer service and they promised me that I will receive my money within few days, and again nothing has changed. I am now on business day number 24 and I still haven’t received my refund. So please let me know who can I contact to receive my money back. I have never experienced worst customer service than Dyson.

Shocking Customer Service

Awful Dyson Customer Service Experience. I made an initial call to the customer service team on 15/4/24 regarding an unwanted battery that I had returned weeks earlier and had not been refunded for, as we decided to go ahead and purchase a new Dyson instead.A case number  was given. Thereafter I was told and reassured by at least 6 different customer service team members on separate calls that the “Case is escalated wait 72 hours”. and that operations team would be in touch, this has not happened and the date now is 30/4/24, very disappointing especially as proof of postage has been provided and uploaded by them more than once. Along the way a team member even hung up on me saying can’t help anymore! They seem unable/willing to pass me on to a team leader or even provide an e mail address, even after 6 plus phone calls,quite ridiculous really.

eBay seller may be scammer, who do I report it to?

I recently purchased a reconditioned SV16 V11 Outsize vacuum from Dyson Official Store on ebay. After searching the Dyson.com website I find no mention of this seller. The item was shipped to a wrong address even though I entered a delivery address during the checkout process but it was ignored. Now I am out $352.26 and no cleaner either. I have tried appealing to eBay with no luck.

First time buyer, extremely unsatisfied with customer service

Hello,I was beyond excited to purchase my first Dyson until it became extremely frustrating and difficult to resolve a simple problem. During the process of purchasing my first Dyson, I was on the phone with a Dyson Representative who was talking through the order with me. The representative had promised me that I could get my initials engraved after placing the order myself in which I did. After placing the order she was sorry to inform me that she was unable to get my initials done so she offered me a discount. She told me she would cancel my first order and create a new order with the discount. She promised me that the order would be cancelled and I even called again later to confirm with another representative. Later on I view that I was charged for BOTH orders and when I called back customer service they claimed that there was nothing they can do and I had to wait until they shipped it out and I would need to decline delivery to receive a refund. How do I get my money back?

Purchased vacume cleaner (animal) and home cleaning kit in March. Delay on home cleaning kit so rang said not received. But then it turned up. Charged £417.49 instead of invoiced amount of £429.99. Received refund of £379.99.for vacume cleaner but still owed £37.50 for home cleaning kit. It has been over a month now!Lots of investigations when you ring customer service but I still have not had my money back. Help!

Dyson V11 Outsize Motorhead

I am trying to remove the roller from the Motorhead. I have removed one end as per the instructions, the next task is to slide out the roller, but it is completely stick.  The roller will go round but I am unable to slide the roller out of the head.  I started this becuse the cleaner was working but making a loud noise.
