Dyson PH3 Humidifier Sensor for humidity in room faulty on 5 machines

We are beside ourselves on how to get the PH3 Humidifier to work. Dyson has now sent us 5 replacement machines in last couple months. None of them are reading the humidity in our rooms correctly. All show 74-77 percent. Thus, no water leaves their tanks. Customer Service can’t fix the issue with hours of phone calls. We think they have bad sensors. How can this many new machines have same problem? We run it on Auto and tried off Auto. Pressed remote and power button 10 seconds for countdown to reset, updated software via app, removed water tanks and reinserted, checked if wet at cap above water tank (yes). What is wrong with these?

Identifying a counterfeit Airwrap

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap off a private seller on eBay UK.The item was sold as New/Unboxed.Receiving the item, I was able to see that it was not new and very much used.After looking at more detail of the machine, I’ve noticed some details which make me question the authenticity of the machine.I’ve spoken to someone the customer server online chat who said it was genuine because the serial number ends with an “A”, not helpful.I’ve spoken to a customer service agent on the phone, and he said I’d need to send it into a repair centre or if i’m lucky go to a store, and they can identify it. Unfortunately, no stores anywhere near Cambridge, UK and can’t send the machine off because i’ll be sending it back to the seller to get a refund.I’m attaching the photos which make me believe this is counterfeit.1- The white circle below the main power button is not aligned in the center vertically. Nor is the blue dot. The line on the right is neither straight. There is no white circle on the power b

Stains on Dyson Airwrap multi-styler in color blue/blush

Hello! I bought a Dyson verified travel case for my Airwrap and is causing blue stains on the pink part of it, can’t remove them with anything, I thought the case will take care of my Dyson, I just got it on December last year, someone knows if this apply for the guarantee? thank you.

Cordless V12 Trade in promotion failure to send return labels

We bought a new V12 Absolute vacuum from Dyson with a £100 trade in promotion to return our old V8. Despite 3 telephone calls and 2 online chats we have yet to receive an email with the promised return labels. We have been assured that the email has been sent but 2 weeks later there is nothing.I am now of the belief that this whole recycle and receive £100 cashback is a marketing scam, and the customer service which has on the whole been very polite is of little value when nothing that they tell you is actually being done.Very disappointed with Dyson, their vacuum is great but I have no confidence in the company support.

The $700 dyson Brick

So a couple months after the warranty ended, the $700 air purifier is now a brick. It just displays an exclamation point inside a triangle, won’t do anything else. Customer service made me jump through email, chat bot, and live chat hoops for days before saying I was SOL with this device. Before I drive an hour to the nearest service center to see what they want to charge me to get this $700 device working again I thought I’d see if anyone had ideas of a better way to get this working. *And yes, I’ll share this experience on TikTok and twitter. What a (super expensive) racket they have going on here.

Does the 360 Vis Nav ONLY use the map? Or does the camera and sensors override the map?

I am curious about mapping. Since the software doesn’t seem to like angled walls, does the robot map the house and use it “as a suggestion,” allowing the cameras and sensors to “override” the map if it determines that it can actually follow the edge of a diagonal cabinet or wall? When I look at my map, there are very large zig-zags representing these diagonal walls and cabinets. But when it shows the cleaning map, it overlaps—but not exactly—the original map from mapping. Just curious if this thing is smart enough with sensors and cameras to determine where things actually are in the room.

How to deal with Dyson’s terrible customer service?

I bought a Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet on March 11. The order confirmation said: "Shipping within 3-7 business days, plus processing time." It still hasn't shown up and this is almost 2 months from when I ordered it. I have tried to get help from Dyson from both live chat and phone on multiple occasions but haven't been able to get anyone who could help. I have gotten 3 emails from them over the past 2 months, each saying my expected date for my purchase had changed and I should expect it in 7-10 Business Days. It still hasn’t arrived. Today I finally got someone on the phone who told me he couldn’t find my order. When I told him I wasn’t hanging up and didnt trust him to call back or email me a response, he put me on hold for a long time and spoke to the warehouse. He said my order was shipped and should arrive tomorrow. I’ll believe that when I see it. Is there any way to get this company to treat its customers better? I am appalled at how hard it is to get a produc

V8 Absolute power button problem

When I am holding down on the power button of my V8 absolute and vacuuming it will cut off then on. It acts as though the power button has a short in it or not making contact with the area in the button that makes it run. On the Absolute you have to hold down the power button with your finger for it to run.

Dyson airwrap purchased in the US and doesnt work in the philippines. what to do?

Hi. Im new to the community. My aunt in the US recently purchased a dyson complete airwrap as a gift for us and brought it here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, we cant use it here due to the difference in voltage. Asked dyson philippines customer care if they can swap or recommend any transformer converter but they said that its best to ask Dyson US on it. Is there any particular brand of transformer or coverter available in the philippines that we can purchase to make this work here? I know we can no longer use the warranty since its only valid in the US and we can bo longer return it to US too since the number of days for return already lapsed so we are just exhausting means to make it work here in the Philippines. Any leads eill be greatly appreciated. We just dont wanna wast the money spent on this dyson so we better make this work here.

service /repair query

I have a V10 absolute cordless vacuum cleaner, just out of warranty. It keeps cutting out every few seconds . It has a new battery after the troubleshooting app suggested this was the fault I read on line that they have a repair service where the unit is picked up by courier , repaired and returned for £99 but when I tried to book this I was told what part was probably faulty and the cost for that at £105 plus then the pick up etc for £99 . I feel this is a con. How can they possibly know what part is failing and why this tremendous cost for a repair . I,m guessing they don,t want to repair it but want me to purchase new but with a two year life span I feel I will be better going for a different brand . Has anybody else had this sort of problem ?

Round and round with customer service

My wife dropped her hair dryer. it did no turn on. i brought it to the service center in fairfax, va. they could not fix it and it was still under warranty so they promised to ship us a new one. the replacement came in the mail two days later and was damaged with no cover even on the filter. i brought the replacement damaged hair dryer back to the service center in fairfax, va and they promised to send me a brand new one to replace the damaged one. that was one month ago and we still have not received anything. when i went back to the fairfax va store, the tech gave me a faulty replacement i.d. that was associated with another customer. I chatted with Dyson customer service yesterday for one hour and Dyson promised to emal me with a resolution - so far nothing!!!

V15 bin / cannister fills at the top only.

I purchased two v15s last year (2023). When I reported the issue of cannister filling at top only to Dyson a couple of months ago, with a photo, the agent immediately diagnosed loose suction and sent me a replacement bin. Last week I noticed the same thing happening to my other v15. However yesterday the Dyson agent said there was nothing wrong with the bin and wouldn’t replace it. She wanted me to bring it to a Dyson dealer. I don’t have time to drive 40 mins to the nearest dealer (2x - drop-off and pick-up) for an issue that has already been diagnosed BY DYSON.I’ve completed all the trouble-shooting and cleaning. How can I simply get a replacement bin for my still-under-warranty machine?

Floor dok for V15?

Will the floor dok be available in stock, or should I wait indefinitely?My replacement order for this floor dock was initially placed on August 30th but was automatically canceled after three weeks due to stock unavailability. I contacted Dyson to reorder it, and their response was that it would be in stock in 1-2 weeks, with instructions to wait for an email notification. However, after two weeks, I reached out to Dyson multiple times because no email had been received, and I received the same answer repeatedly for three months now.When I inquired about the last time Dyson actually had this floor dok in stock, the response was three months ago. I feel frustrated due to their untruthful answers. While I appreciate Dyson's generosity in offering me this replacement order free of charge, I hope they can provide me with details on when it will be in stock. I really want to stop worrying about it and start enjoying using my V15.

Frizz and Dyson Airwrap

I have recently purchased the Dyson air wrap and although initially I was impressed with results with continued usage I find that my hair are more frizzy and dry. Has anyone else experienced it. I usually just like a smooth hair as my hair are naturally wavy but it's becoming so frizz prone despite products and conditioner that I am having to use my straighteners after which defeats the purpose of protecting hair. Please help, as starting to wonder if I have made a mistake buying it.

Hi allI have recently purchased this Dyson Ball Animal from Costco - https://www.costco.co.uk/Home-Kitchen/Dyson-Ball-Animal-Upright-Vacuum-Cleaner-with-Whole-Home-Cleaning-Kit/p/9237The box arrived today and it says it is the Dyson UP32 SILNK UK (I'm assuming this is the UP 32 model which is the £279.99 Dyson Ball Animal model on the Dyson website), however I am worried I have an older model as the box says it Dyson 2021 for the yearMy questions are therefore as follows:Is the Dyson UP32 the Dyson Ball Animal that is £279.99 on the Dyson website? What are the differences between the 4 upright Dyson models? Dyson Ball Animal, Dyson Ball Animal origin, Dyson Ball Animal multi floor and Dyson Ball animal complete? New battery for the Dyson Vis Nav

I just got my Dyson 360 Vis Nav, I would like to get an extra Dyson battery. I did not see any on the Dyson website and I am wondering if they are even available. Also does anyone have any idea of how to change out the old battery for a new one for the vis nav? I am asking about this as my old robot vacuum was the 360 Eye and when it came time to change the battery I couldn’t find a Dyson battery for it. So I had to use a Chinese knock off battery that kill my 360 eye! I see others here in the community have had the same experience. Thanking you in advance, Rob

Dyson Ball Animal issues

Whille I love my Dyson Ball Animal for my wall-to-wall carpet, I find using the attachments so frustrating I want to throw the vacuum down the hill behind my house.My old dyson had an issue with the hose that connects to the attachments being too strung out and almost impossible to straighten and get put away. The new one? The hose is SO TIGHT that you can barely use the attachements. The two attachments I use are the flat brush for my wood floors and the small attachment that has two round brush heads on it for my rugs that are on the wood floor.First, the wand is too short to be useful for someone 5’7” tall. I have to hunch over to use this attachment. Second, since the tube is so tight and barely streches out, every time I do stretch it out the vaccuum comes charging into me and the bottom hook where the cord wraps smacks into my leg. I have bruises there from the hook slamming into me.I have spoken to support and they simply said hmmm. I love my Dyson for my wall to wall car
