V12 detect battery

Hello everyone! I love my V12 Detect slim vacuum but not being able to buy a battery is getting a bit ridiculous. I signed up for them to notify me a year or more ago when the vaccum first came out. I also used my mother's email address and my girlfriends thinking it would increase my odds of getting one. We still have yet to receive an email saying stock was available. I also contacted Dyson by phone and chat, but still no luck. I would recommend this vacuum to everyone if it wasn't for the battery issue. The vacuum cleans so incredibly well! Does anyone know of a last shot chance of getting a battery? I've literally tried everything.

professional model of supersonic hair dryer out of stock….. still

I have been a long time loyal customer of Dyson hair care technology. I’ve been using the supersonic professional dryer for the past 7 to 8 years. I bought the newer model maybe a year ago and it just stopped blowing hot air.My first dealings with support promised a swift Return/exchange however they were out of stock. I’ve since then, spoken with three different people on separate occasions and have been told three separate things.I am struggling to perform the quality of work that I’m used to giving my clients.I’ve also had to spend money on a subpar replacement dryer. Does anyone know what’s actually going on? I feel like there’s more to the story here… the filter definitely seemed like it was going to be an issue with this model.Honesty and transparency would be appreciated as we’re (sounded like there are a lot of professionals in the same boat) stuck here, waiting in the dark.

when can I get a refund for the item which I returned in July 2023?

It’s been almost 9 months since I returned a soft roller cleaner head. Whenever I contacted the customer service via chat, WhatsApp, they said it would be refunded between 24-48 hours. HOWEVER, it’s 25 April of today . Is it reasonable to arrange a refund for 9 months. I literally wanted to know How can I be refunded? They always asked me about the tracking number, case ID, and the receipt, and I sent all of them upon request. Is it possible to get my money back? My case ID is ID 38022693.

dc25 hepa filter not stying in

Help, please! I have a DC 25 which is great. Recently the ball stops rolling and I realised that the heap filter had come loose. We replaced it, but the problem is recurring. The part seems to click in but not stay clicked in. Any ideas please? Many thanks

no update on my exchange

My machine stopped working after 2 months of buying it. I raised an exchange request for it. I sent the product within 2 days and it has been more than a month since I got a update.EVERYTIME I chat or email you guys, there’s just a standard reply “You’ll get an update in 24 hours”. After that? Nothing happens. After chatting about 15 times, you finally decided to send my exchange order but THAT GOT CANCELLED FOR NO REASON. I see the machine is available. But it got cancelled.And now you guys have even stopped replying to my emails.Is the customer service limited only till we’re buying the product? Because it seems like that. When I wanted to buy the product EVERYTHING was pretty smooth and fast. And now nothing is moving.

dyson warranty for airstrait

I am having problem with my airstrait been using it for 2 weeks and today suddenly it won’t work. I ‘ve been using the right which plug and the test and today suddenly it didn’t switch on. the only concern for me is I bought the Dyson airstrait in Dubai and I have moved to Malaysia for now . Can I still get the warranty in Malaysia . I won’t be going back to Dubai anytime soon as my work needed me to be in Malaysia .

Dyson airwrap purchased in the US and doesnt work in the philippines. what to do?

Hi. Im new to the community. My aunt in the US recently purchased a dyson complete airwrap as a gift for us and brought it here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, we cant use it here due to the difference in voltage. Asked dyson philippines customer care if they can swap or recommend any transformer converter but they said that its best to ask Dyson US on it. Is there any particular brand of transformer or coverter available in the philippines that we can purchase to make this work here? I know we can no longer use the warranty since its only valid in the US and we can bo longer return it to US too since the number of days for return already lapsed so we are just exhausting means to make it work here in the Philippines. Any leads eill be greatly appreciated. We just dont wanna wast the money spent on this dyson so we better make this work here.

Hair Dryer Failure

Expensive hair dryer stopped working two months out of warranty. Called customer service who kept me on the phone for 40 minutes and then told me to go to a local Dyson service center. They told me they’ve never seen a problem like mine and they think the power cord needs to be replaced and they don’t have the capability to do it. They said they might be able to later in the year and in the meantime offered me $150 “toward“ a refurbished machine. I found refurbished machines on the Dyson site for $350. So after spending $400 on a hairdryer, I now have to spend another 200 to get a used machine if I still want this dryer . Definitely the classic case of pouring good money after bad. I will go spend that money on another brand first. Very disappointed. Dyson should just send me a refurbished dryer in exchange for mine since they will ultimately fix it and resell it for near the original cost. By the way, why do they have so many refurbished hairdryers? Because the product is deficient!

animal 3 wont rotate. nothing stuck in intake side/pickup

The animal 3 wont rotate. Wife popped the brush head off. Nothing. Took it apart for the easy stuff, container, wand, side, air filter, brush head etc.nothing. It’s all clean (and wobbly which I assume is normal) but neither the brush section or ball section will rotate allowing you to vacuum. I’ve tried calling Dyson, but between that failure and YouTube videos I have found no answers. Suggestions appreciated. Thank you

Absolutely shocking service regarding Airwrap

I bought my Airwrap in Nov 2021. A year later, it stopped working, rang up and I'd to get it repaired, thankfully it was under warranty.It was returned & I presumed the warranty would start from when it was repaired. How wrong was I.Less than 15 months later it developed the same fault. Annoyed at it breaking again, I rang customer services. Basically told its out of warranty, nothing we can do unless you want to pay £99 to have it repaired or 20% off a new one. I've forked out £450 for it to last 3 years and 4 mths,and develop the same fault that was allegedly fixed!!!I've had cheaper hairdryers last longer than the airwrap.I always thought Dyson was a good name in the world of electronics & debated for months about buying an airwrap as its an expensive item & expected paying £450 would mean it was of superior quality & endurance, how wrong was I!!.Absolute waste of money, the customer service is shocking. SV12 cordless vacuum dead, battery shows 3 solid blue lights

Hi folks, our own Dyson vac is behaving but my mother-in-law’s V10 / SV12 has died. No sound at all from it but the battery shows 3 blue lights when the trigger is pulled. Trigger feels normal. I’m not scared of disassembling it. Any suggestions as to what the fault might be, or how to diagnose it further? Cheers.

Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner power button doesn't work

I've had my Dyson for 3.5 years now and the power button stopped working. The trigger is not responsive. I checked with Dyson repair services and to fix the trigger they ask for $130. Dyson itself is so expensive (I bought mine for $500), they use defective parts and to top that to repair it is an additional $130... I know there are so many videos how to fix that but any tips and tricks would be great.

V11 Absolute cyclone replacement cant be found

Hi everyone. I have a Dyson V11 Absolute nickel/blue from 2021 and the cyclone/ handheld unit needs replacing. This is because the electrical connection into the wand is faulty and it no longer turns the brush heads. I’ve contacted Dyson and they sent a replacement which I had to pay for. The replacement doesnt fit my existing battery as it has a different underside to the handle. My model has no protruding elements but the replacement has two little protruding bits. See attached picture. Dyson seem unable to find a replacement cyclone in my style and don’t understand the problem despite me sending the photo. Can anyone help me on how I find a solution? How to prevent/clean vivid color off my Dyson Airwrap?

Hi! I am having an issue with my bright pink/deep magenta hair color transferring to my light Blue/light pink Dyson Airwrap. Does anyone have any Advice on how to prevent this or even how to clean it off? I have tried getting it off with just water, and also using my Precleanse by Dermalogcia but nothing has worked (yes I know Precleanse is a skin cleanser but us Estheticians know it can be used to take off SO much more than just makeup). It could be the type of hair color too, because it’s actually a “permanent vivid color”. It’s Pravana Everlasting Poison Berry. It doesn’t transfer on anything unless it’s wet or heated. I just got a light pink Dyson straightener as well without thinking about this problem before purchasing, and I’m nervous that my color is going to ruin it. if anyone has any suggestions or tips please let me know!!! thank you!

V7 Cordless brush bar - part number query

Hello,I have a Dyson V7 cordless and want to replace the brush bar for my direct drive cleaner, however I am encountering what seems to be the common issue of the 3-prong vs 4-prong.The motor that I have is a 3-prong one, and I can’t seem to find a replacement brush bar for it. I spoke with support however they only told me to buy a new Direct drive cleaner head, which is currently out of stock. Worse Customer Serviced.

I will start by saying that the people I have spoken to have been polite. However the time spend reviewing the account is about 30 minutes and no feedback was not helpful. After 2 weeks of regular calls that lasted over 45 mins I after UPS confirmed that the package was stolen I still didn’t get a refund for the order.I will never order anything directly from Dyson and I will look for any website I can provide this feedback to prevent other from getting the same treatment I received. Furthermore, I requested a call from a supervisor and never received a call back.

Airwrap is not working for my hair texture

I have had the airwrap for about 6 months now, and I am struggling with it. I have thick hair and a lot of it. It’s not curly but more wavy and very frizzy. I have tried different products and methods but the air wrap just leaves my hair poofy and frizzy. I always have flyways that I can’t take. The style also doesn’t last for me. If I use the barrel it only lasts until the end of the day. If I use the round brush again it only lasts until the end of the day. And I can never get my hair to be smooth and shiny like I can with other heat tools. Help!!

Can I use my Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer from Japan in the US?

Hi,I recently bought a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer in Japan and bought it over to the US. When I was talking to the salesperson at the place of purchase, they told me that it should work since the power supply range is the same. However, when I plug in my hair dryer at home it doesn’t work at all. The voltage stated on the hair dryer is 100V 50-60 Hz. Please help!
