Anyone know how to contact Dyson & get a positive result. (Solved)

First post on here so please be gentle.After having major issues with my Dyson Animal Light Ball I was surprised and impressed Dyson replaced the whole machine with the newer Animal Ball model. This was because they didn’t have any idea when the parts I required would be in strock. My original warranty doesn’t run out until next year.When the machine turned up, the small clip which attaches to the power cable and holds it in place didn’t work correctly. Every time I pick the machine up the cable unravels which is way more than annoying.I initially called the main 0800 298 0298 number to (a) request a replacement clip and (b) ask about an adapter for a Home  Accessories Kit I purchased a year or so ago. I have now lost count of the number of times I have called re the clip, the last was a week or so ago when I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. They didn’t. I have also contacted Dyson via WhatsApp which was time-consuming and laughable. Nobody replied to my initial que

Does Dyson have a take back scheme for its cordless vacuum cleaners?

Hello,I have one of the earlier Dyson V cordless vacuum cleaner model that I would like to replace for a new model. I haven’t been able to see if Dyson would take my old device when I purchase the new one, either for a portion of the cost (however much it might be) or just for the handling of the disposal and stewardship of the recycling and repurposing of the materials which would be quite damaging to the environment should they were to end up in a landfill. This is a key criteria informing my decision either to invest again on Dyson or to buy a competitor’s who does have take back scheme at the end of the product’s life. Thanks in advance for any information on the issue.

Dyson V8 animal charging

Hi all, new Dyson user here, big question to get started however. My V8 Animal came from my sister in law in the United States, however I am in Ireland and although I'm somewhat aware of different voltages in both countries I'm not 100% sure how I can go about safely charging my American Dyson in Ireland and would be very grateful for some info and help on the subject, thank you all. Dyson Airwrap - will the US attachments fit the UK wand?

I realize that adapters are not fail-safe (including apparently the Travel Smart by Conair Convert-It-All Power Converter and Worldwide Adapter), and I don’t want to risk my $550 Airwrap.  However, I’m wondering … if I could get the UK 220v wand, would the attachments from my 110v US-version Airwrap fit it?  Anyone know if they are 100% compatible?

Tracking - How do I locate my order?

I am have a similar issue with GLS. Ordered 5/31 says it was delivered today 6/2, I have been at home all day waiting for it to arrive and get the notification it’s out for delivery, then 3 hours later it says my order has been delivered but nothing came.  I made sure to work from home today because I was nervous my $500 vacuum might get stolen from my front door and what do you know it never made it in the first place. I am really frustrated, I needed this because I am about to move and needed a good vacuum to help clean the place before I leave, now it’s not going to get here and I’m questioning why I even ordered in the first place. I can’t believe Dyson doesn’t seem to care at all ( at least their customer service people don’t care ).  If Dyson can’t ship me my vacuum in a timely manner (before I move in 5 days) then I don’t really want it and this whole process makes me not want to even support Dyson.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

US Shipping Issues

I know a lot of people have had shipping issues on here, but I don’t know what the resolution ends up being for most of them.  I ordered a V15 Detect over 10 days ago, it was shipped via GLS with “next day delivery”. GLS tracking shows that they received the package that day, it arrived in my city, and then disappeared. Every day GLS would just “reschedule” the delivery to the next day, over and over for a week straight. I contacted them multiple times and never got any answers.  I also submitted requests to Dyson multiple times and have never gotten any response. Finally I bit the bullet and sat on hold with Dyson for almost an hour to speak with someone. They told me that they could see the GLS issue, and they would go ahead and send me a new one via UPS. They told me that I would receive the confirmation and UPS tracking within 24-48 hours. Well, guess what! It’s been over 48 hours and I’ve gotten nothing! No update of any kind on my orders page either.  Would love to know what the

Customer Service Feedback!

I have been waiting for a canister replacement for my Dyson V15 Detect for over two months. I was told by one customer service rep a couple of weeks ago that if the canister was still out of stock, they would ship me a brand new vaccum and I would receive a label to then send the other one back. Sounds fair, right?  Well, today I was told I would have to send the defecrtive one back first and then they would ship me an new one!  This is totally not right! So, Dyson may not trust me, but I sure don’t trust them to honor their part of the deal, especially after all the bad reviews I’ve read!  Whatever happened to making the customer happy? I’ve been waiting 2 months for a vaccum I can use and this is the worst service ever. All I want is to recieve what I was promised and then you will get your defective vaccum back. After purchasing 3 Dyson vaccums over the past several years, this is how I get treated!

Dyson Service Complaint

I recently had a very frustrating experience with your company. On 28/11/2022, I purchased the V11 vacuum cleaner through Official Website whatapp customer service during the Black Friday event. Unfortunately, your service has not performed well. because Over the past three months, I contacted customer service many times and was told that the item was in stock, but I was always told to wait for delivery. I am disappointed because the service was not performed correctly; Until today I contacted customer service to inquire about the order, customer service informed me that there is stock, but I have to re-order and pay a higher price for the purchase of this item again! that it's in stock, why can't you accept my previous order and ship it to me? I think I have been neglected before, resulting in me not receiving my item, and now I have to buy it again at a higher price. Why was my replacement denied??

Hi! My husband bought me my hair dryer last Christmas 2021, I have a warranty until Christmas 2023. It stopped working I did everything I could, so I reached out and they were completely out of stock for a few months, finally was able to send it back in. went through UPS unfortunately my town only allows mail to be sent to USPS, so to be safe I used that address. Well it was delivered while I was on a road trip and never received my “slip” to pick up my package and USPS says they don’t have it. One customer service agent said “we can change the address to your physical” so we did, nothing. Next agent “let’s have you pick it up at a UPS store please provide their address locally” I did, nothing. Then it got escalated and I just received an email that my return/exchanged was denied, my husband and myself are furious and I have proof on my UPS tracking that it NEVER came to my USPS it stayed and says “delivered” in the wrong town. How do I escalate this more, I have all email proof and ch

Shocking Customer Support

Hey Dyson - why can't you join together your customer support and deliver a half decent service for a product under warranty.  3 times support has been cancelled by an automated process.  But without telling the customer.  20 days with a vacuum and still Dyson unable to help.  Have been promised a call back by Complaints department - they can't even make that happen.  What an awful support system

Stolen Package - What should I do?

I purchased a dyson supersonic blow dryer my 3rd one and was robbed on my birthday I was suppose to receive it but I never did and no signature was required:(and dyson was quick to not help me at all!!!.I'm so disappointed 😞  they declined my claim In less then a hour…Any suggestions what I can do?

Can I get an update on my order here?!

Last Friday (21 Apr) I ordered a part for a Dyson V6.On Saturday (22 Apr) I received an email stating that the order was being processed and that I would shortly receive a tracking number from Royal Mail.Since then nothing.Tried emailing to the email address given in the order conformation only to receive a message stating that the address wasn’t monitored and I wouldn’t get a response.So I tried the telephone. Just got cut off each time.Not impressed.Thinking maybe I should just request a chargeback and buy elsewhere… :-(How does one get a status update for an order…?

Price is going from $399 to $549 when checking out

The Animal 3 Complete is $399.99 when added to the cart.  When I check out it becomes $549.99.To avoid confusion it really should be more clear that that price requires the affirm financing.

Poor Customer Experience

I have done a lot of business with Dyson over the years having purchased hair dryers, styling tools, air humidifier/purifier’s, and many, many vacuums. I have never returned a product, ever. I had purchased two vacuums to give as Christmas gifts along with two docking systems.The products were delayed, delayed, and delayed, even though I ordered them in November. Needless to say they did not arrive in time for the Christmas holiday. My delivery arrived sometime in January and Dyson sent the wrong docking systems. Unfortunately, my mother had to have emergency surgery in January..with that said I was not able to open the docking systems until most recently and it was then that I recognized that Dyson shipped me the incorrect products. I contacted Dyson to see if I could return the two docking systems as they were still in the box, and as I was not looking for my money back, but instead a credit to use back at Dyson..I could not believe how I was treated.It took five phone calls to Dyson

Dyson Korean Service Centres Feedback

I live in Seoul, South Korea. I have used the Dyson service centers here for repairs but it has been terrible. The service centers have been outsourced so they are not operated, or managed by Dyson. There is a Dyson phone center which connects you to the outsourced service centers. However, other than transferring your call, Dyson is unable to help you in any other way.  Dyson is unable to answer questions about the repair service, or even the service centers themselves.I have been to the outsourced service centers and it has been a terrible experience. The service is extremely poor, they have been dishonest about quotes, they will not give you a date by which you can expect repairs to be done unless you push them. In my case, when I asked when the repairs would be done, the technician simply said “I don’t know”.I’m wondering if Dyson has the same model of outsourcing service centers in other countries or is this unique to Korea? I’m looking forward to hearing about Dyson repair servic

I bought the air purifier and less than 24 hrs the price dropped - How can I get a refund?

I bought this on the Malaysian website on the 6th March and the price was dropped from RM2899 to RM1799 and have been trying to get a refund or return the goo#ds but all I have been getting is a standard answer, it seems Dyson does not care as much as they claim to have a great customer relationship, I asked to escalate if she could not give me a better answer and put herself into my shoes. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)

Negative experience with PayPal - I do not recommend using it!

It seems that Dyson in 2023 although having PayPal plastered on the payment page. If you attempt to use pay in 3 Dyson will NOT confirm the order correctly and you never receive the product and payment never happens. Even thought you have confirmation from PayPal AND Dyson sitting in your email. Just wasted 3 days and 2 attempted orders to figure this out for them. Terrible service again. I was only trying to buy a replacement vacuum. The same one that I already have that fell apart after 2 years with poor quality plastics breaking in lots of areas. Dyson CPAP/BiPAP Design Challenge

It is my humble opinion that the lack of a Dyson CPAP/BiPAP on the world market is a mistake.During the Pandemic, Dyson and other companies rallied to produce respirators to alleviate the shortages at hospitals around the world. CPAP’s are similar machines that were in some cases able to be repurposed into respirators themselves.This forum’s purpose is to convince Mr. Dyson and his company that there is a need for his brand of innovation and a huge demand for these devices so that the world may finally rest easy!Please reply with your messages of support; what you like and dislike about your current/past CPAP machines, and what you want to see in a Dyson CPAP.

Dyson made it so hard to return, and it takes forever to get a response

I submitted a return request on 2/18, and I haven't heard back from Dyson since then. The email said it takes up to 48 hrs to process and I will get a response from Dyson, but now it has been DAYS and no response yet for my return request. Dyson did a good job of being silent. I have also been trying to call via the phone but my call just got hang up automatically after a few miniutes! It is such a waste of time! If Dyson does not improve their customer support, there is no reason for me to keep buying Dyson products any more because it is just a bad experience and a big pain to go through supporgt and post-order service.

dyson not working in the US

So I actually need some helpi have a Dyson that I have purchased in india and now I have completely shifted to the US. Unfortunately the Dyson isn’t working here and I know it’s due to the voltage issues. I spoke to the customer care and they instructed me to visit any nearby Dyson show room and that they would help me trade it. But they instead told me that they stopped doing the trade option since 2020. So I am just stuck with the most expensive product without even using it. so please you guys help me out with some or the other option.
