Dyson Airwrap - US model doesn’t work in Europe (Armenia)

Hello My name is Milena I bought a Dyson from America. Now I’m in Armenia here voltage is 220 but Dyson need 110v My question How can you help me to solve this problem. And you’re adding a traveling bag for what? If I can’t travel because of the voltage problem. I’m sad ))))

Dyson hair dryer keeps shutting off

My hair dryer turns on for seconds and then shuts off. I have checked and cleaned the filter, there are no issues with the cord or outlet. I store the dryer in a safe, cool place. I purchased my Dyson hair dryer 3 years ago and in the last month I can’t use it to dry my hair due to the constant shutting off. This should last more than 3 years.

When using the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, there are two key reasons curls can sometimes drop out prematurely.Trying to style hair that’s already dry. Using the wrong barrel for your hair type, which may prevent a firm and lasting hold.In both cases, curls can end up loosening and dropping out more quickly than expected. Thankfully, our team of dedicated hair care experts have come to the rescue with their Golden Rules for curling with the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, which should help you achieve a longer lasting curls. Our initial advice would be -Always begin with damp hair, and then make sure your curled hair is completely dry before you switch off. A damp curl won’t hold! Finish each curl by holding the cool shot button for 5 to 10 seconds. This helps set the shape and style. If you have particularly fine or straight hair, the 40mm/1.6inch barrel will probably create more of a blow-out style, rather than a curl. Dyson Supersonic Overheating even after cleaning filter

What else can I do to prevent overheating and power off after ~15 seconds even after cleaning the filter?  This is a 3-4 year old Dyson Supersonic. After running for a short period it shuts off and has 3 flashing red lights.

Airwrap attachments - Which are the best?SPOTLIGHTED POST

Heya everyone! I got the Dyson Airwrap in November, and I’ve only really used the smoothing dryer and the 30mm barrel. These are by far my favourite. I’ve not really tried using the other barrels, but feel like I'm starting to miss out.Is there any benefit to using the other barrels? Which attachments do others use the most?Pics welcome! 😁

Dyson Supersonic - Loud CLANK and then switched off - Any ideas?

Hi,I have a brand new Supersonic (three days old) and my girlfriend was drying her hair this morning (used it for the third time or so). It was on maximum heat.After less than a minute it stopped blowing, the LEDs were blinking, then it clacked and the dryer turned off. It does not turn on again and does not show any sign of life, no LED, nothing. Can this less than a minute on highest temperature already lead to the dryer switching itself off due to overheating? Seems a little short. Thanks

North America Airwrap in Portugal - Have I damaged it by using a universal adaptor?

Hello, I’m currently travelling in Portugal from N. America. I brought a universal adaptor, plugged in my airwrap, tried to turn it on, it did not turn on or make a noise or do anything at all.I understand now the universals adaptor won’t work or there’s mixed answers… Did I already damage my Airwrap?

Where to purchase an airwrap that works in mainland Italy (EU)?

Hello.  I live in the US and have been a proud airwrap user since launch.  I’m about to start a series of trips to Sicily and will be very busy when i am there.  Is it possible to purchase an airwrap that will work on sicily and have it shipped to me in the US?  Where can I purchase an airwrap in eastern sicily.  They are not in stock at Sephora there.   Thank you

Airwrap complete long gift edition - issues with the firm smoothing brush

HelloI bought my Dyson Airwrap about two months ago. I used the firm smoothing brush two times, and it literally ripped out. My hair is straight and long. I thought that problem was my hair. I used the soft smoothing brush for my mother’s hair (her hair is short), and I realize that it is going to rip out as well. I talked with the place where I bought the item about this issue, and he told me it was impossible. I sent him the brushes back; he checked them, and a month later he sent me one new firm smoothing brush. I just used it twice, and the result is the same. I watched millions of videos everyone use it the way i used…. What should I do? What is wrong with it? Does anyone have the same problem?

Hello, I am using my hair straightener always in 210 degrees. Even when I use it, I put it to charge but the battery becomes dead in around 50 min. Is this normal or a problem of my machine?

Hello! My name is Sanzhar and I am writing to you regarding Dyson airwrap styler. I hope that you will help with the problem. The thing is that I ordered the styler on the official site Dyson.com (USA), because in Kazakhstan there are a lot of fake stylers and once I bought the fake version of Dyson and to avoid that problem again I ordered from the official site. I received the styler and yesterday I unboxed it. It turned out that because of the voltage differences Dyson does not work in Kazakhstan. I contacted with Dyson live chat and they said that it is my fault that I ordered from Dyson (USA). I insisted on saying that they must have a warning that says that it is not compatible in other countries at the process of payment stage.  I searched for the same problems and found out that Revana Aliyeva had the same problem. Airwrap Shipping Box

I received my Airwrap today and apparently they shipped it in its original box which raises some concerns. The box itself is flimsy, each end was secured with only one piece of tape, and you can clearly see what the item is. This box and the item itself could have easily been damaged or stolen.Basically, the item should've been placed inside an actual shipping box with protective inserts such as bubble wrap or something and a general UPS shipping label.

the multistyler is crimping my hair!

Hi all. For the past three time.ive curled my hair with the big curler my hair hair has been crimping. In the grooves of the roller my hair is almost copying that! Not sure what I'm.doing wrong, I have fine blonde hari and my hairdresser friend said its burning my hair like.it did hers!

Dyson Airwrap constantly stopping after following maintenance recommendations - Any suggestions?

I very regularly clean the filter and follow recommendations for maintaining my air wrap, however I am seeing intermittent problems, stopping whilst drying. So much so that I have to divert to my old hairdryer to finish drying.

Special edition Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler Complete Long

I am outraged by this company and this service. I bought the Special edition Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler 4 months ago in Europe. After 3 months, I moved to the USA. Due to the difference in voltage and sockets, I was unable to use my styler. Although the styler is a thing that should be adapted for travel and I did not receive information before the purchase that it can be used only in the country of purchase. In addition, the company prohibits the use of voltage converters and the result is a dead device in another country. I contacted the representatives of Dyson Denmark, where I bought it. They could not help and sent me to the US agents. After I spoke with them, they informed me that they do not do international exchanges and advised me to buy a new styler with a 20% discount as "Owner Rewards". They also offered to contact the service center, where they assured me that they would help me. In the service center, to which I drove for 1.5 hours, they told me that they could not help

Dyson Airwrap produced in Netherlands not working in USA - Feedback

I am in USA for a week and brought my dyson airwrap with me which is produced in Netherlands. I orderd an electricty converter from Amazon, but then I (luckly!) realized that it will not work! And confirmed this with the comments in this page.I paid that amount of money to Dyson, because I travel a lot and need some comfort with my hair! I am very very much disappointed! Dyson Airwrap - International use - I cant believe Dyson doesn't make clients aware!

Good day Dyson TeamMy husband has purchased the limited edition Dyson for my birthday this year.I wanted the Vinca Blue Rose but it was sold out in the UK so my husband purchased it in Italy. I was so excited as it was the perfect gift. 2 months later I received a work promotion and we are both moving to New York. I took my Dyson to New York this week and realised it doesn't work in the USA. I was so disappointed that I couldn't use it. I just got my Dyson, and now I won't be able to use it anymore, due to the product not working in the US.I understand the difference in voltage, but I believe that DYSON should take responsibility for notifying clients about this, before purchase. We live in global world, anyone that can afford a £500 hair care product is surely traveling.  I’m so disappointed by this fine print. Your technology advantage will not last long. As consumers we always remember how we were treated when we needed reasonable customer service.please do not bother by explaining

Interested to hear if anyone actually got the free upgrade attachment offer for the Airwrap? The comb attachment was offered free for customers but it was never available, put in my notify me request and never heard anything. Terrible Return Experience - Refund Still Pending

I returned my Dyson super sonic blow dryer almost a month ago and have not been able to get a straight answer from anyone about when I will actually get my refund.  I received an email on March 6th stating that it was received at the warehouse and my refund will be processed in 7-10 business days.  It’s been over 14 and all anyone will tell me is that I need to wait.  I have never had such a rotten experience with any company, especially not one as well known as Dyson.  I just want a straight answer of when I will get my money back?!?

Anyone know how you can buy an airwrap in the US that will work in Europe? I'd like to get one before I leave, not spend time shopping over there. I absolutely HATE that these machines aren't dual voltage.

Do Dyson offer a temporary exchange of Dyson Airwrap when traveling overseas?

Hi! My name is Claudia Aranda from Peru. I currently live in US as a student. I owned a Dyson Airwrap and before buying it I did some exhaustive research about the product. My main concern was the problems with the different voltages among US and the countries I am regularly traveling to. However, when I raised this concern to an agent in the Live Chat he mentioned that I could travel to the country I want, and if there’s a Dyson Demo Store there I could bring my Airwrap for a temporary exchange with a local Airwrap that could function in the country I am. We that in mind, and continue and purchased the Airwrap knowing that I could have that support when traveling. However, now that I am traveling to Italy for a relative wedding, the customer center of Italy said to me that he had no idea about this possibility. I am stressed right now as I need the Airwrap to style myself and my family for the wedding. Can you please confirm with me that I can temporary borrow the product in Italy lea

Airwrap - Poor customer service

I have officially purchased three of their air wraps and all of them have stopped working within a month of purchasing them. I just got the latest one and it stopped working in the whole exchange process is extremely long they're return policy is awful their customer service is off of nothing is catering to their customers, I spent $800 each time I purchased one of these and apparently I didn't learn the first time the second time or the third time but I would advise anyone to avoid Dyson all together because there warranty and their exchange process is robbery honestly. I have tons of dyson products and I am extremely disappointed in everything they stand for at this point I would never purchase another Dyson product again
