Why is my Dyson V8 vacuum's cleaner head making scraping noises

We have a Dyson V8 that is only 7 months old; it’s used in a Pharmacy tea room. The machine is used by numerous people and somehow overnight it now is making a scraping noise on the floor. Has anyone had this happen ? I’m trying to work out the problem with no knowledge of the machine.

cyclone v10 serial number

Cannot remove screws on cyclone to get at serial number. The screws are too tight. Are serial numbers elsewhere on vacuum?

Question about painting parts for Dyson Gen5

Hi!First of all - welcome :)My equipment is Dyson Gen5 Detect Absolute and I honestly admit that although the vacuum cleaner is very nice, I am disappointed with some elements of workmanship.Under the filter there is a purple cover with red stripes. The stripes fall off by themselves and I wonder what your solution is... But there is also a problem with the purple cover. Can you recommend me a good covering marker, available e.g. on Amazon with shipping abroad, with which I can paint over the scratches on this cover and possibly on the purple tube itself?By the way, does anyone know when a low reach adapter for vacuuming under furniture will be available?Many thanks for every answer!

Switch out Dyson Airwrap US for India

Hi,I need to switch out my Dyson Airwrap that I purchased in the US for an Airwrap purchased in India as I am moving countries. We don’t buy such expensive electronics for them to not work in different countries. can anybody help please? Product is still under 2 yr warranty and located in SF.

Exchange issues with my Airwrap and Support Team

About a week ago I called Dyson, about my Airwrap I have bought for my girflriend while i was in the USA, and now that valentine day was coming out i just took it out the package to test if it works before giving it to her but only a white light was blinking so i called Dyson support team, and she said i can just send you guys my US version one and you will exhange me the EU version one for free of charge.. I shipped the airwrap the next day and some days passed and it was delivered and i waited 2 days like Dyson Support team said its time for proccessing the packages, and then i called Dyson Support team again since there was no update in the email and now Dyson Support Team said that there was never an option of free exchange devices and he said that i have to pay a Fee for Servicing even though its just a simple exchange since my AirWrap was brand new, and i was very very confused and i didnt know what to do, some time next the guy from the Support team was becoming angry at someon

Waiting over 10 weeks for a refund.

Why do I get the feeling that Dyson simply tell lies when they promise a refund. They collected my machine on the 14th August and received it on the 15th August. They then advised it has been repaired and sent to the wrong address. Then they offered me a V15 to replace a robotic hoover???? Since then they have promised me 7 times a refund and advised me to wait 3-5 days 7-10 days 10 -14 Days. They have emailed me promising me a refund but still yet am I to receive one. I have case numbers I have my account details which has been given to them numerous times. I see now they have closed down the Whatssapp customer service. Anyone had any luck getting a refund?

Real complaints procedure?

How do you get any customer service from Dyson? I have made at least 10 phone calls and used the digital assistant twice but there is no way to actually officially complain. Has anyone found an email address to complain about the poor customer service because complaining to customer service about customer service is always destined to failure. I appear to be stuck in a spiral of promises to act with nobody doing anything and there is no-one to complain to about it!

DYSON Fan - AM06 "Self Rotate" when it's not Turn On.

Hi, Dyson Fan UsersAnyone encounters this issue before - Fan “Turn” or “Rotate” by itself when it’s not turn on.I had contacted DYSON Customer Service, but they could not do anything (Main reason - Warranty expired)It’s not whether the Warranty is still valid or not, but is it safe to use it? or when no one at home, will this cause Fire Hazard?Singapore DYSON Customer Service only consider “COST” if they need to check it as Warranty Expired (They cannot determine the Cost until they confirm it!) Hope DYSON could support it.

PH: complaint on poor aftersales and spare parts availability

Being a top brand and of high value of product lines, it came to attention the downside of providing poor aftersales services.Had my vacuum V11 checked as of 29 December 2023 and with a note that replacement is likely to come in the Philippines by end of January or February with a promise to contact me when the main body replacement arrived. No updates were made until I asked this 11 February. The respond, I received was this: "Hello, Please be informed that we just got an advice from our overseas manufacturer that the new tentative arrival of the parts for V11 units will be by 1st week of April. The reason is that they have a slowdown in the process on the quality assessment of the parts. We are on constant follow-ups and coordination with our supplier. We will inform you about the outcome of the process and rest assured that we will be prioritizing your unit once the parts arrived. Thank you for the patience and understanding." Wool loop carpet - Dyson V12

I have a new wool loop carpet and I’ve been told that I can’t use a beater brush head on it.Apparently on the Dyson V12 you can’t turn the beater brush off, is this correct?Which head should I use without damaging my new carpet?They recommend using a suction head only - does this exist on the V12? Or do I need to buy a new vaccum? Given it cost £500 I’m hoping there is a solution with my current machine!

Start allergy after buying Dyson PH04

Hi everyone from cold Russia. I already bought Dyson PH04 Purifier at Saturday, and after lunch it start very strong allergy, my nose is clogged.Two days later my sympathy had not changed and I was forced to turn it off. What do you recommend doing? What is the reason for this reaction of the body?I bought this cleaner on the contrary to combat spring allergies, which will begin in about a month. But it turned out the other way around: the device itself began to cause allergies.

New V11 stuck on 70%

Hello everyone,I have an issue with first charging of V11, is stuck at 70% (keep it for more then 48 hours). I am not using a dock and it looks to be charging but not changing. I can`t even drain battery, LCD says “Full charge before first use” . Im yet to use this.Please help!

Can Dyson vacuum cleaner be used internationally with varying voltages? Specifically brought in Japan and use in India

Hi I plan to purchase a Dyson vacuum cleaner in Japan (which is on 110v) and use in India(220v). Can the concerned confirm if using an adaptor or charger would suffice or if this won't work entirely. Should the battery pack be purchased locally in India? Thanks

Animal Origin

I have just bought an Animal Origin and have a couple of questions. I am based in the UK.Is this an animal 2, 3 or as the name suggests have I bought the first edition of this upright. On my previous dyson, a DC07 when the dirt bin was empty you could see the new dirt swirling around the bin, like a cyclone. On the Animal I have just bought it doesn’t. Used once for 10 minutes and then emptied. No blockages. Is the air watts posted on the Dyson website for this vacuum correct. It seems extremely low at 90AW at the hose and only 68AW at the cleaner head. Guidelines would dictate the suction should be much more for a mains powered vacuum and is considerably less than the figures quoted for the Animal 2 and 3 which range from 245AW to 305AW. I am not very impressed with this vacuum which although is useable on all floors it seems to lack the suction that my previous Dyson had and seems inferior to my other vacuum which is another popular brand.

Hello,is it possible to hoover, clean or wash the for the HP02 air purifier?Feels like a waste to buy a new one every few month, especially when you have more than one units. If cleaning or washing can be an option, any advise what is the best chemicals to use? Should be better for environment as well to reuse them. Thanks ahead!

TP09 Software update has stopped sensors working

My TP09 auto updated to version ECG2PF.07.03.000.0020 but all sensors have stopped working apart from temperature but that is also incorrect as it’s reporting -2. You can see the severe drop after the update was applied. Is anyone else seeing this?

Refund Help

Hi, i am having problems getting my refund back, its been 17days now and dyson told me 14 days which is breaking there policy . Now there telling me i have to wait another 14 days for my refund . They promise call backs and emails but yet i have none, and there customer service is shocking. Need help getting money back
