What are the differences between Dyson's UK corded upright vacuum range?

Hello Dyson Community,Please can you help.I am looking at the Dyson Ball Animal Origin vs the Dyson Ball Animal and had a question to ask.Does one have more suction power than the other? If not what are the reasons for the £50 price difference?I can see that the Origin model has a longer cord length, is heavier with a larger capacity, but is that all? Corrale sleepmode

I’ve just had a frustrating chat with Dyson and am hoping I get more useful replies on here!I have just bought the Corrale straightener and discovered when curling my hair that it goes into sleep mode 5 minutes after I switch it on, even though I’m using it, and laying it down on the heatproof mat between each curl (but only for a matter of seconds each time). This doesn’t happen when I straighten my hair, holding the straightener horizontally (rather than holding it vertically for curling). I contacted Dyson and they said it was faulty and sent me a replacement but that does exactly the same thing. I’ve tried asking them if they’re sure that it shouldn’t be happening but they just keep telling me that they’ll send another one and don’t answer my question! Has anyone experienced the same thing with sleep mode because at this rate I’m going to end up with a houseful of straighteners (they still haven’t sent me the label to return the first straightener!)Thank you for any help you can gi

sensor discrepancy?

Do they have different sensors esp VOC? Or it’s something wrong with my unit ? In the same room the little guy is always 0 and the bigger one is always 1-4 .  I know the little guy react to VOC but it’s not so sensitive . Thought ? do they use different sensors ?

How can I get help with my Dyson V6 Fluffy+?

Background. We bought a Dyson cordless eight years ago now. It has never worked properly (i.e inefficient and just not very good); and, owing to my illness (I suffered a serious stroke), we never pursued the question off returning it - we had other priorities. We have telephoned the published ‘help’ numbers and we have approached Dyson representatives at ‘publicity stalls’ in local shopping centres. One such rep gave me a new telephone number but that was no help at all - I think no-one answered. So it was easier for my wife to continue using a defective machine while I was in and out of hospital, than throw away something which only worked after a fashion.What we want. We shall be buying a new vacuum soon but will not be considering a Dyson unless Dyson responds promptly and helps sort our problem out. In the meantime, the vacuum needs a complete service and a replacement missing item which slots into the top - it’s shaped a bit like an ice cream cone and is of a similar size. If the

V8 filter not sitting properly

Hi allThe filter (B) on my V8 is clicking into place fine but a gap has opened between the filter and the body, which sits uncomfortably on my hand and blows air that sometimes feels like its getting hot.  Can anyone advise if anything can be done.  Machine is fine otherwise.

my hair hasn't taken to the Airwrap and the hair dryer

Hi my name is Joan,  I am 67 years old. I am very lucky to have both Dyson products, but they just don't work on my fine hair.  I have tried everything, yes my hair goes straight when I use them but within just an hour or two my hair has gone back to its own curly style. What am I doing wrong?

Loop Wool - Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum

Hi, is there a definitive answer on using our Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum With our new Loop Wool carpet. It seems the standard fittings will damage the carpet (according to the fitter). Is there an additional  ‘no brush’ tool or such that people can recommend? Thanks.

Dyson Corrale straightener - losing charge quickly

Hi, I’ve seen a few other conversations on here with the same issue so I’m hoping someone can advise how it has been resolved.  My Corrale straighteners are just over 2 years old (Christmas gift 2021) and have started losing charge. Sometimes it’s just a couple of minutes before they switch off.  I know they’re out of 2 year warranty but I’m hoping Dyson have a decent repair programme!  I do like my straighteners but can see me going back to GHD’s.  What are others experience? Thanks!

Dyson Big Ball Multi Floor - Whistling

Is/has anyone experienced the high pitched 'whistling' due to the air leakage past the seals between the handle and the extension tube on the Big Ball Multi Floor? It seems to be due to wear of the joints during normal use over a period of time. Are replacement and more robust seals available?

Dyson made it so hard to return, and it takes forever to get a refund

My return package arrived at the Dyson warehouse on January 12th, and per the email I received that day, I was informed that the refund process would take 7-10 business days. However, after waiting for 14 business days (today is Feb 1st), I have yet to receive the refund.Upon contacting the customer service today, I learned that my refund had not even been processed yet. It was only after my phone call that the refund process was initiated, and now I am being told to wait an additional 7-10 business days.This level of service is unacceptable and does not meet the standards I expect from a reputable company like Dyson. I will never order through Dyson.com, this is definitely the worse experience.

App pairing issues

I have 4 Dyson fans that cannot connect ti the internet anymore. I’ve tried resetting to factory default, restarting my modem. Deleted the app and reinstalling. Nothing is working. While the app connects to the machine it spins forever and gets stuck on this page.  I’ve also turned off ipv6 on my internet. Very frustrated that this issue persists. Dyson please fix this or at least try to find out what the issue is. I will not be buying another machine if there isn’t a solution to this.

Similar problem with the Dyson 360 Eye connection with MyDyson app failed but its for the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Formaldehyde purifying fan heater (Nickel/Gold)I’ve moved the device til its almost sitting on the modem and no I’ve not reset the modem as its working just fine for every other device including the apps on my phone.Slow connection speed?? I think not baby puppy

Return Problem - not sure what to do next

In December, I placed an order for 2 seperate dyson vacuums.  Both were returned in December and the UPS tracking numbers confirms delivery back to Dyson on 12/22 for one vacuum and 12/29 for the other.  I still have not received a refund after multiple phone calls (waiting up to 45min to 1hour to talk with someone), 2 different chats and an email.  I’ve been told they are starting the process and I should get my refund in 7-10 days, I’ve been told I’ll be emailed after they talk to a different department - none of that has happened.  I don’t know who to contact next or how to get help.  It’s been 6 weeks and no progress made.  I share tracking numbers and details each time I call, chat or email.  My dyson account doesn’t even accurately reflect the two vacums that were purchased or that the return process has started.  Help!  How do I get in touch with someone who can actually process the return and refund my money.  I’m so disappointed in my experience.  Thank you.

Uninstalling the Gen5 Detect Wall Dock

WARNINGDO NOT BY GEN 5 DETECT IF YOU PLAN ON USING THE  WALL MOUNT. IT CAN NOT BE REMOVED. I have recently purchased two Gen 5 detect cordless vacuums. I purchased the first one a month ago and thought is was so great I purchased a second not knowing about the terrible design in the wall mount. I had my handyman attach the wall mount to the wall for the fist one then I wanted to move it to a different location but waited till the second one arrived to move it. The second gen5detect arrived with the mounting plates together and realized the other can not be removed without destroying the wall completely and the charging cord is stuck. The wall mount started to break when removal was attempted so now I have a vacuum that can not be stored without being down on the ground and does not work because the charger is stuck to the wall.CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE. I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH NO HELP AND MY WALL WILL HAVE TO BE REPAIRED.I want to return them and don'

light cycle app is very inconsistent in connecting to the light

The android app for the light cycle lamps is very poor at reliably connecting to them. The only way I can get it to work much of the time is to clear the cache and forcibly close the app and then relaunch it.  If I use it once on Monday. I invariably have to open it, clear the cache, forcibly close it, and then relaunch it to connect it on Tuesday. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Taking the airstrait in the cabin on the plane ?

Hi Thanks for adding me to the group.I received my airstrait today and my hair feels so soft. Can I take my airstrait in my hand luggage  or does it need to go in my booked in luggage ?My hair is in much better condition since getting my Dyson appliances and I am looking forward to learning more .

How can I get a single screw for my V11 without being charged £80 by Dyson!

I have a V11 cordless dyson - the brush head ‘’ball’’ has lost a screw so its a bit loose - rang Dyson customer services twice and they say they dont send spare screws but insist I buy a new brushead for £80 - a) thats a rip off and b) this makes a mockery of their environmental policy - it would be so much more environmentally friendly to send a spare screw… Any suggestions welcome! Worst customer service

UPS lost my package on December 1st, approved mt claim on December 8th. It has been over a month now and I still have not received my refund from Dyson. I’m never buying anything ever again from a company that is just trying to suck people out of their money. Had I known that Dyson’s customer service is so bad, I wouldn’t have even taken their product for free.

My v11 absolute extra the two plates that fit on lugs  on the cleaner head,high torque xl have broken off part nos 970426-01, this happened back in November,I have tried to get a new cleaner head but have found the chat and Dyson phone line to be no use what so ever,they make me promises to get back to me with an answer but each time they lie. The part as I have been told is no longer available this makes my £650 purchase I made two and a half years ago totally useless as my house has mainly carpets. Can any one help.

Raise a complaint

Good evening  I would like to put in a complaint to express my disappointment on the service that I received from Dyson.  I was given an incorrect email address ukresolution@dyson.com and I could not find an email for non-business customer support, so could you kindly forward this email to the relevant team please.   I placed two orders on 15/11/23 which I wish to return.  Unfortunately I am having real difficulty to return the items.   Order number: 1505142009 placed on 15/11/23 Order number: 1505141016 placed on 15/11/23 Return reference: 1505232072 and 1505220184 created 22/11/23, scheduled for collection on 27/11/23, again 7/12/23 and again to 14/12/23, still no show!  I called on 22/11/23, I was informed by your colleague that the items will be collected on 27/11/23 pm and I also did receive a confirmation from Dyson regarding the collection.  However, there was no collection on 27/11/23.  I rang again on 30/11/23, re-scheduled for 7/12/23.  Again with disappointment, no collectio

Supersonic Hairdryer Power Cord

My supersonic stopped working. The filter is clean but the green light on the plug does not appear to be coming on We have tried in several plug sockets and have pushed the test button. The Dyson support page is useless. The email support utterly useless and sent me to the accessories page which had no power cords on it. The phone line is useless over hour wait to speak to no one. I just want to know where I can buy a replacement USA cord for my machine - $650 cost for 3 year use is hopeless if you cannot fix the machine. Very disappointed with Dyson support and seeking any help possible.
