What on earth is going on with customer service?

I have had a V15 Absolute Detect for just over a year, well within warranty, its just stopped working, I did some research and went through all the trouble shooting, even bought a new battery but it seems the main body of this vacuum is no more. I thought it would be easy to get a replacement under the warranty, I’ve reported the issue 3 times so far on live chat, 1 time over the phone with the help desk, all 4 of them tell me the part is ordered and being sent within 3-5 days and an email will arrive confirming, they even give me an order number. I have never received the email confirmation and since October 2023 no parts have arrived and I am still without my vacuum. Is anyone else finding this incredibly shady behaviour with customer support? I feel like they are trying to run out my warranty so I’ll end up paying £160 for the new body I need.

Has anyone else had nothing but problems with refurbished products?

I just bought a Dyson refurbished v11 and Pure Cool DP04. The air purifier showed up not working at all. Wouldn’t even turn on. I called and set up a return. They said the product was in stock and they would send me another as soon as they received it. I mailed it the same day. Haven’t gotten a response about that since. (The package was delivered last week back to the factory). Then, 4 days ago, my vacuum canister broke. The inner ring of it was chipped and apparently wasn’t replaced when it was “refurbished”. I called about that and they told me that they would replace it but the canister is sold out and they do not know when it will be back in.  They said I could mail the vacuum back and then when they receive it, they will mail me another one. Which can take up to 3 weeks, which is ridiculous. The fact that they cant send me a replacement before sending it makes no sense. This brings me back to the air purifier. Dyson and Airthings read different VOC levels

I noticed when kids play in the basement the VOC spikes really high on the airthings monitor. Last night was close to the red zone. I brought downstairs Dyson to check what it has to say but the Dyson VOC showed green. I am very confused. PS: The VOC levels in the basement got worse after we installed a new furnace. The basement window is always cracked opened. If the kids are not in the basement, Airthings reads low VOC

My V6 absolute vacuum cleaner gets blocked at the inlet to the bin

I have dogs & find that the inlet to the bin get blocked very easily with hair & other tiny bits of leaf/twig. I remove the bin, & build up of hair, but it gets blocked again very quickly within a minute or so. I’m spending more time emptying/clearing it that actually vacuuming.

Dyson Airwrap exchange

My airwrap smelled burnt and I had a few days left in the warranty, sent for a replacement on 01/18, Dyson received it on 01/24 and I still haven't received any update about my exchange, it’s been more than 3 weeks, infinite calls and chats and they keep saying that the warehouse team hasn’t update yet, but they are working on it and that I’ll receive an update in 24-48 hours, they said that a few times already and nothing!! It’s really frustrating, tomorrow will be 1 month since the whole process began! Anyone had an exchange replacement and can tell how was, how long it took? Any light? Thank you

Dyson Airwrap doesn't seem to work

 I received a Dyson airwrap for Christmas. However everytime I use it it doesn't seem to straighten my hair. My hair is already volumised and curly. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong?

Still waiting on a refund! Can you believe that? The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Appalling. I’m not sure anybody knows what they’re doing in there! Incredible! Another Google, trust pilot review incoming! Horrendous

Lack of suction

I have a year old  V15 Absolute. It was functioning fine until we had a new carpet laid in our lounge. It literally choked on the fluff created from a new carpet. So I dissembled it ,clearing the main tube in particular. The issue was blockage of the small exit venturi into the collection cylinder. Or so I thought! Clearly it was not capable of doing the job, so I brought out of retirement our heavy old DC04 which dealt with the situation until such time as most of the new carpet fluff was cleared. We bought the new V15 because being in our eighties we found the DC04 increasingly tiring to use.The V15 still can’t handle the new carpet and I find collected dust and grit lodges in the pick up head and doesn’t find its way into the collection cylinder. I have tried the home maintenance options given in the online guide but to no effect. I also keep getting asked to wash the top filter every time I use it which of course I do and ensure it is totally dry before reuse but this clean filter

My V12 comes with a wonky selection button. Do I need to ask for replacement?

I just receive my new V12 cordless vacuum cleaner today. However when I plug it to the wall mounted dock, I notice that the selection button at the back end is not level. Anyone found this issue before or is this likely to cause issues in the future? I’ve tried to adjust the position to see if the button can be leveled, but it just stuck at this position. It function as normally so far but looks a bit annoying.

Corrale sleepmode

I’ve just had a frustrating chat with Dyson and am hoping I get more useful replies on here!I have just bought the Corrale straightener and discovered when curling my hair that it goes into sleep mode 5 minutes after I switch it on, even though I’m using it, and laying it down on the heatproof mat between each curl (but only for a matter of seconds each time). This doesn’t happen when I straighten my hair, holding the straightener horizontally (rather than holding it vertically for curling). I contacted Dyson and they said it was faulty and sent me a replacement but that does exactly the same thing. I’ve tried asking them if they’re sure that it shouldn’t be happening but they just keep telling me that they’ll send another one and don’t answer my question! Has anyone experienced the same thing with sleep mode because at this rate I’m going to end up with a houseful of straighteners (they still haven’t sent me the label to return the first straightener!)Thank you for any help you can gi

my dyson v12 keeps cutting out

When I press the button to start using it it keeps cutting out It takes about 6 attempts to Now  start it then it works fine I have tried a new battery it makes no diff IV cleaned out the filter etc still is doing the same thing Any advice thanks

Has anyone whose Supersonic died received a satisfactory solution - or response- from Dyson?

Hello Everyone,I have read a few comments about Supersonice hair dryers dying shortly after the warranty ran out and had a similar experience.  The mortar on mine died  at around 2.5 years- it just stopped powering on.  I took it to a Dyson repair store and was told that it couldn’t be fixed. They weren’t even allowed to open the hair dryers to look at the motors.  They told me that the lifespan of the hairdryers in typically around  5 years, but mine was only 3- but the warranty was expired.  They said there was nothing that they could do, other than offer me a 20% discount on a replacement.  I find it outrageous that a $500 hair dryer is now trash after such a short period of time. Especially since I only used it 2-3 times a week. I’ve  had other hair dryers last over 5 years for less money and other Dysob products last more than 15 years. As much as that upsets me, the fact that Dyson will only offer a 20% discount on a replacement is infuriating. Dyson regularly offers 20% discount

Air Purifier Hot and Cool wifi password not available due to bought refurbished

I received the Dyson Air purifier hot and cool refurbished as a gift. When trying to connect to it's wifi the customer support told me that the wifi password could not be reset because it still was registered to the original owner. It's refurbished so shouldn't the company have reset this. I have the package which has the password on it, but they state it is registered to the original owner and they can't fix that. What do I do? It was a gift from my sister purchased through Amazon and certified refurbished. I am so frustrated.

v11 vacuum not charging

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me please as I cant find any help anywhere! All of a sudden the charger on my v11 has stopped charging the machine. There isn't lights to indicate the battery is dead.  I did clean the hoover a couple weeks back and I thought it was dry when I put it back together however now I am wondering if maybe that could be the issue. I'd be grateful if someone could let me know please. I do not want to buy a new charger if it's not an issue with the charger I own. Thank you!

Gen5 gasket ripping

Have had this less than a month, this can’t be normal. Has anyone seen this issue before where apparently the gasket is ripping? Is this decorative or should I consider this a functional defect? I’m a bit beside myself not knowing what to think, such an odd design choice to have this delicate material on the canister. Images below, please advise.

I wanted a new Dyson filter, bought a new one and it cuts out on low and medium, but working on high!However, the original Dyson filter that came with the machine works fine on all power settings!Really strange...anyone got the same problem? Thanks!

Dyson airwrap bought in India - Can it be exchanged in US?

I bought my Dyson Airwrap in India and am now permanently moving to United States next month. Due to the voltage difference, my Dyson will not work there (that’s what I have got to know from India store). Please suggest if it can be exchanged in US ? I can carry the products along with me to US and get them exchanged there, if this option can work? These are expensive products and I really want to take them along with me so that I can use them in US. Please let me know the solution?

roller brush not spinning

Roller brush on my DC62 spins only at start of operation. Have gone through all the steps on the Dyson website for troubleshooting, problem still persists. Assuming it will be a new part but, don’t know which one.

Power Issues with my 4 year old V11.. Red Button stuck

Reading the other issues looks like I will need to replace this out of pocket.  My warranty expired 2 years ago and I don’t use my vacuum cleaner that much.  What about a recall?? looks like many people are experiencing this inconvenience for such an expensive vacuum.. Im writing this as I will be on hold for another 45 min
