My V12 comes with a wonky selection button. Do I need to ask for replacement?


I just receive my new V12 cordless vacuum cleaner today. However when I plug it to the wall mounted dock, I notice that the selection button at the back end is not level. Anyone found this issue before or is this likely to cause issues in the future? 

I’ve tried to adjust the position to see if the button can be leveled, but it just stuck at this position. It function as normally so far but looks a bit annoying.

@toadking Thanks for the post. I’ve never seen a V12 with a button problem like that. That button may be able to be looked by a Dyson service center if you’re near one of those. If not, you may contact local support - and the part you will need is the “main body/cyclone”.

Thanks Adam you’ve been really helpful.

We’ve contacted Dyson and was told this is a manufacture fault, so I will get a replacement by tomorrow.
