v8 absolute

Hi 

I am looking to buy a Dyson v8 absolute. Does the new model come with 1 head for carpet and 1 head for hard floors or does it come with 1 head for both hard and soft floors?

To note:

EVERY V8 model will come with a main cleanerhead (which can also be called direct head, or motorhead) - this is your spinning, bristled-head good for BOTH hard and soft flooring).

USUALLY, the “absolute” models ALSO come with the soft head (which can also be called soft roller or fluffy head) - this is your plush, bristle-less head made for picking up larger debris and sensitive cleaning for delicate hard flooring (hard floors only).

You seem to know your stuff! May I ask a question about the V8 Absolute?
 

I like my new v12 detect so much that I purchased a fluffy optic detect head for my V8. I saw some stuff online, people seemed to be saying that it was compatible. The fluffy head doesn’t fit my V8 tube. I guess I was misled, or some wishful thinking!  

So now I have to decide, do I return this fluffy head, or is there a “non-detect” machine that might be compatible?

I think I answered my own question. I tried connecting the fluffy detect head to the end of my V8 tube, and it doesn’t fit. Unless there is a detect head that is bigger, it appears the detect that is only good for the slim models.
