Dyson V8 won’t charge.

Dyson V8 won’t charge or work. Have replaced both battery and now the motor as advised by Dyson customer support. Machine still not working.  Before I spend more money on this, is there a place I can take it and try a different charger?Don’t want to a new charger and it still doesn’t work!

Gen5 Outsize wheels - snapped off

Very surprised that when I searched “dyson direct drive wheel spindle break” to learn that this is design flaw issue. I bought the Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute in january 2024 and today I thought one of my wheels popped off.  Upon closer investigation no, the spindle straight up snapped off the head, while taking the other wheel off to see the extend of the damage, that one broke too.I was under the impression that these are supposed to be great vacuums, and your support it “top notch”.  Well I guess I am about to find out.

Do I need a new battery for my Dyson V6 vacuum?

Dyson V6 Cordless Vacuum After being on charge overnight, it only lasts about 8 seconds on MAX.Then putting it on charge, the charging light stays lit for about 30 minutes, then goes out.I just wanted to check that I need to replace the battery, or whether it might be another issue.Thanks

Dyson Airwrap exchange

My airwrap smelled burnt and I had a few days left in the warranty, sent for a replacement on 01/18, Dyson received it on 01/24 and I still haven't received any update about my exchange, it’s been more than 3 weeks, infinite calls and chats and they keep saying that the warehouse team hasn’t update yet, but they are working on it and that I’ll receive an update in 24-48 hours, they said that a few times already and nothing!! It’s really frustrating, tomorrow will be 1 month since the whole process began! Anyone had an exchange replacement and can tell how was, how long it took? Any light? Thank you

Stains on Dyson Airwrap multi-styler in color blue/blush

Hello! I bought a Dyson verified travel case for my Airwrap and is causing blue stains on the pink part of it, can’t remove them with anything, I thought the case will take care of my Dyson, I just got it on December last year, someone knows if this apply for the guarantee? thank you.

V15 LCD screen not working

Hello all, I just got my new Dyson this week and this evening I started hoovering with it. The screen display was normal for the first five minutes then it just turned grey and white. It didn’t get wet, I didn’t drop it or damage it. Is there an easy fix for this? I have photos if support want to see it. Thank you

V15 new battery long charge time?

Our Dyson v15 appeared to have a battery issue (would not charge at all), so contacted Dyson and they arranged a repair.Received it back yesterday. Plus had an email that stated :Engineer notes: Problem: Pick up issues Cause: Battery damaged Action: Parts replaced and tested **Please fully charge before use**I put it on to charge yesterday afternoon. It has now been well over 24hrs and the battery charge percentage indicator has only got to 75%Is this normal?Seems a very long time!It is going up, which I guess is a good thing - but I fear this is an indication something is still amis...

Air Purifier Hot and Cool wifi password not available due to bought refurbished

I received the Dyson Air purifier hot and cool refurbished as a gift. When trying to connect to it's wifi the customer support told me that the wifi password could not be reset because it still was registered to the original owner. It's refurbished so shouldn't the company have reset this. I have the package which has the password on it, but they state it is registered to the original owner and they can't fix that. What do I do? It was a gift from my sister purchased through Amazon and certified refurbished. I am so frustrated.

V-Ball mount problem

Hi! I’ve got Dyson V11 SV17 vacuum cleaner (W7F-EU-RBK2676A).My V-Ball plastic “bearing” broke (in motorhead), so I decided to order new V-Balls from polish official Dyson Service.To my surprise I got new V-Balls with ball bearing, not plastic “bearings” (I don’t know how it’s called in english - plained bearing?). I made a photo and put in this post. This V-Balls got the same part number as old one (969332-01), but they differ in bearing and a little in size.Service told me that this V-Balls are exchangable, and Dyson no longer produces my “plained bearing” V-Balls.But I can’t mount this new whells to my motorhead. The screw is to short and new wheel doesn’t fit on mounting pin in the motorhead.Do You have any tip how to properly fit new V-Balls? Thank You!

Dyson V11 absolute steering elbow

Hello there. A month ago we bought a Dyson V11 absolute and after a couple of weeks while using the vacuum on a carpet, the steering elbow was automatically releasing as a result for me to clip it back on but it’s like it went loose and if you need to apply small pressure while on a carpet this part keeps releasing itself.Any ideas on how to fix it? Is it covered by some kind of warranty? I bought the vacuum by a local retailer shop. thank you

Dyson V10 cutting off

This is my second Dyson V10 in just 4 months. I had the same problem with both. Runs like normal then power cuts off after a few seconds. Filters are clean and there is no clogs. I was thinking I just had a faulty vacuum the first time around only to have the exact same problem again. I’ve seen countless post of people having this issue. Replace batteries and bodies only to have it happen again. I really like this vacuum because it does a great job when it runs. Is there a real fix before I just return this for another brand?

Battery Life

HiBarely two months ago I bought a new battery for my hand held vacuum. The original one had lasted years and I assumed the replacement battery would also The new battery now only runs for a few minutes before needing to be recharged. When I contacted the helpline I was basically told,  Tough, we don’t guarantee batteries and you’ll have to pay another £65 for a new one   Not those actual words of course but the same message   Really angry that Dyson thinks this is acceptable. I am on a fixed income and don’t have a spare £65 lying around!!  Especially as there is no guarantee that another battery will behave in the same way Anyone else had this problem?  Did you get it resolved?thanks

dyson airwrap

Hi my daughter is moving to Perth Australia, she had purchased the Dyson air wrap in Harvey Norman's. My question is can she use it in Perth as I was informed, she wouldn't be able to use it there. I would be grateful it you could let me know it would save her bringing it. Regards Sharon Flynn

Dyson Detect V15 Submarine Not Supported

The fact that Dyson released this Submarine option just a few months after the Detect V15 was released is beyond ridiculous! Why you can't update the firmware for the existing owners is BS! I own MANY Dyson products & feel cheated by your business practices. Why would I spend another $1k on a vacuum to get the accessory that is supposed to be compatible with the vacuum I already own? Just update the stupid software for us who already purchased the vacuum!

When I press the button to start using it it keeps cutting out It takes about 6 attempts to Now  start it then it works fine I have tried a new battery it makes no diff IV cleaned out the filter etc still is doing the same thing Any advice thanks

Dyson V11 Absolute Battery Spring

Dear community,my name is Klaus and I am a happy user of the Dyson V11 Absolute.There is a small compression spring in the battery for the locking mechanism. This one was damaged for some reason and the battery does not lock anymore into the device.Since I do not want to replace the battery for almost 100 EUR I am looking for replacement of that little compression spring. Can somebody tell me where I can get a replacement part or alternatively the specs (wire diamater, spring diamter, spring length)? Unfortunately the orginal spring got lost, so I cannot measure it myself :(.Thanks in advance!Klaus

My V6 absolute vacuum cleaner gets blocked at the inlet to the bin

I have dogs & find that the inlet to the bin get blocked very easily with hair & other tiny bits of leaf/twig. I remove the bin, & build up of hair, but it gets blocked again very quickly within a minute or so. I’m spending more time emptying/clearing it that actually vacuuming.

Return Nightmare

I purchased two spare parts for my vacuum cleaner more than 2 months ago, on the 26th of September: A main body and a battery. My Dyson had stopped working and following a long telephone conversation with the Call Centre, I was misled by the customer support and ended up purchasing the wrong items. Later on, I found out on my own that the faulty part was neither the main body nor the battery. It was the charger. So I ordered a charger and returned the other two items. Return reference: 1030416660 andReturn reference: 1030416728. (These purchases were made with two different Bank cards. One was made on the phone with the Dyson expert and the other, online.) I never received my money back. I made several calls to customer services, I’ve tried online chat, each time I was told that they did understand the problem and they were going to solve it as soon as they could. They even escalated the case. Case ID: 35417231. The last conversation I had was more than a week ago. Haven’t heard from D

How Do I Get Dyson to Fix Their Mistake and Make My Wife Happy?

Dyson made a mistake and sent me the wrong product. I did what Dyson asked me to do so they could correct that mistake, but I’m still waiting for a response. Below is an email I sent Dyson on December 24th, but I have heard nothing back yet.  Good Evening,  It is unfortunate that you are just sending this response to me, and it does not reflect the fact that I have already returned the incorrect equipment and you received it on December 8, 2023, 13 days after the product was shipped. I attached the shipping notice that you sent me. What is even more unfortunate is that I ordered this product on November 12 hoping to get it by Christmas for my wife. I received and discovered that the wrong product was sent to me on November 26th, and I immediately submitted a return request. On December 6th, after not hearing anything from you, even via email, I called to find out the status. After being on hold for an hour-and-a-half, I was told that your factory put the wrong serial number on a Refurb
