Dyson TP02 – Air quality sensor fault

I’m getting the “Air quality sensor fault” message for my TP02. The machine doesn’t get any temperature or humidity level reading. This doesn’t allow me to turn the machine into the ‘AUTO’ mode from the app. This is a new machine, I just activated the warranty. The problem is very similar to the one described in this post earlier.  I tried all the recommended steps:Turning the machine on and off. Reinstalling the MyDyson app. Removing the machine from the app and adding it back. Returning the machine to it’s factory state.None of these steps helped. I brought my machine to the Certified Dyson Service Center and they weren’t able to help! According to them, they replaced the sensor but the problem didn’t go away “which means that the problem was with the software, not the hardware”. Dyson reference number: 9141096472.

Gen5 Outsize wheels - snapped off

Very surprised that when I searched “dyson direct drive wheel spindle break” to learn that this is design flaw issue. I bought the Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute in january 2024 and today I thought one of my wheels popped off.  Upon closer investigation no, the spindle straight up snapped off the head, while taking the other wheel off to see the extend of the damage, that one broke too.I was under the impression that these are supposed to be great vacuums, and your support it “top notch”.  Well I guess I am about to find out.

Cordless V12 Trade in promotion failure to send return labels

We bought a new V12 Absolute vacuum from Dyson with a £100 trade in promotion to return our old V8.  Despite 3 telephone calls and 2 online chats we have yet to receive an email with the promised return labels.  We have been assured that the email has been sent but 2 weeks later there is nothing.I am now of the belief that this whole recycle and receive £100 cashback is a marketing scam, and the customer service which has on the whole been very polite is of little value when nothing that they tell you is actually being done.Very disappointed with Dyson, their vacuum is great but I have no confidence in the company support.

Worst after sales customer care from Dyson

My Dyson vacuum stopped charging after a year. Dyson refuse to acknowledge how poor this is and how badly it reflects on the company. There is also no complaints department (that says it all!). I managed to get through to a polite person who promises to escalate my complaint and then silence. Ignored. Despite on a number of occasions asking someone senior to call me back.  I have never bought an appliance which only lasts for a year. I am now left with an appliance that doesn’t work and I am being forced to purchase a replacement battery which is super expensive. I feel like u have been scammed. I feel Dyson is an irreputable company with no conscience and absolutely no care for their customers once the money is handed over. I will never by a product from this company again. I never expected this from Dyson but have been burnt and will now take my money elsewhere.

Unavailable Customer Support

I’m trying to connect to customer support via all means, social media, chat, phone, email/form and no one ever replies ! I want to request a return for my product but no response to my return request either. Can someone actually help me ? If that won’t happen within the next hours I’m going to report Dyson for the customer service. It is not the first time that happened.Best regards

complaint - false promises !

Hi - I am trying to get hold of an email address to raise a complaint/progress an ongoing issue. I spoke to Daniel on 26 April regarding a fault with my airwrap (stopping during use and failing to switch back on) after a 39 mins call - which included a video call to diagnose the issue, Daniel agreed to send a replacement (reconditioned) Airwrap. However as they were “out of stock” I would have to wait until they were available again. When I checked on the website a few days later I saw that they were back in stock - so I rang again on 3 May to arrange getting it delivered. However the individual I spoke to knew nothing about my previous call - as there was no record of it!!! They took an action to investigate and get back to me with an update on what’s happening. I have since rang back and now have 2 open tickets:3831828238235011I was told that this issue would be escalated to the manager - and I was told I would have a response in 48-72 hours.. that was on 3 May! can someone in Dyson

faulty straigtner battery

I am absolutely disgusted with the quality of  Dyson straighteners. I have only had mine 2.5 years and the battery has been slowly dying over the last couple of month, I had a ‘chat’ with Dyson last week who were adamant that there was nothing they could do aside from charge me £100 to get it repaired or replaced or offer me 25% off if I bought another, which is an insult. Having already spent a considerable amount of money to buy it in the first place, I am not prepared to waste any more money on this product. Towards the end of my ‘chat’ the customer service person agreed to Dyson ‘ having a look at it’ It was collected and I’ve now had emails saying it is not even repairable- Dyson must be aware of the faults with their product as there are many forums where people are complaining about the quality, batteries dying and many more. It’s disgraceful that Dyson are happy to sell these straightener at the price they do, knowing full well they are likely to fail in one way or another. I a

Collection failure

Reported a problem with my Dyson Motörhead for which they collected a repair fee and arranged a collection- no time specified- it was ‘all day’. Nobody turned up on the specified day and when I called they said the courier would ‘try again’. There is no video footage of anyone trying in the first place. Collection rearranged for the next day nd same thing happens. Dyson now say they have escalated it and I will get a call urgently- absolutely no surprise that no call happens.I guess the only options now are to write off the money as a bad experience or take them to court. End of the day my experience with Dyson has been ‘good tech’ , ‘poor reliability and failure prone’ and absolutely the WORST customer service experience ever.

Black stains on Dyson Airwrap multi-styler in color blue/blush

Few months ago I bought a Dyson Airwrap multi-styler in color blue/blush and after 1-2 month of inconsistent and gentle using, I notice strange prints or stains, can't identify it. I thought it was dirt and tried to wipe it off, but it didn't work out. So now I think it's a coloring problem. Can you please explain me what's wrong with my styler and how can I fix that issue.

Corralle Straightener Battery replacement

Hello! Saved to get my wife a special straightener to match our vacuum and hair dryer, Dyson fans. The battery in this is failing, and never allowed a full use on a charge. How can I have it replaced? Dyson makes great stuff, you pay for it. I figure it's worth replacing the battery for something so nice, that my wife loves. Any info would be helpful. Thanks. I know the warranty policy, unless the battery can be replaced no questions asked because Dyson is an excellent company, I'd like to know my options. Thanks much!

Dyson PH3 Humidifier Sensor for humidity in room faulty on 5 machines

We are beside ourselves on how to get the PH3 Humidifier to work. Dyson has now sent us 5 replacement machines in last couple months. None of them are reading the humidity in our rooms correctly. All show 74-77 percent. Thus, no water leaves their tanks. Customer Service can’t fix the issue with hours of phone calls. We think they have bad sensors. How can this many new machines have same problem? We run it on Auto and tried off Auto. Pressed remote and power button 10 seconds for countdown to reset, updated software via app, removed water tanks and reinserted, checked if wet at cap above water tank (yes).  What is wrong with these?

Identifying a counterfeit Airwrap

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap off a private seller on eBay UK.The item was sold as New/Unboxed.Receiving the item, I was able to see that it was not new and very much used.After looking at more detail of the machine, I’ve noticed some details which make me question the authenticity of the machine.I’ve spoken to someone the customer server online chat who said it was genuine because the serial number ends with an “A”, not helpful.I’ve spoken to a customer service agent on the phone, and he said I’d need to send it into a repair centre or if i’m lucky go to a store, and they can identify it. Unfortunately, no stores anywhere near Cambridge, UK and can’t send the machine off because i’ll be sending it back to the seller to get a refund.I’m attaching the photos which make me believe this is counterfeit.1- The white circle below the main power button is not aligned in the center vertically. Nor is the blue dot. The line on the right is neither straight. There is no white circle on the power b

The $700 dyson Brick

So a couple months after the warranty ended, the $700 air purifier is now a brick. It just displays an exclamation point inside a triangle, won’t do anything else. Customer service made me jump through email, chat bot, and live chat hoops for days before saying I was SOL with this device. Before I drive an hour to the nearest service center to see what they want to charge me to get this $700 device working again I thought I’d see if anyone had ideas of a better way to get this working. *And yes, I’ll share this experience on TikTok and twitter. What a (super expensive) racket they have going on here.

i just bought a V11 and there is no power at the head to run the motorhead or the light.after spending much time on the phone with dyson i am told that i cannot have it fixed under warranty without them video-calling me.or i can take it to a service center 150 miles away.is this how a “modern” company works??.i wont buy dyson again

How to deal with Dyson’s terrible customer service?

I bought a Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet on March 11.   The order confirmation said: "Shipping within 3-7 business days, plus processing time."  It still hasn't shown up and this is almost 2 months from when I ordered it.    I have tried to get help from Dyson from both live chat and phone on multiple occasions but haven't been able to get anyone who could help.  I have gotten 3 emails from them over the past 2 months, each saying my expected date for my purchase had changed and I should expect it in 7-10 Business Days.   It still hasn’t arrived.  Today I finally got someone on the phone who told me he couldn’t find my order.   When I told him I wasn’t hanging up and didnt trust him to call back or email me a response, he put me on hold for a long time and spoke to the warehouse.   He said my order was shipped and should arrive tomorrow.  I’ll believe that when I see it.   Is there any way to get this company to treat its customers better?   I am appalled at how hard it is to get a produc

V8 Absolute power button problem

When I am holding down on the power button of my V8 absolute and vacuuming it will cut off then on.  It acts as though the power button has a short in it or not making contact with the area in the button that makes it run. On the Absolute you have to hold down the power button with your finger for it to run.

Dyson airwrap purchased in the US and doesnt work in the philippines. what to do?

Hi. Im new to the community. My aunt in the US recently purchased a dyson complete airwrap as a gift for us and brought it here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, we cant use it here due to the difference in voltage. Asked dyson philippines customer care if they can swap or recommend any transformer converter but they said that its best to ask Dyson US on it. Is there any particular brand of transformer or coverter available in the philippines that we can purchase to make this work here? I know we can no longer use the warranty since its only valid in the US and we can bo longer return it to US too since the number of days for return already lapsed so we are just exhausting means to make it work here in the Philippines. Any leads eill be greatly appreciated. We just dont wanna wast the money spent on this dyson so we better make this work here.
