How can remove a vacuum from my 'MyDyson' account?

We had a DC25 vacuum that we used for years. For various reasons, we replaced with a cordless V10 and I have given the DC25 away. Is there a way to remove it from the MyDyson profile?(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

filter cleaning ring on the Supersonic

Good evening, newbie here!  Does the Supersonic Hairdryer come with the O Ring to clean the filter or should I purchase separate? I have watched some cleaning videos where people say they have received it and also a spare metal filter cap( mine doesn’t even seem to be removable completely) for the record I have the Blue/ pink version and I am based in the UK. Purchased from John Lewis. Thank you Rally

Set Cool Temperature

I have similar question. I also have a  Purifier Hot + Cool Formaldehyde (White/Gold).In a room size of 4 meter by 3 meter, with windows and doors closed, at night , the room temperature is 25 Celsius. I set the target temperature to 18 celcius, and fan speed at just 1 (because I wanted the fan to be as quiet as possible while I’m sleeping). I set 18 celcius target temperature by pressing the red minus thermostat control button to 18 celcius and then press the blue dot cooling mode button.After 6 hours, at night, from 1am to 7am, the room temperature is 23 celcius. Is that the correct outcome? I was hoping that the room temperature would be 18 celcius after maybe an hour or at least by 6 hours. What is the correct expectation for the cool feature? What does it do? If I want the room to be 18 celcius on a hot day, how do I configure the unit to cool the room to 18 celcius (if the cool feature is designed to do that). (Edited by moderator – Moved to new Topic and amended title)

What are the differences between Dyson's UK corded upright vacuum range?

Hello Dyson Community,Please can you help.I am looking at the Dyson Ball Animal Origin vs the Dyson Ball Animal and had a question to ask.Does one have more suction power than the other? If not what are the reasons for the £50 price difference?I can see that the Origin model has a longer cord length, is heavier with a larger capacity, but is that all? Taking the airstrait in the cabin on the plane ?

Hi Thanks for adding me to the group.I received my airstrait today and my hair feels so soft. Can I take my airstrait in my hand luggage  or does it need to go in my booked in luggage ?My hair is in much better condition since getting my Dyson appliances and I am looking forward to learning more .

what shocking customer support :(

I’ve just spent well over £600 for a vacuum I am unable to use because I have a part which doesn’t fit anything and I can’t get any answers or proper communication from this company. This is my eighth dyson vacuum - I started with an 02 - I am so saddened by the deterioration of what used to be fantastic customer support. I have spent most of the afternoon following instructions from the customer service lady and the website and still no one has replied to my query. So.. I am forced into a situation I don’t want to be in and joined a community. I’m sure they’re very helpful for those people who like this means of contact but I hate it and I don’t want to be on social media especially so as we live in the sticks and have poor connectivity but I have no alternative but to try to get answers this way. As you may have guessed I’m VERY cross.  I have purchased a V15 detect. There are so many fittings it’s really quite silly but I understand Dyson want to make money. However… the main part a

Help - My Dyson order keeps being cancelled

So i went to purchase my Dyson Airwrap on the website and Everything was fine and then they sent me an email saying the order was canceled, due to the product not being in stock. So i contacted support and they told me it was saying it wasn’t in stock but that they had a different style in stock. I had them reorder it for me and then i thought everything was good. A few minutes later i got another email saying the same thing. So now i’m confused as to why they’re saying it’s not in stock. I called customer service and they told me the order was actually still in pending status. Well they charged my card and everything and now i’m unsure if i’m even going to get the product and i’m seeing on here that it takes forever to get a response from dyson. Dyson made it so hard to return, and it takes forever to get a response

I submitted a return request on 2/18, and I haven't heard back from Dyson since then. The email said it takes up to 48 hrs to process and I will get a response from Dyson, but now it has been DAYS and no response yet for my return request. Dyson did a good job of being silent. I have also been trying to call via the phone but my call just got hang up automatically after a few miniutes! It is such a waste of time! If Dyson does not improve their customer support, there is no reason for me to keep buying Dyson products any more because it is just a bad experience and a big pain to go through supporgt and post-order service.

Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer Stopped Working

Hi, I have a Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer, which is still in warranty (purchased Oct 2022) and it has just completely stopped working  It shows 3 flashing white lights. I've read the troubleshooting page and cleaned the filter (NB: which I do regularly anyway), but this has made no difference at all.  It still won't work at all. Has anyone else had this problem and can suggest how to resolve it? Thanks

Airstrait release - still nothing

So, i checked instagram - alerts ready at Dyson - still not one word from Dyson on the release date for europe. Surely marketing at Dyson should be on this? Not even for Christmas can we get one - and why doesnt anyone from Dyson have any date or even month? you keep saying check our insta/website  - well i have done.. and they tell me nothing.

Stolen Package - What should I do?

I purchased a dyson supersonic blow dryer my 3rd one and was robbed on my birthday I was suppose to receive it but I never did and no signature was required:(and dyson was quick to not help me at all!!!.I'm so disappointed 😞  they declined my claim In less then a hour…Any suggestions what I can do?

V 15 detect keeps showing filter needs cleans and keeps clogging up

I’ve had a Dyson cordless v 15 detect for less than 2 years now and it has been a real pain and very difficult to keep running.  The issue is twofold.  First, it clogs almost every few times that I vacuum and my house is small and relatively clean to begin with (just dust).  Second, and this seems to be a flaw in the programming, it shows that the filter needs to be cleaned and then allowed to dry for 24 hours.  This occurs after *five minutes* or less of vacuuming.When I contacted customer support the first time, a new vacuum was sent to me.  And after a very short period of time, this machine started to do The. Very. Same. Thing!  I called customer support again and a new vacuum body was sent to me.  Again the same thing.  Clogging at the vacuum head and showing that the filter needed to be cleaned etc.  And yet again I called customer service and was told I needed to purchase a new filter which I did.Same Issues.I purchased the Dyson because of its reputation but I would never purch

Using the Dyson Airstrait straightener abroad

I have bought the new Dyson Airstraight from USA not realising it has the USA plug on it which I cannot change.Is there anyone interested in buying it from me ?? Dyson have been so unhelpful I have phoned waited an hour to speak to someone any each time they say something different.   I hoped I could send it back to them and change the plug but this has not happened.   Any ideas  ?   I bought it from Desertcart America and they not interested  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I paid £600 for it.   Rather than lose the whole amount wondered if any one interested in buying for much less from  me ?  Thanks for any help suggestions etc..

a humming sound intermittently happens

I’ve noticed a humming sound high pitched noise and it happens often but intermittently on its own. I run my Dyson 24-7 on Auto and the filter is okay not ready to be replaced yet per the app percentage.  anyone else experience this humming sound and how do I fix it? It becomes so annoying I turn off the Dyson when it happens.

US Shipping Issues

I know a lot of people have had shipping issues on here, but I don’t know what the resolution ends up being for most of them.  I ordered a V15 Detect over 10 days ago, it was shipped via GLS with “next day delivery”. GLS tracking shows that they received the package that day, it arrived in my city, and then disappeared. Every day GLS would just “reschedule” the delivery to the next day, over and over for a week straight. I contacted them multiple times and never got any answers.  I also submitted requests to Dyson multiple times and have never gotten any response. Finally I bit the bullet and sat on hold with Dyson for almost an hour to speak with someone. They told me that they could see the GLS issue, and they would go ahead and send me a new one via UPS. They told me that I would receive the confirmation and UPS tracking within 24-48 hours. Well, guess what! It’s been over 48 hours and I’ve gotten nothing! No update of any kind on my orders page either.  Would love to know what the

I currently and wondering if there is an issue with Afterpay and Dyson because I have been waiting on a tracking number since Sept 17th 2023 when I made the order and have already made a payment with Afterpay but still no tracking number I am in contact via email with costumer service but they are asking for a number I never received so where is my money going is I haven't received a number.

Horrible customer service experience from refund process

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the refund process I have been experiencing with your company. It has been over two months since I initiated the refund request, and yet there has been no progress or resolution in sight. This level of delay and lack of response is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on Dyson's commitment to customer satisfaction.I contacted your customer support from April 2023 to request a refund for the aforementioned product. At that time, I was assured that my request would be promptly processed, and the refund would be issued within a reasonable timeframe. However, I have been met with nothing but frustration and disappointment ever since.Despite repeated follow-ups and providing all the necessary information, there has been no concrete action taken to resolve my refund request. Spare part - Out of stock

Hi Stuart, The spare parts I'm looking for have been out of stock since i ordered on the 19th of December i have been in touch with Dyson support but they cant give a date when these will be back in. I have a house with 4 small kids and I'm lost without the dyson, myself and my wife were constantly fighting over Christmas over vacuuming having to take out the old wired henry hoover :) What's the best course of action here? (Edited by Moderator - Moved to Question, Tags Added)

Repair Service Fiasco!! Courier Collection.

Hello, has anyone had repair collection issues from Dyson.  I booked in my Dyson 2 weeks ago for a collection for repair and today was the FOURTH collection slot booked and still not collected! I’ve called Dyson numerous times and been on hold for hours over the last 2 weeks trying to resolve issue and still no resolution to this issue! I have always bought Dyson hoovers and I am fast losing faith in this company! Anyone else had issues and any advice very welcome? Perhaps I should just buy a new Shark hoover instead of wasting my time! 😖.
