Help Me Find the Right VacuumSPOTLIGHTED POST

Hello!! I need help choosing the right vacuum for my home. We are dramatically downsizing and I do not need a big heavy vacuum anymore! 1700 sq ft, all hardwood and tile, Australian Shepherd that sheds like crazy. No stairs. I need something that will be good for pet hair and DUST.

V8 and V7 interchangeable accessories

I have two cordless vacuum cleaners.  A V8 Total and a V7 Fluffy.  Most accessories appear to be interchangeable. However the main rotating carpet accessory for the V8 does not rotate when fitted to the V7. Does the V7 require a different rotating carpet accessory?  If so what is the model number and price?

Delivery - How do I get a shipping update?

I placed an order for V8 ABSOLUTE on the 15th of this month and when I did, it said that expected delivery was Tuesday (18th) so I was expecting to received an email with tracking number right away. Today is the 19th and I still haven’t received an email. Is this normal when ordering directly from Dyson.com? (Edited by moderator – Tags added and Title amended)

Returning a Dyson Product in the UK unsucessful

Afternoon All,I am trying to return a Dyson product that I am unhappy with, bought from dyson.co.uk.I have got no where with anyone at the moment so I am at a loose end.I had the fan delivered on the 15th September 2023. Was not happy with it but gave it a week or two.I proceeded to start the return process (under the 35 day returns policy) on the 5th of October via the Dyson Whatapp messaging service.First Collection Date: 10 October - There supposedly was an error and a new collection date was arranged.Second Collection Date: 12th October - No delivery company came to pick the item up.Third Collection date: 18th October (today) - Been told by the whatsapp messaging service that it has been cancelled and new collection date needs to be re arranged.All I want is to return the product and a refund.is that to much to ask!?Thanks in advance

Delivery/Exchange issues

Long story somewhat short - I purchased a Dyson V8 and have had two motors die while under warranty. I have spent a lot of time with customer service trying to get this thing figured out. The first time, they sent me a replacement motor but it was backordered so it took a bit. The second time, after some back and forth, they offered to send me a Dyson V8 Absolute. That was agreeable to me but this is where it gets a bit sideways. I was told in chat that I would be sent a label and all I had to do was bring the vacuum to a UPS store and they would pack it up for me and ship it. That was partially true, or at least some important information was omitted. I got the label and took it to the UPS store in the 22nd of December. When I arrived, they told me it should have been customer packed and this created an awkward situation, but in any regard it shipped. It took Dyson 8 days to receive the vacuum and I was told that I would receive the vacuum 5-8 days from the date they received it. Afte

Deep Clean Cycle Issue

I have less than 20 hours use on my machine.  About 8 out 10 times it asks me to perform the deep clean cycle especially after replacing the water container with fresh water.  This machine is essentially brand new!   It happened right out of the box the first day I owned it. Dyson customer service was no help.  Any ideas how to solve this or just take it in for warranty replacement?

Why is my Dyson Cyclone V10 vacuum making a pulsing noise?

Our Dyson has been doing this for some time. There is not light saying something is blocked or filter. There is nothing canister and the filter is clean. It will only work on boost which makes me think it’s not the battery (if boost still works). (Moderation edit - title updated)

My refurbished V11 stopped working after a year

I bought my V11 7/21 as refurbished. I registered it online right away. I have a small space and needed something powerful but small. It is not as powerful as my old Electrolux, but I like a space saver. I used it 10 min max three times a week. Battery is always full when returning to a charger. 4 months ago the vacuum started working by itself when I removed it from charger and stopped only when put back . Not responding to me pushing a switch. A month ago it died . Not charging, not working. The Dyson suggested sending me a new battery. A couple days later, I received an email saying: Thank you for registration your Dyson, your warranty expired 01/04/22. I registered my vacuum 7/21 . Got email about registration today, because I need help with not working item. Originally it says 2 years warranty. Anybody has a similar experience?

New Gen 5 Outer Red trim is it functional?

HiI bought a new absolute GEN five. I love it. Unfortunately that little red rubber trim  on the outside started to peel off. I didn't notice it. As shown some of it has already come away. I checked Reddit and someone said it is a functional piece and something about airflow into the cyclones. They say that you have to have it or it'll affect functionality? I can't get through Dyson support. It  is a 40 minute wait and then I did find somewhere else where they said it's just cosmetic.Can someone please help me? I would really not mind if it's just cosmetic it'll save me a trip but if it's going to  affect functionality, I'll take it to the local Dyson support and see if they need to replace or repair it. Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09 doesnt go to Idle in Auto

I’m using the HP09 in Auto Mode with Heat set to 19 Celsius. Once the temperature is reached it stops heating. However, there is still a loud noise coming from the machine but no air flow felt coming from it.As I understand it tries to purify the air until the desired quality is reached however, the air quality is all good so I thought it would go to standby. Any thoughts let me know. PM 2.5 levels increased after cleaning HEPA filter

My PM2.5 levels were around 71 and not going down .I was advised to clean the HEPA Filters. After cleaning with a soft brush, the PM level has increased to 121 and more. Why is this so?

Sorry, we can't connect to the Dyson network

I changed phone and now each time I try to connect to my dyson account I got the following message:“Sorry, we can't connect to the Dyson network, we are working to fix this. Please try again later”This happen before I could even enter my password.The support cannot help, they claim it should work. I created several new accounts, deleted and re-installed several time the app but it still does not work. It has been a month now and the pity is that I cannot change the schedule of the machine, since I need the app….FYI, I have no VPN, etc… etc… If somebody could help, that would be much appreciated, this drives me crazy and it seems I am the only one having this issue (I could not find anything on the web).

With the fourth in the series of our owners polls rolling out, we’re focusing this one on our Purifier, specifically where they are located within the home. With a young family at home, air purification is at the top of my priorities - not only for the health and well-being benefits, but the protection offered against airborne viruses and bacteria. Oscillation wont stop

Hello, I can’t turn my tower fan TP02 oscillation off using the remote or the app. It oscillates even when the fans turned off.Is it a software or hardware problem? Can I reset the machine? Any advice on how I can fix it?

Customer Service SO TERRIBLE

What is going on with Dyson???  I created an order in error and immediately contacted Customer Service.  The phone rep said she would cancel the order, which she did not.  When the item was received, I returned the item immediately.  It has been over 35 days since Dyson received the hair dryer at its warehouse.  I have spoken to multiple reps, sometimes for over an hour to try and resolve.  No one can advise as to why I have not received my refund of $548.  Online chat is even worse, with truly incompetent employees and terrible waits.  Honestly the worst chat experiences ever.Dyson has the most awful customer service I have ever experienced, and I don’t understand why.  The products are so high end, but customer service means long waits to access an agent, no resolution, and even longer waits to actually get a refund.  It makes me question whether Dyson is a good company.  If I can’t even get my money back (supposedly a simple transaction), how in the world would Dyson ever be able to

How to troubleshoot a Dyson V8 cordless vacuum making a pulsing noise

Please someone HELP. Vacuum is doing the pulsing only when attachment is attached on MAX. Works fine without attachment and works with attachment on regular setting. any ideas of what this could be?

Dyson US Returns>

I am trying to return 3 Dyson hair products in the US (unwanted gifts and expensive) and cannot get a response on the process.I have submitted the online form, received a notification email, but no follow-up for over 10 days.  I tried the support number and chat - chat is nearly all automated and if I request live agent, it says chat not available.  Call queues are 3-4 hours and I have yet to get a live person.  I am doing so during the listed business hours (US CST).I tried contacting the Dyson Support US email and received “This is not a monitored inbox, but you can reach us via live chat.”  How can a listed Support email (Support US <support@dyson.com>) not be monitored? Also -  a voice notice from the support number: “there will be a delay of up to 14 days after the product is returned.  I have yet to be able to ship anything back. Any advise?

v10 battery flashing blue/red

I have a v10 which is a few years old.It’s functioning well although the last few months the battery has been flashing blue/red whilst charging.I’ve obtained a brand new battery from Dyson after being told it’s a battery issue. This didn’t cure the problem.My v10 has been back to Dyson and they couldn’t find a fault!Battery is still flashing blue/red whilst charging.Anybody have any ideas what is causing this?

Hairdryer not working after Europe trip

Hello -  I just came back from Europe.  I tried plugging my US bought dyson hairdryer into an adapter in Europe and nothing happened.  I didn’t think much of it until I got home and now it won’t turn on even the US.  Did I fry it?  If so, can that be repaired?

Set Cool Temperature

Hi, We just bought our 1st Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool™ Formaldehyde (White/Gold). It seems to be an amazing bit of kit and the accompanying app really works well. My query is if it is possible to set a target Cool temperature, I do realise its not an air conditioning unit but would love to have it slightly cooler at night. Hope this query makes some kind of sense to someone 😇

no airflow through air multipier loop on hot + cool fan

I have had my new Dyson hot + cool formaldehyde fan for about a week, but have noticed that I can’t feel any air flowing through the loop or out from the slit on the inside of the loop. Not sure if this is normal or my fan is faulty? cool air flows from the front of the fan, but if I block the air multiplayer loop with a towel or sheet the airflow remains the same.I would expect this to decrease the airflow if air was been multiplied. any ideas what is happening?
