V7 pulsing when long tool is used

My V7 pulses, ie goes on and off, when I use the long attachment but is fine with the hand tool. Ive replaced the filters and can’t find any blockages. It may be the battery but I’m reluctant to spend more money when it might not help, as the vacuum is only two years old.I waited for ages in the queue and spoke to a guy who wasn’t helpful or interested. The machine is only a couple of months out of warranty and I expect more from such a premium brand. Any advice before I switch to a more reliable brand?

Cleaning the cyclone on a V6

Please can you tell me how do I clean all the clogged fine dust that is behind the mesh on the cyclone? The instructions say to use the brush attachment but I need to get the contents from inside out. When I shake it, some dust comes out a bit like shaking flour through a sieve but some of it has clogged and won't move.Any tips would be welcome.

Dyson Purifier HP09 Formaldehyde catalytic filters

Hi,So I just bought my third HP09 Formaldehyde and this one has the old catalytic filters the metal ones you see on Dyson website and packaging. My two older machines has the newer filter that is more of a stepped material. should I be worried I may have a really old machine with older technology? I know Dyson state the machines are now sealed to H13 inside as well as the filters. Would the older machines be sealed to H13? Thank you

dyson v7 not charging

Hello, My Dyson v7 will charge for 30 second to a minute and then disconnect from the charger (light turns off) I have tried replacing the charger and also the battery and neither has fixed the issue. Any suggestions??

V12 clogging of slits/vents with fine dust

Hi everyone!Our V12 gets very quickly clogged with fine dust at the larger slits/vents reducing the vacuum power and eventually signaling, that the filter has to be cleaned (which is not the case).Please see the photos for reference:What can be the problem? I don’t think that this was happening with the new device.Can it be, that the gasket is not fitting tightly any more and that I have to replace the outer/detachable part of the bin? Dyson V11 Absolute Battery Spring

Dear community,my name is Klaus and I am a happy user of the Dyson V11 Absolute.There is a small compression spring in the battery for the locking mechanism. This one was damaged for some reason and the battery does not lock anymore into the device.Since I do not want to replace the battery for almost 100 EUR I am looking for replacement of that little compression spring. Can somebody tell me where I can get a replacement part or alternatively the specs (wire diamater, spring diamter, spring length)? Unfortunately the orginal spring got lost, so I cannot measure it myself :(.Thanks in advance!Klaus

Why is my Dyson V6 cordless vacuum displaying 7 flashing blue lights?

How do I add my Dyson Lightcycle light to the MyDyson app?

I have two Lightcycle lamps, one works with the App without problem, I added/removed/added again no problems!The second one is found by the app (logged in), when it prompts to push the physical button to sync, the app asks me to login, after login I get back to the home screen and nothing happens. Trying to add the machine once again takes me to login and this is repeated every time.I want to point out again that the second light has no problem, after adding it takes me to setup the product and not to login.I have tried so far:logout and loginDeleting the app and reinstallturn off and on bluetoothrestart the phoneunplug the lamp Any thoughts? Dyson hot + cool fan speed heater mode at night

Hello everyone,I’m new to the Dyson community.I bought my first Dyson hot + cool HP09 and it’s a really nice device.I’m mostly using it at night in my bedroom and I realized that even in level one (heater) the airflow is more powerful than in cooler mode, even in night mode. Night mode is not having any influence on level one to my understanding, only in auto mode.1. is it normal and why airflow is more powerful in heater than cooler mode ?2. if yes, what the best setting at night to reduce noise to a maximum ?thanks for your help and have a nice day.

V Ball wheel won't stay on V15 digital motorbar cleaner head

How do I get the V Ball wheel on the digital motorbar cleaner head repaired on my V15 Direct vacuum? It came off and it looks like the screw was stripped from the head itself. It no longer screws in. Vacuum is still under warranty.

Remove invalid serial # from my Dyson Account?

I purchased a vacuum as a gift some somebody and it registered to my account automatically. When I contacted Dyson Support they somehow registered an invalid serial # in my Dyson and now it shows two of the same machines. How do I get the invalid serial # removed?

Hello,I have a 130 square meter house (1399 square foot). Why is my Dyson V15s Detect Submarine vacuum displaying a flashing blue light?

V-Ball Wheel Broken

The right V-Ball wheel screw mounting has sheered off. The screw is still in the wheel however there’s nothing to fix it to on the Torque Drive motorhead. Any suggestions? I hope this doesn’t mean I need a new motorhead.

V6 Cordless - problems in MAX mode

My Dyson V6 Animal shuts off after running for just a few seconds in MAX mode. If I run it in standard mode it will run perfectly fine. As soon as I switch to MAX it cuts off after a few seconds. No pulsing, fully charged battery.I replaced the battery with a brand new genuine battery, I’ve taken the whole thing apart and cleaned everything. I accept that probably I have a motor problem and will need to order a new machine, that’s no problem.However, until the new machine arrives, how can I get the machine to run in Standard mode? The last setting was MAX, so when I switch it on now, it just cuts out after a second or two, not giving me time to change the mode back to standard. I know that if I can get it back to standard mode then I can at least use it temporarily.Can anyone tell me how to get it to start up in standard mode even if it was on MAX the last time it was used?Thank you!
