V10 Battery Screw Removal & Bin Slides Completely Off | Dyson Community

Dyson Cyclone V10, just out of 2 yr warranty.

  1. Can’t get battery screws out. Phone support told me use a Phillips but many online say to use a Pozidriv. I bought a set of PZ1, PZ2 & PZ3. Only the PZ1 will actually fit in there. All 3 screws are in too tight for Phillips or Pozidriv. Am I missing something?
  2. Dust bin won’t stop when emptying, completely separates from main body. Phone support said need either a new main body ($70) or new bin ($30). Waste of 30 minutes waiting on hold.

Thanks.
