Waiting 10 months for a fix to the trigger switch on a Dyson V10 stick vacuum - HELP!

Is this some type of scam Dyson run hoping that you will buy another of their vacuums while you wait 10 months for them to fix a trigger switch on your stick vacuum, I could have bought a switch on eBay and did it myself but I thought NO send it to the experts …. this is what their page states read HASSLE FREE ….The Dyson GuaranteeAll Dyson machines come with a hassle-free guarantee. Cordless V6 - Accessory with red sticky (velvet) strip

Mattress tool for Gen 5 Detect

I found this Mattress tool listed https://www.dyson.com.au/mattress-tool-971427-01 but it didn't explicitly say it works with Gen 5 Detect. I wanna ask if this list is up to date? Can I use Gen 5 Detect with this Mattress tool? If not, is there any mattress tool available for Gen 5 Detect? Thank you

Dyson V12 Detect Slim Warranty - Cyclone Rubber Sealant

Hello, I bought Dyson V12 detect slim in October 2022 (received it on 28 Oct), so it's less than 7 months old. I'm a very careful OCD person and expect the Dyson quality with the $ spent on this machine. Today I notice that the red rubber on the machine is starting to break, which even though it's not affecting the machine but it's not something that I expect to happen in less than 7 months. :( Can I claim warranty of this issue?I've attached the photos for your reference. Thank you

Dyson Micro 1.5kg™ vacuum and Tangle Free Turbine Tool compatibility - Help!

OH YES! You already know what I'm about to ask based on the title of the post :(Saw the attachment and didn't think bought it for my Dyson 1.5kg from the dyson site... Now I see it doesn't fit and was meant for other models :(My only ray of hope is some sort of adapter! Do you know what/if one will fit?Please say yes, it's easy, just buy XYZ...!!! !!On another note:The reason i was so trigger-happy was because the Mini motorized tool and the default Micro Fluffy™ cleaner head just doesn't get the dog hair off floor/carpet and gets blocked fast!Shiba inu hair ! After some google-fu i’ve noticed the 1.5 kg also known as the micro has different attachment points.. now im worried

Cordless V7 has no suction, power head works but does not pick anything up. Other tools do not work, vacuum does not do anything without powerhead attached directly or with wand & powered attached. So bad suction motor

Cordless - DC35 Run Time.

Hi All,    I wish to thank all with help regarding DC35 2 new batteries and a new charger laterMy progress is to leave new charger on all night to actually charge battery to the required22.6 volt and then only get a run time of 5 to 7 minutes I confess to giving up flogging the dead horsedid no good.       If of interest I am now the happy owner of a Vax Blade 4 quick charging long runtime andexcellent battery condign indication.      Again Thank you for your time keep up the good work a lot of people rely on your experience                                                 Kind Regards Peter

Dyson V11 won't charge even with a new battery and charge - Suggestions?

Can anyone help??😫.  My Dyson started to pulse and said something like “air blockage”/?   So I took it all apart and cleaned it.  It was still blocked??  After trying again to find the blockage, ordered a new filter and then I decided this must be a false report.  When I plugged it back in….. it would not charge.  So I decided it must have been that battery losing charge.  I ordered a new battery, and it still wouldn’t charge.  This was getting confusing, so I decided it must be the plug/charger that is not connecting properly.  Yesterday I got a new plug/charger and to my horror, it still won’t charge.  No idea what to do now.  It is about 3 years old, and I have paid out approx £120 so far on new parts.  I have also went out and bought another vacuum as I could not wait weeks for this vacuum to decide to start working again.  So I do have another vacuum now (thank goodness, but nothing as good as the Dyson and I don’t feel this one picks up well at all) so I want my Dyson working ag

Gen5 Detect's batteries' cross-compatibility with V15/Outsize/V11

Bonjour,The new Gen5 Detect will be available soon in France, or is already purchasable in some stores.I wondering if the new battery design is pluggable in previous cordless models that has clickable batteries as V15, Outsize and some V11.Also it could be interesting to know if the prior clickable battery model is compatible with the Dyson Gen5 Detect. Does anyone have tried this cross-compatibility between the 2 differents Dyson's clickable batteries models ?Finally, are docking stations cross-compatible ?I think it's easy to find out. But no one seems to have shared this information on the web.It will be great to be able to upgrade the battery capacity of cordless vacuum cleaners preceding the Gen5 Detect.Have a nice day. Mounting height for wall mount on a V10

I used the 47 1/2” measurement for the bottom hole in the mounting plate.  This leaves my V10 about 7 inches off the ground.  Way does Dyson want you to mount the V10 so high?

What can I do with my old hoover filter?

I have a cordless V10 and after the better half decided to hoover up building dust we have needed to replace the filter as no amount of cleaning would stop the filter light coming on. I don't want to just throw it away but cannot find any information on if they can be recycled or returned to dyson?
