Dyson V11 Absolute - Cleaner head difference. | Dyson Community
Skip to main content

I have compared the V11 and V11 Absolute on DYSON’s website. The basic V11 comes with a Wall Mount to charge the vacuum. This isn’t shown on the Absolute’s accessory list so is one included?

Also both vacuums state they are suitable for carpet and hard floors, yet the Absolute has an additional ‘soft roller’ for ‘hard floors’. How does this compare with the standard head on hard floors?

Thanks

The standard head has a brush bar with microfibre sections, designed to agitate carpet etc. The soft roller head is one massive microfibre brush that will do the same, but over the whole floor space you vacuum. There’s a YouTube video that demonstrates each of these functions. I think it’s even covered in this post by the CM - Dyson Cordless vacuums: Getting started.

Hello @Dleat

Thanks for posting a question to the wider community.

The Dyson v11™️ comes with a Motorbar cleaner head - This is a dual purpose floor tool which adapts to hard floors and carpet. It also comes with a Wall mount.

Where as the Dyson V11 Absolute™️ comes with a Motorhead and a Soft roller head - Simply for the purpose of having a separate floor tool for each floor type, such as your hard floors and carpet. This does not included a Wall mount but can be ordered separately if needed.

Ultimately, it is for you to decide which accessories is essential and needed for you. Here is a link to guide you on this.
