Will an Airstrait bought in the UK, work in India?

I am planning to call for an Airstrait from the UK and use it in India. I do see on the Dyson website that the voltage for both these regions is the same however this was about the other hair appliances and not for the Aistrait specifically. Could anyone confirm if the machine will work fine in India? Thanks !

Treatment of professionals has tarnished my impression of the brand.

I am the owner of a hair salon in my city and we all use Dyson Supersonic Professional hair dryers. Our clients expect an elevated and high end experience and we have been very proud to represent Dyson as our tool of choice. Recently I returned my hair dryer for a simple warranty claim. My agent was polite and told me it would only be 7 - 14 days before I had my new dryer. Fast forward to now, I have spoken to three more agents trying to confirm updates on my order and have only just now been informed the Supersonic Pro is out of stock. Had i known this before, I would have simply purchased a new Supersonic at my local beauty supply to use in the meantime. Now, it has almost been a month and I have been losing valuable time behind the chair using a cheap, off brand dryer. All agents have refused to escalate my issue to case managers and I am now having to take my issue public. Losing power - blue light solid on charging

My dyson V7 seems to be losing power very quickly, it appears to be charging as the blue light is solid when on charge, no flashing etc as others have. It works but then cuts out after 5 mins or so, is this just the battery not holding charge? We have not replaced the battery and had the dyson a number of years.?

Mapping issues on the 360 Vis Nav

I’ve had a Roomba in the past and hated it, so I was excited to finally get a Dyson, having bought my first Dyson vacuum in 2006. I expected the mapping on the Dyson to be top notch. Last night, I mapped our home, and this morning I tried creating a map. Our home has angles, so not everything is on a 90-degree layout. There is no way for me to put a separation at a 45-degree angle. Rotating the separation is only at 90-degree angles. With the Roomba, we could isolate our kitchen for a daily cleaning, but there is no way to do this without adding 45-degree separators. This also means that our cleaning routine over FIVE AND A HALF HOURS to clean the living room and kitchen together? Dyson, will you be adding the ability to create 45-degree angles in the software? If not, this vacuum is completely useless in our home. Here’s the Roomba map with angled zone dividers:

is my v15 detect absolute original or knock-off

Hi everyone,I got a new V15 detect absolute from Amazon. The package delivered today. The product looks working, but I have some doubts about the product. 1- instead of gold, the plastic parts are gray and black 2- pamplet and app says the product is v15 detect, not absolute3- there are some wave patterns on the plastic. Seems low qualitySo, am I being ripped off or is this normal?

I have just bought a new Dyson V15 Detect. Put the charger in it and it don’t do anything. Nothing in the display and it can’t turn on. have tried different electric socket in the house. Am I doing something wrong? Best regards Laila

Why no spare parts?

Hi!I have been waiting for a spare part for a V11 for quite some time now. Have been in contact with support, but they can not shed any light on this. In the meanwhile I see more and more spare parts for this machine ‘not in stock’. When I last checked, over 50% of the spare parts for the V11 were out of stock.I bought this machine in 2022 and the guarantee ended january this year. Has this machine already reached the end of its lifecycle? Is Dyson in trouble? Why did they stop stocking spare parts for the V11 already?Hoping someone can give some information about this.Corwin

air purifier filters

Hello, we have 4 Dyson Purifier Cool in our home. We constantly change the filters, every few months based on the indication. Was wondering if Dyson has any recycling program in place in India to deposit the used filters ?The local waste disposers have no idea how to consider these used filters, so they simply seem to add on to the plastic burden. Please let me know if there are any such initiatives or programs active in India, will be happy to collect and drop by the filters or other replaced parts. Thank you Geetha

dyson airwrap diffuser

When is the dyson airwrap diffuser attatchment gonna be in stock?!Ive been waiting for like 4? 5? Months for it and i occasionally ask the customer service via text when its gonna be back. I was told 4 weeks like 2months ago and atill nothing. If they know its in demand why cant they just make more.Ive been putting off buying the airwrap just so i can purchase it together with the diffuser attatchment.

Sent Corralle into get repaired and now they are saying it wasn’t in the box!

Sent in my $500 Corrale stradinghtner to get a new battery. Shipping label said it was going to Washington. I get a call saying it is in WI and my Corrale is NOT in the box only the docking station and cord is. When I called they said it never went to WI only Washington. BUT the representative in WI sent me pictures. The pictures show packaging that I did NOT put in the box. They are telling me file with UPS but THEY LOST IT and SENT IT to a place I never authorized. Anyone else go through this?

Dyson V10 does not charge

HiFirst of all I have to apologise if there are faults in language and grammar,This is caused because I am german.my V10 cleaner does not charge always. Sometimes if the plug of the charger is inserted into the socketon the V10 the blue lights do not flash. If I wiggle the plug several times it starts charging.so it seems that the socket at the unit is defective, I checked visually but there is nothing to be seen.maybe someone does know how to fix this problem.! Initial Impressions:After purchasing the Gen5 Detect, which is my first Dyson by the way, I was very pleased with how well it works from my initial tests. But, it gives me a sense that it's fragile, especially after a family relative told me that it can easily break with very fine particles. One example they gave was drill dust.Usage Context:I need to drill holes in walls 1-3 times a year, not for a full renovation, but for tasks like mounting the Dyson dock or hanging a couple of pictures or shelves. Additionally, I plan to use it occasionally for cleaning the interior of my car.Concerns and Questions:Is it okay to vacuum up the dust while drilling? Are there specific things that this vacuum can't handle? I don’t expect it to manage large chunks of rocks, glass, or liquids, but I would like it to perform similarly to the cheap corded vacuum I had before.

3rd failed return

I have arranged a return now 3 times. All have failed. Customer service is totally disjointed and not fir for purpose. The 3rd courier actually arrived and refused to take it without box. Dyson has promised to provide a box this time. What is happening? This is now the 4th time I have contacted customer services, and I think we are at the end of our relationship with Dyson.

Dyson canister vac with an attachment for nice rugs

I have a new rug. It’s very nice. Handwoven. I think it’s wool. We have a fairly new Dyson Big ball Canister vac. I can’t find an attachment without a beater bar. We have an attachment for hardwood floors and one for carpet. I need to find one for nice rugs. I’ll bet the answer is that Dyson doesn’t have one.

Short Lifespan Airwrap

I have had my airwrap since Nov 2021, so 2 ½ years. And i barely used it a couple times a week max and it just stopped working yesterday. I chatted with an agent for 2 hrs and came to the solution that they escalated my case and would be in contact in max 24 hrs. I called today after the 24hrs and there was never an escalation or anyone who was going to contact me. As i am out of the warranty range and live far from a service center the only solution i was given was to replace it. I was not offered any sort of discount. I stayed on the line to take the survey and the representative would not hang up the phone for me to do that. They kept the line open for over 30mins. For how expensive dyson products are i expect a better level of customer service and i expected the airwrap to last at least 10 years. I am very disappointed and will be looking into shark and other companies. Id rather spend a couple hundred if im going to just be replacing them every 2-3 years. From the reading i have d

EU Airwrap in the US - solution needed!

Hi there,can @dyson please provide a customer centric solution to safely use a EU Dyson in countries with different Voltage/Wattage/Power Outlets! (‚& US, UK etc. in EU, Asia, etc.)Looking at the amount of threads about this topic I believe it’s a opportunity for Dyson to truly delight customers!I‘m utterly disappointed that there’s no official converter/ adapter recommended that makes our precious Airwrap work when travelling, working abroad. In some countries you have +30 days of holiday & remote work is here to stay - it’s a Zeitgeist Lifestyle topic you seriously should take into consideration!How about partnering up with converter/adapter manufacturer and create an add-on product (as beautiful and practical like the Airwrap) and offering this to your customers? How to get 360 Vis Nav to vacuum toe kicks under cabinets?

I am having a problem getting the 360 Vis Nav to actually vacuum the “toe kick” under kitchen cabinets. It is completely ignoring them.Could re-mapping help? Can I only re-map the kitchen area and not the whole house? The Roomba had a little “whisker” that would extend out and sweep these crumbs completely.
