Apple Homekit Integration

Hello all! I made this topic to see how many others would like to see the integration of Apple’s HomeKit to the Dyson smart fan ecosystem. I know Siri Shortcuts exist and there’s third party apps that can integration your Dyson with Apple’s HomeKit but I would love the option to be added so it “Just works”. Anyone else have opinions on this?

Constantly fluctuating air quality - Is this right?

The air quality in my room, according to my sensor, has been fluctuating very dramatically and I am wondering if this happens to other people, if there is something wrong with my sensor, or if I just have a serious air quality problem? V10 Animal filter - Blockage/usage issues

Recently the symbol showing filter clogged comes on after every use! Enquired at the shop that services it to be told that this machine is not meant to be used on a daily basis, rather on those days when a plug in model is not used and the pickup is light. In other words it sounds like a Ewbank that my mother used but with a motor! Apparently the machine does not like fine dust and therefore clogs easily. I was astounded to learn this information given the price. Has anyone else been advised not to use it daily? I certainly don’t remember such advice when we we bought it…

Airwrap Volumizing Damaged My Hair

Hi everyone! In the last couple of months, my volumizing brush head has been burning the ends of my hair. Thankfully, I contacted Dyson and they were more than willing to send me a replacement. I keep seeing comments claiming that the Mother’s Day colourway has launched in the UK but it doesn’t include the airstrait. Why not, Mother’s Day is 9 days away in the UK! Can we expect it?

Replace a brand new Dyson Airwrap from India for a US version

I received the Airwrap from my family as a gift. I live in US, when I had reached out to Dyson in June, customer service reps has assured me, i would be able to switch the Airwrap for the US version.I could not get  to the service center, due to a long term medical emergency in the family.When I reached out back to the Dyson customer care today, they are telling me the policy has changed and they cannot replace the Dyson Airwrap for the US version.I need help!!!!!I am stuck with this beautiful expensive piece of technology that I have not been able to use for months now. There has got to be a way to help me with this, so I can use the Airwrap and be a satisfied customer. Can someone from the Dyson community take this back to higher management and help resolve this situation, please? (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Shelf life of V8 Absolute - Battery capacity

I bought our V8 Absolute in October 2017.  It has poor run time and I can just replace the battery.  However I don’t want to replace the battery and find that I need to replace the machine as they donlt last that long.  It gets average use and is not mistreated or mishandled!

Air Purifier filter change - We're so glad we did!SPOTLIGHTED POST

Make sure you change your air filters. My wife purchased an air purifier in September 2020 for her classroom and it finally was down to 10% so we changed the filter. Wow! I wish I would have changed this sooner. I’m so glad she had this to protect her.

Bought Airwrap in India and was told by Dyson US that we could exchange but they are now refusing. Comments welcome.

I got the air wrap in India as a gift, but have moved to the US since. Chatting with the Dyson US customer service I was told that once I moved to the US, I could get it checked and exchanged if everything was ok but the repair center said they don’t do international exchanges. I talked to the customer care again and now they are saying the same thing that they cannot exchange. They lied and now I am stuck with this $600 product that I cannot even use. Here is the chat with the customer care attached.

How do I reset the filter life indicator on my Dyson purifier heater HP00?

Can someone please explain the reset procedure for a HP00 fan as none of the instructions seem to be correct. I have just received my machine back from Dyson repair and the filter symbol has gone but I am still non the wiser and I am concerned than when it appears again I’ll have to return it again.
