Using dyson bought in US in India

Hello,  I bought my Dyson in the US and I am moving back to India. I bought it last year August. Is it possible to exchange it for the one that works in India, or maybe get it exchanged in India.  what are my options? Thank you :)

Does the 360 Vis Nav ONLY use the map? Or does the camera and sensors override the map?

I am curious about mapping.  Since the software doesn’t seem to like angled walls, does the robot map the house and use it “as a suggestion,” allowing the cameras and sensors to “override” the map if it determines that it can actually follow the edge of a diagonal cabinet or wall?  When I look at my map, there are very large zig-zags representing these diagonal walls and cabinets.  But when it shows the cleaning map, it overlaps—but not exactly—the original map from mapping.  Just curious if this thing is smart enough with sensors and cameras to determine where things actually are in the room.

How to prevent/clean vivid color off my Dyson Airwrap?

Hi! I am having an issue with my bright pink/deep magenta hair color transferring to my light Blue/light pink Dyson Airwrap. Does anyone have any Advice on how to prevent this or even how to clean it off? I have tried getting it off with just water, and also using my Precleanse by Dermalogcia but nothing has worked (yes I know Precleanse is a skin cleanser but us Estheticians know it can be used to take off SO much more than just makeup). It could be the type of hair color too, because it’s actually a “permanent vivid color”. It’s Pravana Everlasting Poison Berry. It doesn’t transfer on anything unless it’s wet or heated.  I just got a light pink Dyson straightener as well without thinking about this problem before purchasing, and I’m nervous that my color is going to ruin it.  if anyone has any suggestions or tips please let me know!!!  thank you!

is a videocall the only way to get a repair from dyson?

i just bought a V11 and there is no power at the head to run the motorhead or the light.after spending much time on the phone with dyson i am told that i cannot have it fixed under warranty without them video-calling me.or i can take it to a service center 150 miles away.is this how a “modern” company works??.i wont buy dyson again

hp10 purifier hot and cool gen 1

Just purchased the hp10 gen 1 hot and cool. Works great ,however I have a question about the airflow.this model doesn’t have diffused air mode, on the fan opening there are grooves set back in the sides and there is a small amount of airflow coming from them when the fan is in use, either hot or cool mode.is this designed to output small amounts of air from these vents or do I have a dud? ( brand new purchase from Dyson Uk directly)any help / comments appreciated, especially from other hp10 gen 1 owners.thanks

Gen5 Detect digital motorbar + and -

I’ve checked high and low for this answer but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.The digital motorbar occasionally stops when hoovering my carpet on the gen5 detect. I have to turn the machine off and back on to start it up again. I’m assuming it is related to the + and - options on the head. Can anyone please tell me what they indicate so I can choose the correct setting? thank you

Can Dyson Gen 5 shred carpet fibers?

Hi, I’ve recently bought a Dyson Gen 5 detect. I’ve had it for days now and I have done a deep vacuum clean for almost 5 days now on our carpet. I noticed that it seems to be pulling the carpet fibers? I’m not really sure why it still keeps pulling these dirt/carpet fibers since I have basically been vacuuming everyday. Is it the motorhead brush being too stiff that it shreds the carpet fibers?

no update on my exchange

My machine stopped working after 2 months of buying it. I raised an exchange request for it. I sent the product within 2 days and it has been more than a month since I got a update.EVERYTIME I chat or email you guys, there’s just a standard reply “You’ll get an update in 24 hours”. After that? Nothing happens. After chatting about 15 times, you finally decided to send my exchange order but THAT GOT CANCELLED FOR NO REASON. I see the machine is available. But it got cancelled.And now you guys have even stopped replying to my emails.Is the customer service limited only till we’re buying the product? Because it seems like that. When I wanted to buy the product EVERYTHING was pretty smooth and fast. And now nothing is moving.

BP04 Air Quality Sensor Fault

I have had this machine for about five days. Woke up randomly to a sensor fault. Did all the necessary steps to factory reset it and was even on the phone with troubleshooting. They are having me ship it back and giving me a new machine. This is just terrible to experience with this new machine and paying over $1000. Going to give the replacement a chance before I ask for a refund.

Hello. My hair dryer has a problem. When I turn it on, it immediately turns off, and so on again and again.... I use it and I have to dry my hair and constantly hold the power button with my finger so that it doesn’t turn off. Then after 3 minutes it starts working normally and won’t turn off on its own. Been trying to pay my TP07 for months now and still issues…might aswell of got the. TP10 at this rate as always constantly getting stuck on 3rd one or sometimes the others worked perfectly when I first got it a few years ago but I don’t know what you’ve done since for it not to connect. please fix this?!

Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner power button doesn't work

I've had my Dyson for 3.5 years now and the power button stopped working. The trigger is not responsive. I checked with Dyson repair services and to fix the trigger they ask for $130. Dyson itself is so expensive (I bought mine for $500), they use defective parts and to top that to repair it is an additional $130...  I know there are so many videos how to fix that but any tips and tricks would be great.

Pulsating vacuum v7 and no response from customer service

I have completed all of the troubleshooting steps to my v7 vacuum pulsating, and have been trying to get a hold of customer support via chat and phone and have not been connected to anyone via chat in over an hour, and the phone line is useless because it only gives me the option to send me a text with troubleshooting tips which I have already done then drops the call.  This is a very expensive vacuum to be buying additional/replacement parts for it is not necessary which is why I am looking to speak to someone. This is ridiculous!

360 Vis Nav Problems

Hi Dyson Community,I purchased a 360 Vis Nav to replace my 360 Heurist robot as it was continuously scraping against walls and just not getting back to the charger base (Separate story).Setup the new 360 vis nav in the same place as the old - within the parameters of the requirements - on my landing. Started the mapping an it started - needed me to hit resume a few times when it bumped into the skirting but all good. Then I started a clean and it drove me crazy - it would get to a certain point in the landing bump twice then say its been lifted, when into rooms and got lost needing me to take it back to the charger - this was worse then the old one.I check the floor and thought it was the design of the banister so I even put card board along the edge to give a solid edge and still the same problem.Tried to remap and it just would do the mapping correctly.So contacted Dyson support and they replaced the unit. Setup the new replacement unit and it won't map  - gets to the same place in t

Worst after sales customer care from Dyson

My Dyson vacuum stopped charging after a year. Dyson refuse to acknowledge how poor this is and how badly it reflects on the company. There is also no complaints department (that says it all!). I managed to get through to a polite person who promises to escalate my complaint and then silence. Ignored. Despite on a number of occasions asking someone senior to call me back.  I have never bought an appliance which only lasts for a year. I am now left with an appliance that doesn’t work and I am being forced to purchase a replacement battery which is super expensive. I feel like u have been scammed. I feel Dyson is an irreputable company with no conscience and absolutely no care for their customers once the money is handed over. I will never by a product from this company again. I never expected this from Dyson but have been burnt and will now take my money elsewhere.

auto setting and air quality isnt working

Hi, I bought the new Dyson hot+cool generation 1 air purifier. I bought this fan because I have a premature baby and wanted to ensure the room temperate and air flow/quality is alway at its best.  since using it, I’ve had it on the auto setting the whole day and the air quality is fine. At night and the air levels are always red & really high! The room is a decent size, always clean and vacuumed.  I have the temperature on 22 degrees. The baby is sleeping in our room and I find I often wake up cause it’s too hot or too cold. If I drop the temperature to 21, it’s really cold, if I increase it 23 it gets to hot. Sometimes the air blowing is on the highest (I get that it’s trying to control the temperature) but again I wake up cause it becomes way too hot for the baby. I just can’t get it on the right level for the room. I want to leave this fan in the nursery but I’m worried that it won’t have a consistent temperature or air quality for the babyim not sure why the air quality has bee

dyson hairdryer makes my hair greasy more quickly

Hello,I got a new Dyson hairdryer recently and I've noticed when I dry my hair, even without using the styling attachments, it gets greasy much more quickly. It is just happening with the Dyson as I dried my hair with my old Philips hairdryer to check and my hair lasts much longer in between washes than with the Dyson.  I haven't changed anything in my routine and no new products so it has to be the hairdryer but i can't work out why?? Or how to fix this. Any ideas?  Thankssteph

Why do headphones only come in one ugly color?

As amazing as the features of the Dyson headphones sound, the color alone is enough to prevent me from purchasing. Why can’t Dyson create headphones in a variety of colors? Personally, the Blush/Copper color that the new hair tools come in is absolutely beautiful. Why not make pink headphones as well? I’d purchase those in a heartbeat. Any thoughts?

Dyson PH3 Humidifier Sensor for humidity in room faulty on 5 machines

We are beside ourselves on how to get the PH3 Humidifier to work. Dyson has now sent us 5 replacement machines in last couple months. None of them are reading the humidity in our rooms correctly. All show 74-77 percent. Thus, no water leaves their tanks. Customer Service can’t fix the issue with hours of phone calls. We think they have bad sensors. How can this many new machines have same problem? We run it on Auto and tried off Auto. Pressed remote and power button 10 seconds for countdown to reset, updated software via app, removed water tanks and reinserted, checked if wet at cap above water tank (yes).  What is wrong with these?

How to deal with Dyson’s terrible customer service?

I bought a Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet on March 11.   The order confirmation said: "Shipping within 3-7 business days, plus processing time."  It still hasn't shown up and this is almost 2 months from when I ordered it.    I have tried to get help from Dyson from both live chat and phone on multiple occasions but haven't been able to get anyone who could help.  I have gotten 3 emails from them over the past 2 months, each saying my expected date for my purchase had changed and I should expect it in 7-10 Business Days.   It still hasn’t arrived.  Today I finally got someone on the phone who told me he couldn’t find my order.   When I told him I wasn’t hanging up and didnt trust him to call back or email me a response, he put me on hold for a long time and spoke to the warehouse.   He said my order was shipped and should arrive tomorrow.  I’ll believe that when I see it.   Is there any way to get this company to treat its customers better?   I am appalled at how hard it is to get a produc
