Escalation Procedure Ireland

I bought a Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal extra from an Irish retailer on the 07/05/2021 and registered it with Dyson a few days later. Today I attempted to trouble shoot as the machine no longer holds charge. I received this message ‘ We may not have online support content available for this machine, as it has a serial number from another country. However, we can still help you over the phone, so please call us on 01-475-7109 or live chat with us now. I did exactly as suggested and called the above number. I spent over 20 minutes on hold and the call was then answered by and agent who put me on hold again after asking some questions and eventually I was cut off after 46 minutes! I am extremely frustrated and do not want to waste another hour of my day on hold. I bought this machine as my previous dyson lasted 10 years but this mornings experience has left me wondering how exactly do I get support from Dyson? (I was disappointed that my vacuum cleaner is giving me problems after just 3 years

Dyson Turkey - Incompetency

Hello,On 02/11/2023, I bought an airwrap product from Istanbul Emaar Square dyson demo store, telling your sales representative friend Enes that I wanted it to be the same color as the hair dryer in my house. Since the color code of my previous product was Q4, he naturally looked at the system and gave me the product with the color code Q4. When I came home and opened the box, I saw that the product in question had nothing to do with the product in my home. The product I have at home is dark blue and its metallic part is copper-like, but your new product with the same color code is much lighter and looks like a powdery pink. When I asked him to replace it with a Prussian blue product so that at least the copper side would hold, he contacted some of his managers and gave a negative response.As a long-term user and customer of your brand, I have been victimized as a consumer. V8 Animal+ battery issues

Good day,Due to my Dyson V8 Animal+ (Serial:) battery become dead after 2 years of usage, I’d like to exchange battery with new one Genuine Dyson Battery E.As I have doubts that it will work properly even after battery exchange, please confirm after exchange with new Dyson battery, vacuum cleaner should continue to perform same as new Dyson (in terms of duration on 1 full charge) up to 40 min? Thanks and Brgds(Moderation Edit - Sensitive data removed)

filter cleaning ring on the Supersonic

Good evening, newbie here!  Does the Supersonic Hairdryer come with the O Ring to clean the filter or should I purchase separate? I have watched some cleaning videos where people say they have received it and also a spare metal filter cap( mine doesn’t even seem to be removable completely) for the record I have the Blue/ pink version and I am based in the UK. Dyson Black Friday offers

Dyson Black Friday offers launched in the UK today (1 November.)  The vacuum cleaner I am looking for (the V12) is not among the discounted offers.  Based on what has happened during previous Black Friday sales, does anyone know if the range of discounted products is likely to change during the sale period with new products being added later, or is range we can see today going to remain unchanged during this year’s sale?

My Dyson HP09 blows cold air while not heating - Is this right?

Hi! Yesterday I received my Dyson HP09 and I noticed something that's in may opinion is odd. Unfortunately Dyson doesn't support App in my country, so I have limited features using only remote. Everything works good, heating sistem is working, but when it stops and just purifies the air, at some moments it starts to blow cold air. Is there are any option to turn off the cooling function? Because right now it's quite cold where I live and the cold air is the last thing I want in my house. Can I fix this?Thank you in advance,D.

Cashback from cashrewards is not provided - Any Ideas?

I have purchased a Dyson Pure Hot + Cool™ purifying fan heater. Dyson provided a cashback offers via Cashrewards dot com and I used that to purchase this device so that I can receive the cashback. However my cashback is declined and Cashrewards customer service rep has mentioned that Dyson has determined that this transaction hasn’t come from Cashrewards and thus declined my cashback. I am quite a frequent user of cashrewards and have used it properly all the time to get cashback from different retailers. It’s some glitch on dyson end and they are not accepting the cashback. Has anyone else have got similar issue. My original item was also faulty, and Dyson replaced it and created a new order with $0. But because they took the original item back is it because of that their system is considering it as return and not honoring the cashback and providing some reason. I am not sure but due to some issue in Dyson system’s they are not tracking cashback which is not fair as you get once a whi

Unable to contact Dyson. Long delays.

HiMy wife's Dyson hairdryer has an intermittent problem with the power cord, wiggle the cord it works/stops!I have tried for 3 days to call to determine how i get it repaired, every day the wait time is over 30 mins.Today I waited the 30 mins and when the phone was answered there e were many people having a conversation making it impossible to clearly hear the person answering the call.She promised to call me back.This call back has not happened.Really disappointed.How do I complain to Dyson please?ThanksSteve

Dyson Customer Support- Canada

 I am following up with the customer support for more than 3 months  on replacement of the bin for my Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum which is under warranty and have done numerous follow ups by way of calls , chats and e-mails however till now no solution have been provided. Last week I have been told that Dyson is going to replace the vacuum and asked me few details and today I have received a email that Dyson do not have the stock and they do not have the visibility on when they get the stock. However I can see the machine online on Dyson Website. Every month I am getting a new story and am now fed up with Dyosn, it seems that the company is not at all interested in customer service their only focus is to sell the product.I am writing on this platform with a hope to get some resolution.

Experience with Dyson UK - help with refund!

Hi all,we have half a dozen Dyson products - one of which is a new cool purifying fan, the rose gold version. We recently purchased through John Lewis as Dyson had no stock. anyway, we wanted to change to a more expensive fan as the purifying fan wasn’t fit for purpose. Dyson had promised us on two separate occasions to assist and promised a refund, now we are being completely ignored with customer service denying the fact we were offered a refund - we were!has anyone a contact at Dyson? Or had a similar experience? Every time we call, we can’t get through to an appropriate party, the chat / WhatsApp team are hopeless.  Thanks!cam (London)

Online MyDyson account isn't showing my registered machines. What can I do?

Hello!I’ve been struggling for several days now with the Dyson website. When I try to look at my registered machines, it shows nothing. I know for a fact I have at least 5 machines registered and this section of the website always worked ok in the past. The other sections see to work, although the “Contact Preferences” and “Order History” bits both point to the same “Order History” page, so something isn’t right there either.I contacted support on Thursday and they said that all my machines were still registered but there had been a “glitch on the network” and all would be resolved shortly. No, I wasn’t that convinced either :-) It’s now Saturday and it still isn’t showing any machines so before contacting support again I thought I would take the quicker option of asking the community. Anybody else having similar issues with the website/MyDyson section?Thanks in advance for any help you can provideGraeme

Filter design Dyson Cordless Vacuum DC59 - Feedback

Has anyone else found the DC59 filter’s design awkward to clean? I’ve followed the cleaning instructions regularly. The filter still became full. Youtube instructions suggested taking it apart, which made it possible to clean it efficiently.   But why are the filter’s plastic head/rods not designed to unscrew from the filter bag? The filter head design itself is made from a feeble plastic that isn’t strong enough to withstand being separated from the filter bag. Debris sticks to the bag’s inside making rinsing it under running water inadequate.  So after a while this debris impacts & needs to be thoroughly cleaned, which means having to remove the plastic head.  Please Dyson make this head a screw-on fitting.

Product Suggestion - Dyson coffee roaster

Just curious whether Dyson has a plan to build coffee roaster? They’ve knew how to blow hot air and vacuum chaff. After added few thermometers, that’ll be an interesting machine.

DC41 brush head not rotating

My DC41 brush head bristles were worn out and not picking up hair etc. so I ordered a new brush head.  However, when I installed the new brush head, it doesn’t rotate.  I tried using the old brush head, and that doesn’t rotate either.  It was rotating fine until I removed it to replace with the new brush head.Can someone pls throw some light on this?

Can I Use My Dyson Hair Dryer Overseas?

I’ve seen posts about not being able to use the supersonic overseas however on the Australian site I came across this: https://support.dyson.com.au/supporthome.aspx/Hair-Care/Dyson-Supersonic/HD01/312252-01/using-your-dyson-supersonic/using-your-machine-abroad so does this mean I can in fact use my North American dyson supersonic in Japan?

Dyson V12 Hair Screw Tool - Suddenly Very Noisy - What can I do?

This weekend I used the hair screw tool on my V12 and was aware that it had started making a noisy grating sound, seems to be coming from the purple screw tool when spinning. I took it apart to check there was no debris there causing an issue but it was clear and there were no obvious signs as to why it was making a noise.Any Ideas how to stop the noise?

Can I connect my Dyson to a Sander?

Hi im trying to connect my Dyson upright animal to my sander. I bought a small hose extension which would have been perfect only to find out the diameter is smaller and it was meant for the handheld models. Is there a small extender hose with the red end that clips in to the hose of the Dyson upright animal anywhere ? I can’t find anything. The other end doesn’t matter as I will make it work with the other sander connector I have. Thx. Andy

Returning a Dyson Product in the UK unsucessful

Afternoon All,I am trying to return a Dyson product that I am unhappy with, bought from dyson.co.uk.I have got no where with anyone at the moment so I am at a loose end.I had the fan delivered on the 15th September 2023. Was not happy with it but gave it a week or two.I proceeded to start the return process (under the 35 day returns policy) on the 5th of October via the Dyson Whatapp messaging service.First Collection Date: 10 October - There supposedly was an error and a new collection date was arranged.Second Collection Date: 12th October - No delivery company came to pick the item up.Third Collection date: 18th October (today) - Been told by the whatsapp messaging service that it has been cancelled and new collection date needs to be re arranged.All I want is to return the product and a refund.is that to much to ask!?Thanks in advance

Refund Status Update Please

Have waited for refund since Dyson arranged collection of my straightener in August. Call handlers have escalated my refund several times. Whatsapp chat confirmed I would receive refund by today. One of many dates when I've been promised refund. Manager has listened to my many calls and confirmed I was told I would get a refund. Supplied purchase receipt 3 times, bank details 4 times. Told I would receive call from complaints dept twice. None received. Have emailed customer services 3 times. No reply. So no straightener and £400 out of pocket!!

Refund status update please

Waiting for refund of more than £400 for almost a monthReturned two new vacuum cleaners directly back to Dyson.co.uk (I purchased them from Dyson.co.uk) as the quality was poor. Received an email where they confirmed that they had received the vacuum cleaners and that they were preparing my refunds. As I am still waiting for the money, today I called customer service. They were very rude, they said I would have to wait an additional 14 days even though I had already been waiting almost a month. Then they just hung up on me. This is not just unprofessional but they are breaching the law as the consumer’s statutory right on distance selling is to receive the refund within 14 days. They are also breaching the contract because they have the same promise on their website. I have been their customer since the nineties, not just with the vacuum cleaners but the hair products too,Does anyone know how to get my money please?Pease no auto reply’s like get in touch with the customer services, the

Unable to access my online account even though my login works on the app

Over the past month, I haven't been able to access my account online, although my login and password work on the app. Initially, I experienced a similar issue as the one described here. However, things got worse and I  completely lost access to my account. This is a problem for me because I have several registered machines with warranty info and a fast way to order parts, etc.The various helplines I contacted, via WhatsApp, chat, or via phone were unable to help me. They could see my account and my registered machines, but couldn’t do anything to resolve my access problem. All they did though was to ask me to reset my password or tell me to delete my cookies, try a different browser, etc., none of which helped.Can someone from Dyson please assist me?
