The Dyson App - Re-engineered

The Dyson Link App vs MyDyson AppIf you’ve seen some my previous posts, you’ll be use to me leaving feedback and my opinion about Dyson. Tonight is no different! Allow me to set the scene. There I was, drinking a cup of earl grey, planned the Purifiers heating schedule for this coming weekend and what should pop-up but a notification stating the Link App has been re-engineers. This wasn’t just any notification, one that I’d usually dismiss as a nuisance, but one that made me take notice. It showed we can now add their hair care and floor care machines. Wanting to test this, I went on the hunt for our Cyclone V10.The method of add a machine isn’t dissimilar from that which I followed for the Robot and Purifier, with one small frustration, it seemed to search my local wifi network for a machine broadcasting. Only after failing this search did it provide me an option to add my V10. Once added, a plethora of new option became available. Set up, maintenance and accessory videos at my finger

I think I know the answer, but I want to check with the community before dealing with Support. Does the A01 Desk Fan have a filter that can be cleaned? The instructions do not address it and there seems to be no way to remove it from the base. (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Replacement filter. Experience and feedback. In preparation of an upcoming holiday, my wife and I have been doing a somewhat spring clean. This involves using our very old cordless (DC58) to clean out the washroom. I might add this is also where we keep the dog leads and toys. After we had finish, we washed the filter and put it on the drainer, thinking no more of it. That is until our Yorky came darting out with a half chewed filter. Off to the Dyson web shop I went to order a replacement. After registering the vacuum, which included completing an application akin to any other. Name, address, purchase date and serial number. The actual process of locating the replacement was extremely simple and straightforward. With the part in stock, I completed the purchase and waited. I received an order confirmation straight away, with another once the part had been dispatched. Both I’ve come to consider as standard when placing an order.
