Apple Homekit Integration

Hello all! I made this topic to see how many others would like to see the integration of Apple’s HomeKit to the Dyson smart fan ecosystem. I know Siri Shortcuts exist and there’s third party apps that can integration your Dyson with Apple’s HomeKit but I would love the option to be added so it “Just works”. Anyone else have opinions on this?

Shelf life of V8 Absolute - Battery capacity

I bought our V8 Absolute in October 2017. It has poor run time and I can just replace the battery. However I don’t want to replace the battery and find that I need to replace the machine as they donlt last that long. It gets average use and is not mistreated or mishandled!

Solarcycle Morph Floorlight how to access "Boost" mode

Good evening to the community, First time poster but long time lurker on here! I'm wondering if someone could give me some direction with my Solarcycle Morph Floor Light, I've seen in a few publications from Dyson that the lights feature a "boost" mode but for the life of me I've never been able to find it? Where is this option hiding? As I've looked all over the application to find it! Secondly I'm wondering if there are any firmware release notes for the light as nothing in the year I've had it seems to have been released, I notice firmware changelogs are released for the 360 and the 360 Vis Nav! Why didn’t/will the ceramic pink airstrait launch in the UK?

I keep seeing comments claiming that the Mother’s Day colourway has launched in the UK but it doesn’t include the airstrait. Why not, Mother’s Day is 9 days away in the UK! Can we expect it?

Replace a brand new Dyson Airwrap from India for a US version

I received the Airwrap from my family as a gift. I live in US, when I had reached out to Dyson in June, customer service reps has assured me, i would be able to switch the Airwrap for the US version.I could not get to the service center, due to a long term medical emergency in the family.When I reached out back to the Dyson customer care today, they are telling me the policy has changed and they cannot replace the Dyson Airwrap for the US version.I need help!!!!!I am stuck with this beautiful expensive piece of technology that I have not been able to use for months now. There has got to be a way to help me with this, so I can use the Airwrap and be a satisfied customer. Can someone from the Dyson community take this back to higher management and help resolve this situation, please? (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

I have the DC11 cannister vacuum which is no longer being supported by Dyson. While washing the rectangular sponge-like filter, I ripped it and I can’t find any on-line source for a replacement. Is there some product I can buy and cut to fit to use as a replacement?

LOST PACKAGE - Dyson is no help

I placed an order with Dyson on 2.10.24. It was shipped and a tracking number was assigned. It never showed up. UPS lost the package. Any other time this has happened to me with any other company, they have wanted to make it right and taken on the responsibility. Not Dyson. It is my responsibility for some reason to file a claim with UPS, which I did. I worked with UPS and they reviewed and decided the package was indeed LOST. It has now been weeks of me reaching out to Dyson every day. I can’t get anyone on the phone and the chat and email have been no help. Just a lot of sorry we will get this sorted out but no actual help or answers or a timeline on this. I am not even asking for a refund. I just want the vacuum I ordered over a month ago. How hard is it to send me out a new vacuum and then sort this out internally? Worst experience with customer service by far. I see that I am not alone and this seems to be a normal thing for Dyson.

Cordless V8 animal connection problem - No power to tools - Ideas?

Hi! We have a v8 animal extra and for some reason the bin body won't work when connected to any motorised head. Other heads work fine on and off the stem, whereas neither of our motorised heads work at all on/off the stem. We thought the issue was with the main head but we just bought a new one from Dyson and that still doesn't work. Have brushed the connectors and blown out with a compressed air duster but nada. Gen5 Outsize wheels - snapped off

I’m wondering if other users have experienced issues with the GEN five outsize wheels breaking off. Both of my machines (One for Home, and one in my small office have experienced both wheels snapping off, and both machines are only two months old.Apparently, Dyson is out of motorhead to replace the faulty parts.

Multiplier - ROUND head tower fan

Help needed.. I have one of the original round tower fans, the one with the round circle head.. the multiplier is written on the circular head. (can’t see an actual model number?)Is there a filter anywhere to clean?I haven’t used it for a while and no cool air is coming out.I have used the vacuum on the bottom vent holes but not cleaning much or making a difference to the air.Can someone help me with the same product with their experience with cleaning?Thank you!

V10 animal motorhead not working

Hello, I have a V10 Cyclone Motorhead. Just after 2 years, the vacuum cleaner has stopped working, and when pressing the trigger it tries to start and then stop (known as boing sound due to the magnets). Similar experiences have been shared by: or I did all the cleaning, and saw a video online with exactly the same problem and a solution: It is upsetting that the product broke, just over 2 years after the purchase. As a previous research engineer at Dyson UK, I know the life tests carried out in NPD and I am sure customer care will be able to support. Cheers,Antonio

V10 Animal filter - Blockage/usage issues

Recently the symbol showing filter clogged comes on after every use! Enquired at the shop that services it to be told that this machine is not meant to be used on a daily basis, rather on those days when a plug in model is not used and the pickup is light. In other words it sounds like a Ewbank that my mother used but with a motor! Apparently the machine does not like fine dust and therefore clogs easily. I was astounded to learn this information given the price. Has anyone else been advised not to use it daily? I certainly don’t remember such advice when we we bought it…
