Ceramic Pop HD07 Hairdryer Stained – Disappointed by Lack of Support from Dyson

Hello,

I purchased the Dyson Supersonic HD07 hairdryer in the Ceramic Pop color on January 17, 2024, from an official Dyson store in Poland. While the hairdryer itself functions perfectly, I am absolutely shocked and disappointed by an issue with its exterior and the lack of support I received from Dyson.

After using a black fabric storage case, I noticed that the surface of the hairdryer had become stained with black dye. The discoloration seems to have deeply embedded itself into the material, and despite trying various gentle cleaning methods, I have not been able to remove it.

I contacted Dyson support in Poland, expecting assistance from a brand as large and reputable as Dyson. However, I was met with vague and repetitive responses. They simply labeled the issue as "cosmetic damage" and refused to provide further help. I was not given any advice on how to clean the stains, no clarification on the materials used in the hairdryer’s construction, nor any guidance on whether I could take it to a service center for inspection.

As someone who paid a significant amount for this hairdryer, I expected much better support and transparency. If I had known that the materials used in this model could be so easily stained by something as common as a storage case, I would have chosen a different product entirely.

My Questions:

  1. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with their Dyson hairdryer, especially colors like Ceramic Pop?
  2. Were you able to successfully remove such stains? If so, what worked for you?
  3. Is there a way to escalate this issue to another department within Dyson to receive a proper response and assistance?

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of meaningful support and transparency in resolving this issue. I truly hope someone here can provide advice or share a similar experience.

Best regards,Viktoryia
