Dyson Fan options language issue in Alexa iOS App

Good evening, Wondering if anyone has encountered the below issue.Options of my Dyson fans are showing in both English and Chinese/ Japanese in the iOS Alexa app. Images attached. Keyboard and Language on the device is set to English. Any help and support appreciated.

Customer service providing false information and promising price match: PLEASE educate your CX team...

I initially contacted customer service to inquire about a price match on a Dyson hair product, as I had found a lower price with Amazon. During this conversation, I sent the product link AND screenshots to your CX representative, who assured me that I would be eligible for a price match. Relying on this information, I went ahead with the purchase on Dyson’s website, fully expecting that the price match would be honored as promised. I even accidentally ordered the wrong product, so the CX rep placed another order for me...and failed to cancel the first order even after multiple attempts. So now I have 2 air wraps. When I attempted to submit the price match, I was informed by another representative that Dyson does not offer price matching on hair products. Not only was this reversal frustrating, but the miscommunication also wasted my time and led to a negative experience with Dyson as a whole. DYSON should be ashamed of themselves!

I purchased a Dyson product, which I returned as an “exchange”. Dyson received my product, verified, August 1st. After 12 on-line CHATS, 3 telephone conversations, and 3 escalation to “Supervisors”. not a single time has Dyson done their job...after all this discussion, I receive notification that a “credit refund” was issued September 7th, for the WRONG AMOUNT. So, back on CHAT, throw the damn scripts in the garbage, answer my question, and stop telling me wait another 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS to call back or CHAT again. If, I ever get my refund properly processed, another DYSON product will never enter my home...and I have purchase 7 items previously. EVEN the DYSON “Supervisors” can’t tell the truth, even though they read the script saying “I will personally resolve your situation”. How can DYSON call their customer service, “service”. What a regrettable experience without it still being fully resolved!!! Brutal

Apple Homekit Integration

Hello all! I made this topic to see how many others would like to see the integration of Apple’s HomeKit to the Dyson smart fan ecosystem. I know Siri Shortcuts exist and there’s third party apps that can integration your Dyson with Apple’s HomeKit but I would love the option to be added so it “Just works”. Anyone else have opinions on this?

who else wants better smart home integration?

I have one of the air purifier fans but I feel a little let down that this feels like a first generation smart home gadget, I want plugins/skills/api’s to really integrate this fan into my smart home, I run homekit and home assistant and as far as I know other than some sketchy hacky github projects I can’t do much with the fan outside of using the app to control it or use the voice shortcut I created in the app but that has very limited abilities beyond custom scene settings and even then you have no real control over oscillation beyond on/off. any chance one of the devs can convince a product owner that greater interoperability with the wider smart ecosystem is a win for everyone. Imagine a world where you wake up and the fan is warming the room gently so you don’t have to have a shower and return to a cold room. You leave the house and without touching your phone the fan turns off, you’re at work and there’s no need to worry about the fan filter being pointlessly used up because you

How do I use Voice Control via Alexa with my Dyson Purifier?

Hello I’m disabled and need to use the voice commands to control my fan. When it’s in heating mode I can’t get it to go back to cooling. I say “Alexa turn on cooling” but no charge, if I lower the temperature by voice that doesn’t do anything. I also don’t like on night mode the light doesn’t go off still very bright moon ☹️(Moderation edit - title updated)

Purifier doesn't connect to Google Home any more - Help!

My previously connected Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool™ PH01 (White/Silver) started showing as “offline” in Google Home app a few weeks ago, and I tried to reconnect Dyson app to Google home, resetting the purifier and re-adding it to the Dyson app, and now when I’m trying to add Dyson app to Google home it says “Dyson linked” first and then “Something went wrong, please try again” and nothing is added.Is this something to do with the device or Google home?

Siri shortcut timeout

After I upgraded the IOS to 15.4.1, my Siri shortcut for HP09 will be timeout. I try to remove dyson link app and reinstall it. Also I remove the Siri shortcut and re-create the Siri shortcut. It’s also timeout. May anyone know how to fix it ?

airflow direction in the alexa skill?

Feature Request: could the airflow direction be added to the Alexa skill? Context, I have a routine that I run which includes turning my HP07 on, enabling night and auto mode but I’d prefer it to reverse the airflow for bedtime as part of this which currently isn’t an option. anyone else having assistant issues like me

So it was all fine and dandy before the Dyson major app redesign and update but now my tp01 devices for the most part no longer work with assistant consistently. I am very technical so if someone has a solution or knows the Dyson api handy perhaps I can quickly create my own app for my Google assisnt devices but what is happening is the same thing the new redisgned app has been doing since day one. Android devices here so maybe just an issues with Android but perhaps iOS as well. Anyways exactly like the app since it was redisgned i ask Google to make a change in a setting and it says trouble connecting right now please try again. This is about 70 percent of the time. I have done 35 relinks of my assistant account as well but I'm beginning to believe it is more on the iot side of things for Dyson because the app.Ever since and it is currently up to date as of today the new redisgned app hit the scene a few months ago now we'll actually longer but you all know what I mean it has always

Is your TP04 Pure Cool very Cool?

Hi everyone, My TP04 Pure Cool just arrived. Was super excited to get it but to be honest I haven’t had the best experience because my first unit was faulty and it’s taken over a month to get my second unit. I turned it on (and it works.. yay!) but it’s not as cool/cold as I thought it would be. The advertising looks a like it cools down a whole room but it hasn’t made a difference in mine yet. How effective do you find yours? Do you need to sit right in front of it? Thanks, Maree

How to setup multiple HP02s with Alexa?

I have successfully setup and am using Alexa voice control with my original HP02. I just bought a 2nd HP02 for another room and want to use Alexa there as well but cannot seem to figure out how to get Alexa to differentiate between two of the same HP02 devices.
