Conflicting advise regarding the charging of Corrale hair straightners | Dyson Community

Good morning, my question appears to be so simple but the responses I’ve received from two different customer service operators has been totally conflicting.

I’ve had my Corrale straightners for 3 years, but for the past six months they did not appear to be charging correctly. I contacted CS and they have eventually sorted me out by swapping my troubled straightners for a reconditioned pair at the cost of £99. However when I first rang CS and explained what was going wrong, I was told the problem occurred as I’d kept them on the charging stand constantly charging. This did make sense, but the following call I had I did say I’d NOT make the same mistake this time and this operator advised me that having them charge 24/7 is the way to go.

Please can anyone advise me which is it charge 24/7 or not?
