Help! This is our first, and possibly last, Dyson. We have the Allergy Plus model and there is no suction control. Yes, you read that correctly, no suction control. We have several area rugs so this is basically useless to us as it immediately sucks up the rug and jams. I tried customer service but they did not understand the fact that this model has no suction control slider. They kept sending me manuals to other models and then suggested I go to a repair shop which is 2 hours away! I stupidly assumed I had 90 days to return but found out it was only 30 after the return window passed ‍♀️  Has anyone found a way to fix this issue so I don’t just have a really expensive clothes hanger 🤬
