The Dyson WashG1 wet cleaner is designed to automatically flush out any residue or buildup from the system while the machine is docked and charging. Essentially, when you place the machine on its dock and ensure the power supply is on, it cleans itself as part of its maintenance routine, ensuring optimal performance and hygiene for future use.

Ordinarily you should be able to initiate your Dyson WashG1 wet cleaner’s self-clean cycle following the steps in our video guide:

Understood. But that wasn’t clear from the video. I naturally assumed that if the battery was well charged connection to the mains would not be required.
