DYSON V12 air filter problems.

I have had this machine for nearly two years now and is has been a constant problem. I have 3 filters which I rotate as needed, one in use and the other two drying after being washed. There are constant error messages stating the filter needs to be cleaned - even after a fresh filter has been used. I have cleaned the machine, ensuring airways are clear yet the problem still exists. To be blunt, it’s the worst vacumn I have ever had. There seems to be a lot of discussion on this forum about this problem, does anyone actually have an answer to it?

I have the same problem. We have two original filters which we clean regularly and we have checked for blockages. However when I shook and tapped the motor head today after removing the filter a big pile of fine dust fell out of the inside of the machine. It’s like the filter is not sufficient to keep very fine dust out of the interior of the motor and I don’t know how to clean it. Do I need to actually take the device apart to get that dust out? And how do I stop it from building up again if the filters don’t trap it adequately.
