Hi all, new Dyson user here, big question to get started however. My V8 Animal came from my sister in law in the United States, however I am in Ireland and although I'm somewhat aware of different voltages in both countries I'm not 100% sure how I can go about safely charging my American Dyson in Ireland and would be very grateful for some info and help on the subject, thank you all. Hello/welcome. Officially, you should get a new charger (Can I use my Cordless vacuum cleaner abroad/overseas? | Dyson Community). If it were from mainland Europe, I’d say a converter will be fine. But the US use a different voltage and the plugs are wired differently. Picking up a 3Pin UK/Ireland charger would be best.
