Purchased dyson V10 cordless hoover with wedding money for it to not work less than 2 years later, the ‘max’ function is entirely unusable. The filter light has flashed on and off for weeks even after cleaning the filter and drying for more than 24 hours.

This has all lead to the hoover now not staying on for longer than 10 seconds, all demonstrated on an entirely frustrating hour long phone call with customer service who agreed the machine is clean and it now needs a repair. Repair wait for collection is three weeks away and then a further wait for the hoover to be returned to us, which looking at other conversations, doesn’t fill me with hope. 

Family of five, £350 hoover and now a month without one based on faults out with my control.

Dyson offer no customer service escalation, just repeatedly told ‘nothing we can do, can’t pass you on to anyone else oh and they don’t acknowledge all complaints’. Purchase date also was three months before so our warranty was conveniently expired even though on providing actual purchase receipts, warranty still valid for 2 months. My fault again apparently for not registering my machine so they just make up a date? 

We certainly won’t repurchase if this is the level of customer service provided. Don’t charge so much for hoovers if the customer care doesn’t match up. Way to look after your customers, dyson!

Down an hour of my working day and without a working hoover from now until god knows when. Excellent for the budget price of £350. AVOID!
