Hi! I’m really torn on whether to purchase the Airstrait or the Airwrap Origin with the three attachments. I really love straightening my hair, but at the same time would love to be able to do blowouts etc. My main focus, though, is on hair health. I have slightly damaged, past shoulder length wavy hair that can get quite frizzy, so I want to be able to use the appliance at least a few times a week without heat damage. I assume with the airwrap I could achieve a straight look using the brush attachment, but if this would be more damaging than the airstrait, I’d rather just get that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community!
The technology at the core of the Dyson Airstrait straightener is very similar to the Dyson Airwrap multi-styler. They both style from wet to dry, with air - and no extreme heat.
The Dyson Airwrap multi-styler is fantastic for creating a wide range of styles - including straight styles using the Firm or Soft Coanda smoothing brushes.
The Dyson Airstrait straightener can help you simplify your routine when you want to achieve a straight finished blowout style quickly – ideal for every day fast styling, or the days where you don’t have as much time to spend on your hair.
Hope this help, but we’ll let our other Community members share their own experiences and feedback. Let us know if you have any further questions!
