I was initially thrilled with my Dyson hair dryer. It performed beautifully, drying my hair quickly and leaving it shiny and smooth. However, just 16 months after purchase, it unexpectedly stopped working. It won’t turn on.  I only used it twice a week.

Disappointedly, when I reached out to Dyson for warranty support, I was told that my serial number is registered under someone else's name. This is shocking since my unit was brand new and not refurbished. I never imagined that I would face such an issue, especially from a brand that I thought was professional.  I own various Dyson hair products and a vacuum.    

I am deeply disappointed in Dyson's warranty process and lack of support for loyal customers. I had high expectations for this product and the company, and it’s frustrating to be left without resolution.

Dyson needs to improve their customer service policies to better support genuine customers in the future.  I will not be a future customer after this experience. I won’t risk purchasing another hairdryer (or any other product) to not receive any customer service or warranty.

Your Dyson warranty is validated by your proof of purchase showing when and where you bought it - this could include your original store purchase receipt, or an order confirmation email if you ordered online.
