Hello! I’ve just purchased the Dyson HS05 Airwrap and I love it, but I have some concerns about the locking mechanism.
In the first picture is the lock before the accessory has been inserted and in the second one is after the curling wand has been attached, as it can be seen, the lock doesn’t go fully up to it’s original place and no audible click is heard when I insert any accessory. Is this an issue and my multi-styler is broken? Please help me! Thank you very much!

When your Airwrap™ curling barrel is fitted and you’re using it to style your hair, does the barrel feel secure or is it excessively loose? You can gently hold the barrel (when cool before use) and twist it slightly to help ensure the locking catch is fully engaged.
If it’s securely attached, there’s no issue here and you can continue to use your machine as normal.
