I’ve only had it for a few days, but love how easy the AirStrait is to use, and the variety of settings, including hairdryer! Unfortunately with my thin, fine shoulder length slightly wavy hair, I may have been expecting too much from it (especially for the price), but was hoping that it would make my hair look sleeker, and remain that way before going back to the “fluffy” look once I go outside. I do have creams, sprays etc, but any advice on how to optimise this tool to get real value gratefully received. I’m currently within the 45 day trial period :-)
Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community, and congratulations on your new machine!
We’ll let our other Community members share their own tips and feedback, but in the meantime, suitability really depends on which styles you’re hoping to achieve.
The Dyson Airstrait straightener is engineered to take your hair from wet to dry, creating natural straight and stretched styles while maintaining your hair’s natural volume and movement. With no heat damage!
If what you’re looking to create is a sleek poker-straight finish, or curls and beachwaves, the Dyson Corrale straightener might be a better choice for your needs. It’s for use on dry hair only, and relies less on heat than some other straighteners. It’s cordless, and engineered for travel and styling on the go.
In both cases, you can combine with your favourite styling products to help enhance and prolong your style!
Thanks
