3 weeks ago I paid for my Dyson hair dryer to be repair. Dyson took my money but did not provide a collection date. I had to chase it up. I finally got a collection date for this week Wednesday 11th, no one showed up. I contacted Dyson Wednesday evening and they said collection would be Thursday again no one showed up. Because the collection can happen at any time of the day I had to take some annual leave on Wednesday and my husband had to do the same on Thursday. We have wasted our annual leave and my hair dryer is still with us. Very very poor service. It is also very difficult to contact Dyson via email.
Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thanks for letting us know about this.
I’ve reached out directly to take some further information.
I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
This literally happened to me today. Took a day off to hand my hairdryer to DPD but they didn’t turn up, although I saw a van drive past in the afternoon. I messaged Dyson and was reassured the collection would be before 7pm. At 7.05pm I messaged again to ask why the collection hadn’t been made even though I tracked the collection box which was in the DPD depot 40 miles away. I was told they would have to cancel my collection and I would have to book another, meaning I would have to pay the £99 again and wait for a refund for the first collection. I declined and asked for a refund. I will replace my hairdryer with either GHD or Shark, whichever has the best reviews.
Their customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. My advise Never Buy A Dyson Product.
Also Dyson have not reached out as per above.
Hi
I reached out to you yesterday, but have not received a response with the information I need to investigate this for you.
Please check your inbox here at the Dyson Community and respond with the information requested.

Hi
I never heard back from you in response to my request for details, so we weren’t able to do anything to assist here.
Glad you’ve been able to get your machine repaired, anyway!
