what do I do with my Supersonic that I purchased in Japan

I purchased a Supersonic in Japan because I was told it’d work in the US.

I came back home, tried to use it, and it won’t work.

I contacted the customer service and they told me to contact my local store, and that they would exchange for a US one.

I called, the store is saying that’s not true and they can’t do that.

I activated my warranty no problem so I have warranty but what do I do with this Supersonic if I can’t use it…..?

Hi @Jennm,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

We don’t offer an international warranty - your Dyson warranty will only cover you in your country of purchase. We strongly advise against purchasing a Dyson machine outside of the country you intend to use it:

This isn’t a situation we’ll be able to resolve via the Dyson Community. You’ll need to continue your ongoing conversation directly with the Dyson Customer Care team in your region, as we won’t be able to override the guidance they’ve offered. You can reach your local team by visiting Dyson.com and clicking Support.

I’m sorry if this wasn’t the answer you were hoping for here.
