I purchased the Wash G1 because I thought it would be an efficient and hygienic was to keep my hard floors clean (I have a lot of them). I regret my purchase and see it as an expensive mistake - I wish I had not persevered in trying to get on with it and sent it back within the 35 day refund period. But I did not and 53 days later I have been authorised for a replacement. My issues are:
- dirty water does not collect well. Some days for the same floor area I will have a half full dirty tank and others less than a centimetre for the same area.
- cleaning the tray is a wet messy business and I have to wear gloves and use a cloth to get rid of the soggy debris. It’s not like the “tap, tap” cleaning into the bin as portrayed. Removing the tray is also tricky and I end up with patches of dirty wet puddles on the floor so have to mop that by hand!
- the rollers are stored wet and I don’t like that. Yes I do take them out every two uses and wash them. They take longer than 24 hours to dry btw.
- cleaning of rollers and brushes is time consuming. Wish I had stuck with just a hoover and flash mop . Cheaper and easier !
- yes I do use the clean cycle every time and I hoover the floors before using and I ensure the filter nozzle between clean and dirty tanks are washed through each time.
- my conclusion - hard work and overpriced!
