My husband gifted me a Dyson straightener a few years ago, costing over $700 in 2021. We expected it to be a long-lasting investment. However, after just two years, the battery stopped holding a charge. 

I contacted Dyson for assistance, only to be told that it must be taken to a service centre. The nearest service centre is over 5 hours away from us. When I inquired about mailing it in, I was informed that it must be delivered in person and that there was no guarantee it could even be repaired. 

Now, my expensive straightener sits unused in our basement because I can't bring myself to throw it away. Dyson's lack of support and rigid policies have left me extremely disappointed, and I will not be purchasing their products again. This experience has shown me that they do not stand behind their brand or value their customers.
