Dyson V6 Cleaner Head - Version difference - 102882 or 102882-01

Hi,

We have a V6 and Easter to replace the head as the brush had stopped spinning.

We thought we had it sorted and ordered a replacement head. But the new replacement doesn't fit.

Our old head is part No 102882 and our replacement is No 102882-01. The difference is the pins and the plastic around it. See attached picture.

I've looked around and every website doesn't tell you which No part you're buying.

Am I missing something here?

Advice very much welcomed

Hi @Daves

This really is a strange one! The online part selector should dynamically match the serial number of your machine to that of a replacement, recommending the correct part.

I’d need to investigate this with our team and find out the cause.

Could I ask you to please drop me a private message with the below information:

  1. Machine’s serial number
  2. URL of part purchase
  3. Full part number - Found on the order confirmation

Once I have this, I’ll reach out to our parts team and come back to you with a conclusion.

Thanks,

Stuart

Hi @Daves

This isn't something I’ve ever come across. I’d suggest this is a topic for the CM or a Moderator to look at. @Stuart

I’d expect they’d need more information on the part. Do you have the URL to the page you order from and the part!?

Kirby.
