Help My DC44 Animal has no power!

Hi all

I have a brilliant DC44 Animal which has lost all power…..not sure if its the battery or the charger.

After plugging in the unit the green charge light is not showing on the charging unit.

Not sure if its the battery that needs replacing or the charging unit??

Any clues please?

None. Apart from a faulty charger. If that is the case, you’d have to buy a new one. To my knowledge, they aren’t repairable. By chance, have you used their online diagnostic tool? It should indicate any fault. DC44 Online Support | Troubleshooting | Dyson UK.

Hi

Many thanks all...I have found the problem it was the charging unit cable wasent sitting in the unit properly so it wasent charging. Taken the charge cable out of the wall unit and now I get a good connection!
