I purchased a vacuum as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. The box arrived cut open, one side with no covering at all, and the contents appeared re-packaged. The next four days were a nightmare trying to get a return shipping label. Customer had scripted responses for every question but no actual solutions. It wasn’t until I called a FIFTH TIME did I actually receive a label.
The return has been received according to tracking. I have not received any follow-up communication from Dyson. I called today and also attempted an online chat to get confirmation of my exchange and receipt in time for Christmas. Online Chat was a HUGE WASTE of time. The rep on the phone could only repeat a scripted line that MEANT NOTHING.
Dyson Customer Service is NO SERVICE! Buyer beware! IThey have a scripted line every time, but NO ACTUAL HELP. I have begged for a superviser or anyone with some authority, NOTHING. I made a huge mistake assuming a high-end product would have customer service. I regret this purchase and fear that they will have no resolve if they ever have an issue with the vacuum (if I ever receive it). I am super conflicted about whether I suggest they pick one from a different company.
