Ordered a gen5detect, which is the premium cordless vac at £569.99. Next day delivery included. Waited in, failed to deliver, next day - waited in, failed to deliver. Contacted through the chat feature for a truly disheartening experience (including further delivery delays) which lead to me cancelling the order. Escalated a complaint, total disregard for the impact on me and instead (as a valued customer) tried to resell me the product at a higher price and stated that a refund would be processed to my bank account 14 days after receiving the return.
I had selected payment via Klarna so a refund to my account is incorrect, I have to wait on the back of their failure to delivery, I have never had a product to return. So frustrating and no indication that Dyson actually care, they only want to try and push more sales. I don’t trust them to process my ‘refund’ let alone any impact on my credit rating.
