Hi @Guru2332,
Welcome to the Dyson Community!
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had difficulty obtaining a replacement Main body assembly for your Dyson V11 vacuum. We support our machines with spare parts and servicing for their warranty period and beyond. Despite global supply constraints, please be assured we’re doing everything we can to add new stock of spare parts and accessories as soon as we’re able to.
There’s nothing we can do via the Dyson Community forum to expedite sending a part which is out of stock in your region, but I would encourage you to continue your conversation directly with the Dyson Customer Care team in India if you’d like to discuss this further. They’re best placed to access your records on our system and see what options may be available for you.

Hi Jack,
Appreciate your response to my post.
I would like to whether Dyson does servicing of the machines it sells to its customer ? For instance, in my case, I had a video call with Dyson agent who asked me to show them the issue - My dyson V11 absolute pro works fine in boost mode but has pulsating issue in eco and medium mode. Initially the agent said the problem could be with the filter.. to which I again asked them if it were only the filter how come it’s working fine in boost mode alone.. to which she immediately said then the issue could be with main body - cyclone and said it needs to be replaced .. I asked her why Dyson doesn’t send any technical home visit to inspect the machine and if it requires a minor servicing .. instead of replacing the entire main body.. my shock came the next day when the agent called me to inform that main body spare part isn’t available right now and not sure when it would be even in stock.. she suggested me an alternative solution which is I pay 12k ( the main body spare part cost is hardly 4K) and upgrade to Dyson V11 absolute SV28. Is this how Dyson provides customer service ? I asked her 2 questions .. 1) why should a customer pay 3 times the spare part cost and just upgrade to a new machine, when the fault is only with the main body or cyclone.. all my accessories and swappable battery are working fine .. 2) even if I upgrade to SV28 Dyson V11, what’s the gaurantee that I wouldn’t end up in similar situation say main body fault in 1 or 2 years down the lane or battery fault and Dyson doesn’t have spare part availability.. this would be just a vicious circle of forcing its customers to keep on spending more and upgrade just to keep running their machines ?? Isn’t ??
im sort of disappointed and frustrated in knowing that Dyson isn’t even providing service or spare part replacement for its products that it eas selling it as latest at the time of my purchase which was hardly 3 years ago.. will any other manufacture or company say a car or an iPhone will simply ask their customers to replacement their entire machine ?? Just coz a particular spare part they dont have in stock ??? Doesn’t make sense right
Hi @Guru2332,
Thanks for your reply. Dyson cordless vacuums are modular by design, and in the event of a breakdown we would normally replace the assembly that’s at fault. From the information you’ve shared, the diagnostic checks you’ve been walked through seem to indicate that a Main body assembly is needed to resolve the issue in this instance.
As mentioned you’ll need to continue your conversation around repair or replacement part options with your regional Dyson Customer Care team. They’re best placed to confirm what options will be available to you locally.
