Good day

I bought my Dyson V8 Vacuum cleaner via an online store in South Africa a week ago.

I have tried to register the machine on the Dyson Website, but I just got an error message that the serial number is incorrect.  I double checked, the number was correct. 

I just want to know how to register my V8 online to ensure that it has a warranty and for how long is the warranty valid after purchase date?
