What is the DC07 made of and how?

I’m curious about the production process of the DC07 Dyson vacuum cleaner that had its production run in the early 2000’s. I suspect that it was made from ABS and methods included injection molding but I would appreciate if an expert could shed some light on the topic or point me to a location where I can find such information.

Hi @JBahra,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

Like all Dyson vacuums, DC07’s components were made from a variety of tough, flexible material blends capable of absorbing impacts and withstanding the stresses and strains of daily domestic use.

These materials include nylon, polycarbonate and ABS.

We use high-grade, recyclable materials which can be responsibly disposed of at the end of their working lifespan.
