I have a Dyson DC19 vacuum cleaner (serial no. DF1-UK-DBA2541A) which has a broken connector that clips onto the brush floor tool – see attached photo. Disappointingly I was not able to source a replacement part from a variety of retailers.
How do I purchase directly from Dyson a new connector for my Dyson DC19 vacuum cleaner?

The neck of the DC19T2 floor tool isn’t available as an individual component - you would need to replace the complete floor tool assembly.
If you give our UK Helpline a call on 0800 298 0298, they should be able to help you order the right part for your particular model and variant. They’re available 8am-8pm from Monday to Friday, and 8am-6pm on weekends.

I called the above UK Helpline a call on 0800 298 0298 and was told to go back to the same retailers with a part code for the complete floor tool assembly. Going round in circles - unsatisfactory customer service. Dyson should have a retailers network, why can’t Dyson source the part and deliver for the customer?
Will not use Dyson again. Instead purchased Shark product!
